  1. Looks like a fairy tale carriage... but I like it.
  2. Very nice Mister Wellington... love the chaotic touch. Constructive criticism -- If possible try to make your photos better and bigger. -- If possible you could make the gate more higher so it looks more like the real thing.
  3. This is real impressive...
  4. As far as I know... no.
  5. Thx guys !!!
  6. This is my first attempt to create some decals and it's not in the classic way to show them,... in know. But when I was making them I got another idea --> I want to sell them as a poster (maybe with a decal paper as extra). I think this has never been done before and I think it could be a nice concept. So if there are some people how are intrested,... just let me know The torsos are based on classic torsos from 1978-79... because I want to create some kind of vintage look (1930-1940). My choice for this look is because I think it looks nice with zombies/living dead. Anyway what do you think of the idea and the designes... C&C is welcome !!!
  7. --> Welcome to Eurobricks and CP.com... --> Most and if not all of the members see the Blue Coats as The French and the Red Coats as The British. --> If you gone use them as two seperate units in one army,... from time to time someone will notices that it's not "correct". --> But everybody is free to do what he/she want with his/her minifigures (even painting, burning, ect). --> By the way1 - you can also use decals to create diff. units... more information you find here. --> By the way2 - there is also a Index Armies... one of the mods will maybe add your army in this topic. --> By the way3 - if you want to use a sig. banner you can find them here or you can create your own one (just don't oversize it please).
  8. I would say yes because... see picture. Check out brickmodder.net.
  9. The banners are replace to another server... sorry guys. In the first post you can find them again and this time they will stay where they are. Once again... sorry !!!
  10. Nice ship with cool details (anchor, ropes, ect)... Constructive criticism --> Maybe you can make the cabin a little smaller. --> Maybe you can put some yellow accents over the ship (you have it in the front but not in the middle or the back). --> Maybe you could make the middle section straight (like Capt.Green Hair said; it looks like something heavy fell on it and it got dented). I hope to see more of you in the future.
  11. --> Of course I'm right... ... just joking. --> There is a small clear border but I understand the confusion. --> The confusion is caused because in that periode some old architecture styles are re-introduced (the Neo-styles). --> The confusion is also caused by the fact that more rich people went abroad and saw other architecture styles and wanted their houses build like this (or with the influence of it). This means that it is possible that you see a building in Italian Roccoco in France. --> That's correct... every country has another style. --> But because of this their is a line. Baroque Architecture 1600 to 1830 AD In Italy, the Baroque style is reflected in opulent and dramatic churches with irregular shapes and extravagant ornamentation. In France, the highly ornamented Baroque style combines with Classical restraint. Russian aristorcrats were impressed by Versailles in France, and incorporated Baroque ideas in the building of St. Petersburg. Elements of the elaborate Baroque style are found throughout Europe. Rococo Architecture 1650 to 1790 AD During the last phase of the Baroque period, builders constructed elegant white buildings with sweeping curves. American Colonial Architecture 1600 to 1780 AD European settlers in the New World borrowed ideas from their homelands to create their own breed of architecture. Georgian Architecture 1720 to 1800 AD Georgian was a stately, symmetrical style that dominated in Great Britain and Ireland and influenced building styles in the American colonies. Neoclassical / Federalist / Idealist (a Neo-style) 1730 to 1925 AD A renewed interest in ideas of Renaissance architect Andrea Palladio inspired a return of classical shapes in Europe, Great Britain and the United States. Greek Revival Architecture (a Neo-style) 1790 to 1850 AD These classical buildings and homes often feature columns, pediments and other details inspired by Greek forms. Antebellum homes in the American south were often built in the Greek Revival style. Victorian Architecture 1840 to 1900 AD Industrialization brought many innovations in architecture. Victorian styles include Gothic Revival, Italianate, Stick, Eastlake, Queen Anne, Romanesque and Second Empire. Arts and Crafts Movement in Architecture 1860 to 1900 AD Arts and Crafts was a late 19th-century backlash against the forces of industrialization. The Arts and Crafts movement revived an interest in handicrafts and sought a spiritual connection with the surrounding environment, both natural and manmade. The Craftsman Bungalow evolved from the Arts and Crafts movement. ... --> Your opinion is well based... --> This will play also a role in the fact that I doesn't look that pirate (nevertheless for me).
  12. Congratulations to the winners! And thanks to all the others to join the contest. Hope we see you all back with the next one...

  18. --> If you give TLC an idea what do you think you gone say afterwards when TLC use it... hé it's my idea. --> It's not that simple to claim your rights on "an idea"... is rather vague. --> Even if you have the design, dimensions of the design, ect on paper. --> Don't forget & most important... you using TLC parts for your design and who ownes this right. --> Why some of you think this has something to do with royalties ect ? --> Otherwise Playmobil can accuse TLC because they also have a pirate line and use also a ship ect. --> With other words your history before you enter the court. --> Said with no offence but a simple logic deserves a simple answer. --> So if you have 100 consumers and 10 consumers ask for something... you gone make it ? --> Example: if 100 people on the world want a Lego whale... TLC must make it ? --> That's not how it works. --> Their are 2 ways of selling a produckt: 1) you create the market... but that's a gamble of failure or success. 2) you give what the market want... but the demand must be reasonable to make profit.
  19. And how is it going ???
  20. What you got already ? Because otherwise many of use can say something... like a giant shark eating the ship or mermaids sing the crew to death. But if you can't use it what's the point. You understand what I trying to say?
  21. You need to take different picture angles so we can see everything better! Is this possible because it all looks very nice.
  22. I realy need to make time to order some stuff...
  23. A very nice moc, nice colours scheme (although the name HMS Bumblebee did me immediately think of Neo-Classic Space because here the 3 coloured lines - yellow, black, yellow - are also called this way and a must to use. But like Guss said: it's hard to put details of an inside in a so little ship... you did very well...
  24. --> I agree with SlyOwl on this point and IMO they look to muscular. --> But nevertheless is a very nice moc and keep them coming...
