  1. is building as usual

  2. When we build our first 1:1 MOC I was 14 years and my mother was 41. Today I'm 17 and my mother is 44.
  3. These MOCs are a bit old. In the spring of 2010 there was a completion at Byggepladen’s website. The rules were: Build a MOC in scale 1:1. Together with my mother I build this MOC for the competition. And we won! The organizers of LEGO World Copenhagen were impressed by the 1:1 MOCs in the competition. Therefore they asked for 1:1 MOCs for next LEGO World. My mother and I wanted to exhibit at LEGO World. Therefore we started building a lot of 1:1 MOCs: Our personal favourite is the bowl with sweet. It has also been blogged by The Brothers Bricks. In February 2011 our MOCs were exhibited at LEGO World Copenhagen. They were a part of a challenge for the visitors. Together with the 1:1 MOCs five non-LEGO items were placed. The visitors should find the five items which not was build out of LEGO bricks. Thousandth of people came and participated in the challenge. Kjeld Kirk Christiansen did also come. In March 2011 my mother builds our last 1:1 MOC. It was a vase with flowers: After that we started building MOCs in other scales. But we are often talking about building some new 1:1 MOCs. One week in November 2010 I was in work experience at the LEGO Idea-House in Billund. It was very interesting. I did also show them some pictures of my 1:1 MOCs. One month ago I received an email from the Idea-House. They remembered my 1:1 MOCs and wanted to exhibit them in their café area. Next Thursday my mother and I are going to deliver our MOCs in Billund.
  4. Very nice MOC. Many good details But why does one of the minifigs at the third picture have a face on the back of his head???
  5. There is a LEGO Store in Copenhagen: http://stores.lego.com/en-us/Copenhagen/LandingPage.aspx But the prices are the same as the Danish Shop@Home. But the LEGO Store is still worth to visit. E.g. you can buy this exclusive key chain: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?G=853305 I'm going to exhibit at the LEGO Fan Weekend and I'm hoping to buy some cheap LEGO there. Last year many of the Danish bricklink dealers were at LEGO Fan Weekend. I think many of them will bee at this years LEGO Fan Weekend too. I (and many other Danish AFOLs) bought this years selection of LEGO sets, when there was 40% discount of LEGO in Bilka in the early August. But sadly there was only discount that week in the early August.
  6. Rare LEGO parts are always interesting. I own some old rare multicolored LEGO bricks from the early 1950s: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=5558741 I have been told, that this bricks were made, when there were changed colors in the molds, and they were sold cheap to the LEGO employees. Today they are very rare to find and very expensive.

    MOC: LEGO Museum

They are not connecting perfect with each other but it is possible to connect them. No, only the few minifigs you can see behind the windows. It's a MOD of set 2011. My duck have less studs and different wheels.
  8. The 10th of August this year the LEGO Group could celebrate their 80 year anniversary. To celebrate the anniversary I build this MOC together with my mother. Before we build the final museum, we build this micro scale model: We are going to exhibit this MOC at LEGO Fan Weekend in Skærbæk in the end of this month. In November we are going to exhibit it at LEGO Fanwelt in Cologne.
  9. Yes, I'm going to exhibit: The Viking Ship Hall in Roskilde and the LEGO Museum.
  10. I build this MOC in September 2011. Last year there was a LEGO architecture competition at LEGO Fan Weekend in Skærbæk. The rules were: Build a LEGO architecture MOC of a landmark from your home town. I’m living in Roskilde in Denmark. So I decided to build Roskilde Cathedral. On September the 21th I got a surprise. My MOC has been blogged by The Brothers Bricks: http://www.brothers-brick.com/2011/09/21/roskilde-domkirke/ In the competition my MOC won the 2nd price. Here is some information about the cathedral:
  11. Very nice MOC. I'm looking forward to see the finished layout.
  12. Nice film. Real horror
  13. Fantastic MOC. The statues are amazing. The boats are also nice build.
  14. Very nice MOC with many good details. The rabbit and the teapots are fantastic
  15. My name is Lasse Vestergård and I come from Denmark. (The home country of LEGO) I’m 17 years old and I have always been a fan of LEGO. I’m very interested in the history of LEGO. I’m collecting old LEGO toys, especially from the 1950s. I do also own some wooden LEGO toys. But the most of time I build MOCs. Maybe somebody already knows me. I’m member of the Danish LUG Byggepladen and the German LUG 1000-Steine. I have participated in around 13 LEGO exhibitions during the last 4½ years including LEGO World in Copenhagen. I have not yet participated in a LEGO exhibition outside Denmark. But in November I’m going to exhibit at LEGO Fanwelt in Germany.
