Which Official Pirate LEGO Sets Do You Have?
Capt. Kirk replied to Mister Phes's topic in LEGO Pirates
They are all intact... if I build them again... I only bought them for the 3 blue coats, canon, small boat and palm tree. -
Were these real LEGO adverts?
Capt. Kirk replied to Minifig Lecturer's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I agree,... you just have to keep an open mind in things like this and understand the concept. Of course some will not like them because it's against their religion or whatever. But these days some people use to much 'their religion or believe' as a shield to disagree with what is showed. Then you better gone live on an island in the middle of the ocean IMO. -

Which Official Pirate LEGO Sets Do You Have?
Capt. Kirk replied to Mister Phes's topic in LEGO Pirates
Because I'm not the Classic-Pirates collector,... I have only 6265 Sabre Island (x12), 6285 Black Seas Barracuda and all the Islanders sets (just for the minifigures). But I have the hole Classic-Space & Futuron line in triple... But the new Pirate-wave I gone buy... -
Better buy a lot of them because I think the fish gone cost some money in the future. I you look now at the food list on bricklink... haloa !!! Some parts are expensive !!! By the way thanks for the review WhiteFang...

I agree with SlyOlw about the minifigure face... I would be an improvement. But overall you did a fine job and good luck !!!

My entry for the Captain's Cabin Contest
Capt. Kirk replied to Captain Blackmoor's topic in Pirate MOCs
You made some really great improvements to your moc. Just work on the pictures... use 2 or 3 lightsources and take also pictures on a 45° angle. Good luck !!! -
Looks good, toutouille, nice job. But like others mentioned before: the shark along with the expression on the minifig's heads. I hope you find a solution and I wish you good luck !
-
Nice wip so far with nice details... Maybe if you have the time you could add a second level (above or under). And maybe use a mini figure... always gives a extra touch. But it's still in WIP fase so I looking forward to the end result. Good luck !!!
-
The real action is very nice and gives it an extra touch... Maybe try to make 2 leves... with a bed, a staircase, ect... I think this wil give you more chance to win. Good luck !!!
-
Like Zorro said: It's huge... but it looks great. And I wish you the best for the rest of the ship... it's gonna be awesome I think. Keep building !!!
-
Thank you for showing but what parts you used,... but is it possible to give a link to Bricklink ? Just talking about the cilinder part.
-
So much action going on, and some beautifully creative effects (the cannon fire, for example). Really well done SlyOwl !!! And like Andrew said on BrotherBrick and I quote: what impresses me most about this pirate diorama is the base: The angled water with flotsam and jetsam in the foreground meshes neatly with the dock in the background. I only can agree with this... Edit: bye bye citizen,... welcome knight...

Master eBay Auctions thread - post noteworthy auctions here
Capt. Kirk replied to interstellar's topic in LEGO Pirates
Just put another auction online... with "Pirate sets and mini figures". I noticed that it is placed in MOC's... because I use an old thread and I made the mistake then. If some one could move it to the forum... thx !!! -

New auction online... happy bidding !!! -
Another question: They also introduced a character known as Captain Foul who commanded the ship “The Barracuda”, however the captain or ship did not appear in any of the official Pirate Lego sets. Can somebody give some scans if he's in the book 'Adventure on Shark Island'. I never saw the books my self (not the inside). Extra info,... for the newbies... You can buy them on Amazon... cheap stuff !!! Will and the Gold Chase - Synopsis: When Camilla loses her beautiful gold pendant, she is so upset that her uncle, Governor Broadside offers a reward. Captain Roger's Birthday - Synopsis: It's the Captain's birthday and Will plans a surprise party. Adventure on Shark Island - Synopsis: As revenge for playing a trick on him, Captain Foul captures pirate Anne and holds her prisoner on board the Barracuda, somewhere off Shark Island. Will comes up with a plan and sets off with Jimbo and Spinoza to rescue Anne but they come back with more than they bargained for! The Royal Visit - Synopsis: The king is coming on a state visit and Governor Broadside loses his badge of office- a serious offence! The governor could lose his job or even his head! So the pirates give up pirating for a while and mount a search for the missing badge. No one has any success, until Will has an idea. Characters Broadside's Family: Aunt Prudence Camilla Governor Broadside Dark Shark Crew: Anne Bo'Sun Will Captain Roger (known as Captain Redbeard in Northern America) Flashfork First Mate Rummy Jimbo Popsy (the parrot) Spinoza (the monkey) Islands Black Reef Island Emerald Island Hook Nose Island Island of Fogs Island of Ruins Island of Skulls John Silver Island Pirate Hat Island Pirate’s Nest Sabatina Shark Island Skeleton Island

Through the use of a narrow base "evildead" reinforces the effect of the distance. You can say it's an optical illusion but well used here...

Funny Video... like the Blue Coat that comes in the picture for a few seconds... Also good voices... maybe put some funny tune on the background at the start and the end... nice work Genaral armendariz.

Welcome to Eurobricks...

I had just gotten back into LEGO after many many dark years, and was looking for a good on-line community. One of the first I stumbled on was Belug witch I joined for a little year. But it wasn't my cup of tea and then found Classic-Pirates (one of the many good sub-forums of EB). After visiting I decided to join Classic-Pirates and discovered that it was part of one big community called "Eurobricks" and here I'm.
