  1. Yes I got it. Email It has come to my attention that someone is spoofing our e-mail and website in hopes of obtaining your PayPal login credentials. No actual order has been placed w/ BrickForge. The best thing to do is ignore the e-mail and most certainly do NOT click on Cancel Order - its a trick to get your PayPal login credentials. If you want to verify actually go to https://www.paypal.com and login to see if such a Transaction ID exists. If you did click on Cancel Order I suggest you IMMEDIATELY call PayPal and alert them that your credentials may have been stolen. They will check for suspicious IP logins and change your password.
  2. Sorry didn't know that Nathan Todd = Norro... you cannot know everyone... My source: brothers-brick.com
  3. It's not that nobody don't care.. just do not dig too deep. If you continue follow this way of thinking & questioning - what is you right, don't get me wrong - then in the long run nothing is good anymore. It's simply a stereotype. Male heroes do not weep.
  4. I think that TLC is carefull. A- That's why the still use "the yellow head" instead of taking several dyes of flesh colour to illustrate different races. --> Of course you could say that the yellow head is Chinese. But then we are on a road with no end. B- That's why the "fleshies" will only be used in Licened sets and will never be used in sets like Pirates, Castle,... --> So if TLC get a lawsuit, they only make it for a customer and he is the one to blame at the end of the line. And like Brickadier General said: The aliens are pretty much just pure fantasy. The trolls in the castle line are pure fantasy. The rock monsters in power miners are pure fantasy. They are non-existent races, and of course they're often likely to be portrayed as the "other" in relation to their human counterparts.... ...Now imagine if the baddies in the new space police were labeled Blacktron 3 and were African American/European/etc.. That would be something to be upset about. I can not say it better. Don't forget that Lego is just a toy and in almost every toy it's about good vs. bad. Please don't make a point of this.
  5. I don't know if someone on EB is from Poland (isn't Hippotam from Poland ?)... but if we can believe an old post on http://www.e-klocki.com your not alone that pay a very high prize (if that is an appeasing). In this article they talk about the prices in Polish S@H are 30% to 100% higher than in other European countries. I do not know if it is truth because I have never check it out at S@H. But since it stands on the internet site, and Klocki is a respected site, it will contain some truth I guess. It can of course also be that TLC loaded the Polish S@H with the wrong pricing ! A funny thing: I do not know if someone this still knows but in one of the phases in the establishment of Europe… our lords in their ivory towers then said that in every European country the prices of the products would be the same (food and non-food). I believe it was in 1993. At least that have the Belgian political leaders proclaims on television. In other words if you bought a hamburger at McD in Belgium then this hamburger will have the same price as at McD in France. So also for Lego, Playmobil, Ikea, Chanel, Dior, ect. Up to this day I have not seen much of it.
  6. I don't know if you have this one... unless you call it "StableGirl" If you seperate on "Torso" in Studios there are some different versions. But like many members "Never knew that LEGO had produced so many female minifigs before". Thanks for making the list.
  7. I like the front of the ship,... because something else is used then the traditional mini figurine. Not that I don't like the use of the mini figure but if someone breaks through the stereotype then it deserves for me a "+ point".
  8. Nice build !!! Constructive criticism: I would build the "nose" 1 or 2 bricks longer.
  9. Printing problems/mistakes can happen see 2 different Imperial Guards, both LEGO. Even in a sophisticated factory such as TLC (Galactic Empire Cloning Stormtroopers in Lego Factory).
  10. Keep 'm coming Rriggs!
  11. Very nice... nice technique and part use...
  12. THANKS Captain Green Hair !!!
  13. As we all know, beside the original Lego parts their are also people how make custom Lego-accesoires. Like we have BrickArms, BrickForge, FineClonier, AreaLight, MMCB, Lamanda, Woody64, ect. Regarding the fact that you maybe have an opinion about the use of these not-original-Lego-pieces, let us not talk about this disagreement please !!! After all it's certainly not possible to deny that these people don't deliver excellent work and quality. But let us talk about wigs. I think this hair-piece would fit nice in the periode of our friends the pirates and the aristrocratic community of that period (17 & 18 century). Eventually it has been used in this period by both the pirate, the citizen and the aristrocraat. And could give a beautiful touch in a MOC in my opinion. The problem is, however, that both TLC and the custom online shops do not have these in their range. At the moment Woody64 (Andreas) is the only one that is busy making a wig but this wig is not yet a finished product. Correct me if I'm wrong Woody64 but I thought that there were still problems with the tail and the bow tie ?!? For this reason my question: Would the wig for you also be a beautiful "acquisition" for the mini-figure ? Maybe a CP-mod. can make a poll with a yes and a no option ? Thx in advance !!! I have also googled some wigs of that period. Which, according to me, can be a subject to a simplified design. Some examples: FEMALE Some examples: MALE For the older men: What is you think ? Thanks for you time and answer ! Grtz, Kurt
  14. The hair-pieces are maybe good inspiration for Arealight. I find the Winehouse hair-piece gorgeous.
  15. Don't forget this one... another one I hate... but brasso it and you can put a new face on it...

  17. This technic is from Nathan Todd... and it's a nice solution for round towers.
  18. Overused I really hate this one Bad Worst All the heads from the Martian stes Best I love all the heads with the twinkle in the eyes ... Best extra
  19. Space is my favorite theme (I grew up with it in my childhood-days), followed by Pirates, and as third Castle. Never was a fan of City/Town or trains... I don't know really why but I think it's just because I find it so limited in fanatsy. Said with all respect for the City/Town & train lovers...
  20. This was my first post... in now called "Pirate MOC's"... and I didn't know what an impulse set was at that time...
