Murder on the Emerald Express: Chapter 9B
Adam replied to WesternOutlaw's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Oh dear. *topples off coal tender* Well, I see two options. Either it was Eleanor's handgun that killed the poor girl, or it was Greaser's - that much is obvious. Once we've recognized that fact, we find that each road splits into another three possibilities, this time concerning the bullet. Those three are as follows: the bullet is in Jennifer, the bullet lies among the coal, or the bullet was taken out by the killer. Now, assuming that you two do not have the same exact gun, and assuming that we can find the bullet, then it is quite possible the bullet can be matched to one of the guns. That is why I'd like to do three things: search the coal where she was killed for a bullet, if that turns up no results search the wound for a bullet, and finally look for white tape to place around the coal in the shape of her splayed form. Speaking of which, I find it quite interesting that some of you were so eager to push her from her perch. Now, regarding that I was somehow able to recognize her - this assumption seems to be a mere matter of intuition. I have received no information from Alex to say otherwise, so it is likely that I simply surmised her to be Jennifer. I would be surprised if there was anyone present that could identify the body. -

Don't forget, we could always use the Crocodile to tow the Emerald. In fact, we're much closer to starting up the Croc than the Emerald. We still have to find the Johnson and Bracket, but we've already found the Crocodile Rod - all we have to do is put it in and wheel the fuel over. -
Minifig Customization Workshop Contest

Wait - if I am to understand, we cannot add white backgrounds to our images? Or can we just not add effects? Otherwise, great contest! -
Generally, you should only revive old topics if you truely have something interesting and discussion-worthy to say. For instance, it would be perfectly fine for me to post this glorious image of me as a Simpson:

Though I disagree with the Simpsons being out of their prime, I agree with every other point.

Let's check the coal behind the Emerald Express. I have this odd feeling that someone is lying down on top of it. We can check the switches/Crocodile afterwards. -
I meant with all of the figures and mini-ships, but thanks!

One of the few alternatives of getting the Emerald out of town is towing it with the Crocodile. However, that is property of the town, and if we allow you to use it to return to your destination, then we must at least be allowed to board the Crocodile for the trip. -
Great review, Bob! But is it possible to get an image of the completed ship?

I would suggest checking the switches and bringing around the Croc. -
Murder on the Emerald Express: Discussion

I would nominate someone who applied/is interested if this was a society for common sense. Though seriously, you seem interested, why not request to be a replacement? I would wish you luck! Telling Shadows that you didn't want his ugly mug on the banner in the Shipyard. -

May I check to see if there is anything on the wing (some form of writing, any items, etc.)? -
I voted for 'Other.' Italian yachtsmen for the world!

I'd like to check the wheels (if they're sound, stable, have any writing, etc.) and under the plane. -
Geez, guys, what's so disappointing? So he cut a few bricks - I don't see any of you scoffing at custom minifigures, so why be nitpicky about this creation? I think it's a great creation, and I'm going to guess that you [Oken] do too - otherwise, you wouldn't want to be recreating it. Yes, the 1x1 cut brick effect could've been mimicked with five 1x1 plates and a 1x1 tile, but that's no need to excoriate Nathan for it.

I'll go search around the truck as well, checking under the seats, in the glove compartments, etc. I'd also like to tell the ladies how great they look. -

Shmelt, I'm all for playing this tape, but it would seem that we have no means of doing so at the moment. And honestly, I would rather shlep the Croc to and fro than hop aboard Air 666 with some phsyco knife-throwing chef. -

Hmm. I'll hold on to this in case we meet lumberjacks. Then I can talk lumberjack with them. I think that we should go with the assumption that the red on the axe is paint - Alex told us it was definitely that. I also think that we should consider Willy's thought, that the axe had smashed against the radio. That's why I'd like to now check the radio for any signs of paint loss and compare the color of the paint on the axe to that of the radio. -

I would like to inspect the axe/hatchet closely, ie., the paint, any other features, etc. and then reach down to the bottom of that barrel and see if there is anything there. -

May I check the radio equipment to see if there have been any recently made transmissions? -

How's about we reconsider my plan? It would seem that our main goal is to fuel the Crocodile and put in the Crocodile Rod. What we do from there can be decided then: do we leave on the Crocodile or try and find some way to make it tow the Emerald? Either way, we have to get the Crocodile onto the main line, which I assume is the job of switches six and seven. -
Instead of a brick with rubber band, a head with normal male hair and Technic half pin also works.

May I check the files under "J" and then proceed to the closest switch? I believe that would be either two or three, correct? Err... you told Howard you were a Town Council member. Doofus... -

Firstly, this Jennifer person was running from you in the council. Secondly, the Alex told me that there had been activity by the Town Hall, indicating that the mayor was up to something, and that a train might be stopping in. End when are we initiating the Crocodile plan?
