It is actually a very simple technique. I take advantage of the fact that 1x2 tiles have no bottom tubes. I invented the technique in 2012 when I built these Greek houses. At that time, I had not seen others use this technique. But it would surprise me if I was the first to have figured it out. The Church of St. Michael and St. Constantine is a Russian Orthodox church in Vilnius, Lithuania. It was built in 1913, when Lithuania was a part of the Russian Empire. I visited the church in Vilnius in August 2020. When I came home to Denmark, I built a LEGO model of the church: Here is a photo of the real church in Vilnius:

The Faroe Islands (Føroyar) are a group of islands in the north Atlantic Ocean between Scotland, Norway, and Iceland. The Faroe Islands are a part of the Kingdom of Denmark, but they have their own government. The Faroe Islands also have their own language and their own flag. The Faroe Islands have a total area of about 1,400 square kilometres (540 sq mi) with a population of 52,000. I built this LEGO model for the first LEGO exhibition in the Faroe Islands which took place in the shopping mall SMS in Tórshavn in April 2019. I have previously built a similar map of Denmark: Map of Denmark Vágar is the first port of call for most foreigners travelling to the Faroe Islands, as it is home to the islands’ only airport, Vágar Airport. The island of Vágar has a population of around 3,300. Sandavágur Church is a church in in the town of Sandavágur. It was built in 1917. Tórshavn is the capital and largest city of the Faroe Islands. It has a population of around 20,000. Tórshavn Cathedral is built in 1788. The Magnus Cathedral is a ruined cathedral in the village of Kirkjubøur south of Tórshavn. The Magnus Cathedral was built around year 1300. The ruins are the largest medieval building in the Faroe Islands. Klaksvík is the second largest town in the Faroe Islands with a population around 5,000. Christianskirkjan is a church in Klaksvík. It was built in 1963. Kópakonan is a statue of a sealwoman. It is probably the most famous statue in the Faroe Islands. It is located in the small village of Mikladalur. Mykines is the westernmost of the Faroe Islands. The lighthouse was built in 1909. Suðuroy is the southernmost of the Faroe Islands. Suðuroy has a population of around 4,500. The Salt Silo in Tvøroyri was built in the 1937. It was transformed into a cultural center in 2017. The Smyril Line ferry sails between Denmark and the Faroe Islands. The trip takes approximately 36 hours.

Amazing! This is one of the best modular buildings I have seen.

The model is heavy. But I do not know the exact weight. The model is divided into smaller modules when transported.

Hans Christian Andersen (1805-1875) is probably the most famous Danish author. His fairy tales have been translated into more than 125 languages. This LEGO model contains 24 fairy tales written by Hans Christian Andersen. The LEGO model is built by 3 LEGO fans from Denmark: Anne Mette Vestergård, Helgi Toftegaard and Lasse Vestergård. Amager Resource Center is an incinerator placed in Amager near Copenhagen centrum. The roof of the building is an artificial ski slope, where it will be possible to ski all year round. Amager Resource Center is also known as: ARC, CopenHill and Amager Bakke. The building is designed by the Danish group of architects: Bjarke Ingels Group, often referred to as BIG. The LEGO model is built in scale 1:200. The walls of the building have a very characteristic net structure. I have used around 4000 LEGO Technic liftarms to build this net structure. I’m a part of a group of LEGO fans from different parts of the world who have been building LEGO models of buildings designed by Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG). Some of the buildings (including my model of Amager Resource Center) will be exhibited in LEGO House in Billund from April 20 – May 13, 2018.

LEGO House is an experience house, which opened in 2017. Also known as “Home of the Brick”, the new LEGO House is located in Billund, Denmark, where the LEGO brick was invented. The building is designed by the Danish group of architects: Bjarke Ingels Group, often referred to as BIG. The LEGO model is built in scale 1:100. I built it in autumn 2017. I have used the same colors as the LEGO House Architecture set no. 21037. I’m a part of a group of LEGO fans from different parts of the world who have been building LEGO models of buildings designed by Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG). Some of the buildings (including my model of LEGO House) will be exhibited in LEGO House from April 20 – May 13, 2018.
