Posting the photos and build details first, the story comes later Speedchampions Scale Nissan 180sx type S Speed Champions-scale Nissan 180SX Type S. Mismatched body panels. Custom body kit. Built using worn and weathered LEGO parts for a rough, well-used look. Broken taillight (explained in the story and real car photos). Mismatched headlights. Functional pop-up headlights. Opening hood. Detailed turbocharged engine. Sometimes I don’t choose what to build—it chooses me. I’ve been building JDM cars in LEGO for years, and I rarely plan my next project. Usually, I see a car, instantly fall in love with it, and then I just have to recreate it. Back in June, I was lucky enough to visit Japan. On my last night in Tokyo, while walking around Shibuya, I came across this incredible Nissan 180SX. The mismatched body panels, drift style, aggressive body kit... it had so much character that I couldn’t just walk past it. The owner was standing next to it, so I asked if it was his. It was. I told him that I don’t actually own or drive a JDM car, but that I build them in LEGO. We chatted for a while, exchanged Instagram accounts, and right in the middle of our conversation everyone’s phones suddenly went off with an earthquake warning. (Funny enough, I never actually felt the earthquake!) Before leaving, I took a lot of reference photos of his car. He even invited me to a local car meet, but sadly it was my last night in Tokyo and I had to decline. When I got back home, I knew exactly what my next project had to be. This is my recreation of はーと’s 180SX in LEGO Speed Champions scale. I tried to capture every little detail as faithfully as possible. And here’s the promise I made him: I’m going to build two copies. One for my own collection... and one to hand-deliver to はーと the next time I return to Japan. Some cars are more than just cars. Some become memories. Inspired by Drift missile cars No hood. No bumpers. No respect for perfection. Just a chassis built to take hits and keep sliding. Working Pop-ups Front camber dialed. Mismatch wheels, unpainted panel. Twin-turbo swap fully exposed. Intercooler out. Nothing hidden. Full cage. Bucket seats. Hydro locked. NOS ready. This isn’t clean. This isn’t pretty. This is a car you throw sideways without thinking twice, exactly what a real drift missile is about

[MOC] SXRG34 Super Silhouette (Cyberpunk Nissan LBER34 Skyline)
Sérgio posted a topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
Aggressive front camber inspired by drift setups, exposed bodywork with metal plates and visible piping, and silver metallic elements giving it that armored industrial machine feel. A front-mounted exposed intercooler, twin turbo exhausts emerging from the hood, and a headlight replaced by a functional air intake push the performance concept even further. Orange neon accents on the front wheels, visible roll cage, and a rear-mounted intercooler complete this extreme engineering package. The cockpit? Pure Cyberpunk — more machine than car, fully integrated into a digital dystopian control system. -
Thank you so much for the mention, but I can't take full credit, "my nose" was also copied/inspired, the OG designer is @raised

Thank you! LLMTC guys are great! I had a wonderful time with them in Sittard Blind wheels using round 2x2 tiles but they don't move Team Work
-
Thank you! Yes, it moves and can pull a lot. I have a video with the same model (different colors) pulling 10-meter-long (from 1:30min)

Thank you!! Thank you for the kind words :) Thank you so much! Thank you! Thank you!! It has 2 Powerfuntions Train motors (the 3rd axle is fake), the amount of the details is to hide the Train motors :P There is an older version, but this is the OG of this specific type of nose, Nez Cassé = Broken Nose in french In 2023, I attended a private LLMTC event. He took a photo with 15 models. At that time, I only had three “nez cassé”: two electric ones (Orange and Red/White) at the front, and a diesel one (the same model as in this post) at the back, among several European variations, from Raised, Erwin and Nicolas TBX Thank you!. I used regular PF train motors. The pivot is between the 1st and 2nd axle. The 3rd axle is actually fake. It’s one of the best models I have to drive, actually. Here somewhere at 1:30 minutes you can see the Yellow version (same bogies) running and pulling a 10-meter-long train without any issue, I use mostly R104 and above, but this model can turn on R40 curves and switches and can even "drift" :P Regarding the grills, they are both grills and “ladder”-style, and they are only on one side of the locomotive; they are not symmetrical. (Only found Orange Bluprint) And, Yes the Orange is the better one, I don't like this full black Portuguese Medway livery IRL, but I gave it a chance on Lego Form.

Thank you! I have all the Portuguese Nez Cassé models (Electric and Diesel) in every Exsiting Color Schemes. This one is a diesel model from Alstom but built in Portugal on mid 80s The nose is the same design as the NS1600/1800 both based on the French BB7200 Im using the same design/techniques from One of the LLMTC members (Raised)

This LEGO model is my attempt to create as accurate a replica as possible of the Medway 1907 locomotive, part of the Alsthom 1900 series, built at 1:45 scale. The model is fully motorized using LEGO Power Functions with BuWizz and features working LED lights. It is built from roughly 2,000 pieces and weighs around 1.2 kg. This is the third version of this locomotive that I have built. Earlier versions included a test livery (EVA) and a version in the original CP orange and brown colors. Each rebuild allowed me to refine both the appearance and the mechanical layout. This project was created purely for personal enjoyment and learning, with the intention of achieving the closest possible representation while keeping the model fully functional. Kudos to Gerbrand (Raised) for the Nez Cassé nose design that I'm using for the 5th time

This custom LEGO Speed Champions MOC represents the Nissan Silvia S15 LB-Super Silhouette “ATHLETE”, built with a rotary engine setup. Unlike the regular version, this one includes a rear-mounted intercooler, a turbo exhaust outlet on the hood, and rear-exit exhaust pipes. The model is built in 9-wide scale, which made the construction far more complex than the usual 8-wide builds. It features a fully detailed interior with a roll cage and is completely studless for a clean look. Instructions for the base model are available on Rebrickable, and the stickers are from Brick Stickers Shop. This particular version includes unique custom details: LED lights that turn on when approached by a magnet Custom Yokohama Advan tire prints made by Fowartstickers 3D-printed Nismo wheels created by GtCreasCars and hand-painted by me Instructions and stickers are available here

A crazy project I’ve always wanted to build! This fully studless Espace F1 fits four minifigs, features a detailed V10 engine between the rear seats, Simulated rear suspension with F1 springs, and custom 3D-printed wheels made by Brick The Brick— complete with authentic blue nuts on the left and red on the right! It also includes DIY functional LED headlights that switch on and off by magnetic proximity, and custom vinyl stickers designed by a friend of mine and professionally printed by an online printer shop This car was a legend in Gran Turismo 2, so I just had to build it to sit next to my Suzuki Escudo.

Here’s my latest creation — the Mitsuoka Le-Seyde, built with around 300 LEGO pieces in Speed Champions scale! Inspired by the original’s outrageous and theatrical design, this build celebrates one of the most eccentric cars ever made. Fun fact: This car is made from a Nissan Silvia S13 “This is the most inappropriate thing ever made.” -Richard Hammond
