For the ones how want a Lego Pirate-theme clock (and for the newbies who didn't know it excist). Source: e-klocki.com Author: Nori of klocki Do you find it difficult to wake up in the morning? So what would you say if you could connect this dreaded activity with your hobby? Some time ago, a few sets came ou branded by Lego ( „Clic Time” to be specific ) consisting of one large element being an alarm clock mechanism and a few additional bricks. Those sets were generally connected to one of Lego main themes, so there were alarm clocks from Star Wars, Racers, Bionicle, Technic, Belville, Soccer and many others. Being an Adventurers enthusiast myself, I have been searching for a long time (a few years!) for an alarm clock with this theme. A second-hand market was an only possible solution for me as the set was quite old - it came out in 2003. I had been very persistent in my search yet there was no way I could get that set. One time I had bought it on e-bay but the transaction was never finalised as the seller wasn’t willing to send it to Poland. But finally my patience has been rewarded! So what did I get? Whole set is put in an elegant wrapping with cut-outs. Plastic packaging provide excellent protection for elements inside the box. The main part - alarm clock mechanism - is put in a rectangle box which can be used as a regular Lego brick itself. At the front of it there’s a clock face, full of colours and pictures connected of course to the theme of the set. Adventurers’ clock’s hands and numbers are perfectly readable, there’s no way one could commit mistake reading current time. And when you’re in the dark a little built-in light activated with a small button, comes in handy (but how does one find a button in the dark?). At the back there are two knobs - just like regular clocks - one is used to set the current time, while the other sets the time of the alarm. Worth mentioning is a fact that knobs are shaped like gears from Lego Technic. After putting all the parts together one gets a small yet nice looking construction. Perfect for putting next to one’s bed! For more photos of the Adventurers alarm clock visit my gallery, and below are some samples of what else Lego has to offer: Luckily not all Lego Alarm Clocks are as hard to obtain as the one described above. You can easily get most of them at e-bay and BrickLink Or some on ClickTime. Unfortunately not the Pirate one... 8(

Thx Zorro & Bonaparte... it's not that I "realy realy" want those powers to edit titles... but it's handy. But my general concern was that CP willl look stupid if the sub-title says Red coats and the members find ships. Another solution was that I post it first in the shipyard and a member with edit-power post it in the forum.. that was also good for me. But now it's probably easier and less time-consuming for other shipyard-members. One concern I have,... I hope I don't get some title like other shipyard members have and become a member of the staff… this I want to avoid because I want be able to take part at the contests. I'm happy to do this way... just give me at the end of the year a Blue coat set... -
Does somebody already ordered some wigs... or gone do it in the future ?

I made a Ebay auction in the forum with ships, ports & forts and sets (blue coats & red coats). Zorro told me that I must use my old threads,... but because I don't can change the sub-tittle it's gone look silly if the sub-tittle says that it's about blue coats and the members find ships. So I had to make a new one. Another reason why I made a new thread is because I don't have time in the coming days (with other words I could not wait until someone gives me the power to change tittles). And as I promised to make 2 on a week I had to do it now because of my time-limit. I hope you, the staff, can understand this,... because it's done with the best intentions to fulfil my task. -
The inspiration link #2 is dead. Maybe I join this contest... all will depend if I have the time. But an idea I already have...

I voted for 6766/6763 Rapid River Village in despite I don't own a set. And if TLC release the Indian line again I maybe buy it. It depends how the faces gone look... I don't like the design how the look now. But if a new Cowboy line comes out... these I will definitely buy. I only hope that TLC makes beside Yankees also Rebels (or Union & Confederate).

I don't trust it also... but that's what the guy on BL says. If someone would want to buy these, I advice you to first make contact and ask some explanation before buying.

You have a point !!!

When the ship is finished... that's frontpage, no questions about it... I hope you take the pictures with a clean white background... so nobody have to edit it with a background of some tropical paradise... this ship must stand on his own... no diversion !!! IMO

I love the color scheme... but I love Bl/Wh... Keep it up LDD Master.
