  1. For God's sake, have I found any weapons yet?! Well, this is certainly very interesting. It would seem that the woman who paid for your tickets died thirty years ago. Are we to assume that Jennifer is her daughter? Or has she been reincarnated in the form of this Jennifer? Or was she Jennifer all along, and can live for hundreds of years? Is she Guinan from Star Trek: The Next Generation?!
  2. I'd like to leave and check the switches after I search for weaponry, since we've clearly exhausted all we can of this room at the moment.
  3. I'd be willing to bet that she's one of the townsfolk we've all already met. It wouldn't be much of a mystery if she just came out and told us she was Jennifer. Really? Well, all detectives are wrong at some point, but... Either this is the WORST case of hemorrhoids I have ever seen or it's the JOHNSON ROD!
  4. 4) a. She hasn't revealed herself yet, like she so explicitly said in her letter.
  5. Because this man-crush just got totally bromantic? It's because I had suggested searching the filing cabinet as well, but saw that you had already gotten to it.
  6. Regardless, the Mayor knew of your "accidental" arrival before it happened, whoever sabotaged it. And what is this piece of cargo you mentioned? You seem prone to letting personal facts slip.
  7. Well of course! What else could it be, a kitten?
  8. *sigh* There is a reason Jennifer knew you'd arrive! Didn't you already know it? There is a Willoughby citizen within your group. That's how everyone knew you were coming - the Mayor had implied that a train would be stopping by, and soon. I know you are all skeptical of Howard's Town Council theory, but not everything he says is total nonsense. The Town Council has a way of silencing those who speak of leaving, and you'd do well to be wary of each member of it. And what is the only possible explanation for why the Mayor knew of your arrival? Because someone from the town was on the train and sabotaged it, forming the so-called "accident" that brought you to this creepy place. I thought you knew that... On a side note, I'd like to inspect the area for any more weaponry. I don't want anyone pulling a gun on me that I didn't know was there.
  9. Since we're here, I think I'll help Grease and Brakes look around the desk and filing cabinet.
  10. Elementary, my dear Watson! For reference, here is the map: Now, as the push-cart and fuel tanker are at the farm. Since there are no shown switch points at the farm, we have to tackle the problems of switches 4, 3, 2, and 1. Now, we must first discover the position each is currently in. I suggest that multiple groups are dispatched to do so. If any switch points are in the wrong direction, we'll simply flip the corresponding switches in the Town Hall! I'm off to check the closest switch and see if it's current position leads to the shed.
  11. There's a plan! And since the Crocodile is property of this town, any citizens that wish to tag along can pop in that train... I say we take the push-cart to the oil tanker and wheel it over to the train shed, then fill the Croc up with fuel and install the Crocodile Rod. High five!
  12. I hadn't considered that it might work on the Emerald... But don't you still need a bracket?
  13. It would seem we've found the Crocodile Rod necessary to start up the Crocodile! Now all we need is that diesel fuel to start it up, and we're outta here!
  14. Wait, so a select batch of dimwits are heading towards the farm while the rest of us stays put?! How do you plan on getting to the farm, anyway? Walking?! The truck is out of order and we don't have any other vehicles in the area. In the meantime, however.... ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
  15. Congratulations, mon ami! I'm pleased that you finally have a rank deserving of your hard-working habits. Great job, and keep up the excellent work!
  16. ... You do realize that was a joke, don't you? The use of leet speak was to emphasize the fact that Dano thinks the idea of making Scotsmen is ludicrous. I didn't find the post offensive at all, or at least, I didn't find anything offensive in it. He was just stating his point. But then again, I'm on his side in this matter, so I can't help but speak with a little bias... Either way, he was joking, not trying to sound like an illiterate jerk. On the point of the Venice set, what does that have to do with TLG making Scotsmen? Get off my lawn! I don't disagree that it'd be nice to have a kilt and Braveheart. However, I sincerely doubt that TLG would produce a whole theme or subtheme around a character from a video game, especially a character that will likely have a one-shot appearance.
  17. I agree - especially the "Us against the world" trailer! I'm also highly anticipating Ratchet and Clank Future: A Crack in Time. I don't have a 360, but I'm also awaiting (for Nintendo) Super Mario Galaxy 2, Metroid: Other M ( ), Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box, and Zelda: Spirit Tracks.
  18. I didn't sign. Am I supposed to feel like a jerk now?
  19. I think it's imperative that we check the "X" and the two ripped-off switches. The "X" was obviously drawn for a reason, and the switches didn't get ripped off accidentally. Going to each place is all very well, but perhaps we should consider the what the clues from each place point to?
  20. Wow. I think we're all getting a mite serious about this game. Let's tone it down! I don't want to fight through all this personal nonsense every time I log on. I had thought this thread was for discussion about the game, not how you're being treated in it...
  21. Great ideas, Stroodel. I suggest that perhaps a few images are added to each interview. The pictorial EB News Presents interviews are more popular than the others.
  22. You should take you're own advice - I suggested multiple combinations after he told me "no."
  23. I know we have to retrace our steps, but I'm still wondering if those combinations worked...
  24. Well, whoopie! Now we just have to find a Johnson Rod and a Bracket.
