  1. --> How wouldn't... good luck Captain Green Hair!
  2. Great build SlyOwl with a lot of nice things in it...
  3. You can make a moc with them... you have most of it already. Something like a moc "Colonial soldiers vs. Indians". Like the "French and Indian War". Your fort would fit in perfect... that's the type of fort they use in that periode. You only have to build the surroundings. Love to see this. By the way it's one of my next moc also.
  4. --> If we can help we do it. --> I can't smell anything...
  5. --> IMO lot of rebuilding would be necessary to give it a pirate look. This doesn't mean I don't like the moc itself... please Commodore Hornbricker don't understand me wrong. But don't forget the the golden age of piracy is from roughly 1570 until 1780. So every architectural style after 1780 is not realy the right one and no more realistic and historic accurate. --> After 1800 most pirates where history because the Royal fleets became too big and a new way of getting money was found... slavery.
  6. You have to use this. In the subforum Minifig Customisation Workshop you find most of the information you want... link
  7. --> I respect your opinion... NP. --> But sometimes when you want to have the atmosphere of a certain periode in a moc you have to respect some things. Like the golden age of Piracy is from 1570 until roughly 1800. So every architecture you use that isn't realy from this periode will feel not realy correct when you show it. For me personaly the style you use is better fit for some mafia or Victorian moc. Said with all respect... don't understand me wrong please. --> Sorry that I have to correct this but some buildings in the colonial Carribbean where great buildings. In particular the communion houses where 10-20 families lived under 1 roof. --> London around the early 1800 would look different then you thought. --> Some examples (common man): For the rich and famous,... it would look more like this: Or like this (early Victorian style)... but then we talk already of 1810 & later and bye bye Piracy where we talk about.
  8. Said with all respect Cap'n Blackmoor but that isn't realy the style of 1800. It's more the architecture of the late 18th century and the early 19th century. For example like The Alhambra Apartments (by architect Montrose W. Morris). Some thing like this is more 17-18th architecture (painting by Gustave Bauernfeind). Or more colonial architecture style for that time (17-18th century).
  9. It's got a colonial feel and the colour use is nice... Although some things are IMO a little weird in comparison with historical correctness , like the 1x4x3 panel. Not that I can't be used but the design is maybe too modern. But over all great build.
  10. Very nice work... Although it's not realy a building style of the 16-17-18 century.
  11. Nice one... like the weapons you used from Brickarms.
  12. More sig. banners at click (free to use).
  13. Holy "canon" smoke !!!...
  14. Nice one... do you gone use it in a diorama (something post-apocalyptic perhaps ?!).
  15. --> Now I do... but I'm in Italy at the moment... damn. --> Thx !!!
  16. --> No I don't have a Lego Dog... maybe weird but it's the truth. --> That would be very nice... if possible one in a dark color (no gray). Thx Holodoc.
  17. --> Yes they're nice and useful. --> Everything that I can use in that certain moc... too many TLC products to say. --> Some go and some don't go... you must always look at the clothing style of that periode (16-17-18 century). --> IMO if you don't use the correct minifigs in a moc... the presentation of the moc loses his value. --> I agree with that. --> The original Islanders are more a savage type for me. --> No... to big in comparison with the minifig. --> I don't say I will never use them... but only with a good reason (see second question).
  18. --> They just look around what is popular (at other toy companies or movies or ...). --> Not so hard to do... the product itself is another story. --> I can only agree with this. --> Once again I agree fully.
  19. Please please please please don't use these minifigs. It's Lego and well found of mijasper... but they absolutely don't go with the other minifigs IMO. Please think it over Green Hair.
  20. I find your reply very hard... Because customer service representative does not make these kind of decisions... she is just doing her job. Don't forget that TLC is a international company... this means that they do what they want at the end. I don't say TLC don't listen to the customers but at second place or maybe third place. At the end it's all about money... never forget this because TLC isn't a benevolences institution. Also don't forget that in 2003-2004 TLC made the wrong choices. Because of the fact that they spend more money in side-products (t-shirts, moks, ect). The reason for this... they didn't realy listen to the customers (I only can hope that they learned their lesson). But we have the Ambassador program now.
  21. Any Pirate sets in sale Holodoc ???
  22. --> I will bring my pirate dog with me... is that OK... --> Seriously I find it a good idea Dieter, but I have no sigfig... so I must pass for this I guess... sorry Dieter. Option: --> Or if there is someone who has a "lego dog" and is so kind to bring it with him... then is the problem fix.
  23. Thx Matn,...much appreciated. The orginele idea was different and IMO better and I regret that I could not have made this idea. But like I said in my first post because of problems with BL-shop I had to come up with another idea. It's possible that I build this idea in the future for the Neo-Classic-Space project... but first I gone build a Pirate moc...
  24. Thanks General Armendariz & KimT for the positive vibes... much appreciated.
