It has been carved out of the rock (like a lot of the MOC). God Bless, Nathan -
I knew it was one of the sets from that wave but couldn't think which of the y... God Bless, Nathan

No wonder I kept coming across stuff I had seen on my epic journey of catching up on MOCs. Has the date order been sacrificed as a consequence or am I missing some fancy-computer-literate-person-trick? Thanks and God Bless, Nathan

Hey all, Since it'll take me an age to edit the pics of my latest MOC and I'm excited to be back online I thought I would share an idea featured in it. It is a sheath made from a viking horn, here it is in the MOC: and here it is from a more convincing angle: I think it compliments the small dagger very well. As always comments are appreciated, God Bless, Nathan

Don't care for the monsters, and the landscaping isn't my faviourite... But that is one nice plane! God Bless, Nathan

Thanks all! Excellent pt. (which I probably should have made...) God Bless, Nathan

is this the "best MOC ever" that you were referring to in your "community" thread ???the one that require some photo editing ??? 8- -
I particularly like those rare new-brown flower stems as decoration in the bottom right corner... God Bless, Nathan

Just like the SES... God Bless, Nathan

I am also sure we had a similar thread. But anyway: We had just watched Zorro, and given my tendancy for legendary exploits ( ;-) ) Someone scrunched 'Zorro' and 'Nathan' together to form 'Norro'. I like it and have yet to find it taken in the lego world... Unlike the rest of you I don't get much further online... God Bless, Nathan

Many of the old sets (castle and pirate) hinged open and so could be closed... where they did not they were closed with a low back wall, examples include: Royal Knight's Castle, King's Mountain Fortress, and Fort Legoredo to name a few... Ahh the good old days ; ) God Bless, Nathan

Sorry if this has been posted, didn't notice it in my catch up... The Lugnet Post, and the brilliant gallery. I enjoyed it! God Bless, Nathan

Sort of an Inquisition question when you phrase it like that isn't it.... X-D But, yes it is! God Bless, Nathan

Back in faithful service after a long absence, expect a little more regularity in the future... 6035 Castle Guard Year: 1987 Elements: 49 Figs: 2 list Price: $5.75 (USD) Lugnet score (out of 100): A solid 82 Review #: 9 Resources: -Comments left on Lugnet -Building instructions and Set inventory from Peeron The Thoughts of the boomeranging Norro: ...in under a word per brick... An interesting little set, with playability, rare pieces, accessories galore, and the mystery of two box sizes. It was the red octagon that made me buy this set (years after its release) but the mysterious black knight is also a cool inclusion and many time winner of the 'most deserved a black sword' from AFOLs the world over. A black saddle and a few more grey pieces would also be nice but this set maintains a charm of its own... Guest Minifig Comments: Yes, I am the guard. Trouble is: I don't know what I'm guarding, no chest, jewel, not even a cruddy barrel with a few 1x1 yellow dots in it... Nothing! Yet no sooner am I told to guard this place than a black knight shows up, sure he has a falcon shield, but what kid will notice that when he only has the two figures in this set, and who do you think will always win this little encounter?! I am shaking and I have no where to hide, not even a wall to crouch behind... "Take the rare roof, take it!" It's So Great I Must Have It Now: -On Bricklink -Or some non-lego specific site no one has ever heard of...

Very nice fleet pictures find...and thanks for the new word Phes! I'll use with care... God Bless, Nathan

Can someone just confirm some Catalogue queries?
Norro replied to The Commodore's topic in LEGO Pirates
I have quite a few of the mid-sized mags (from Europe and the US) and although I also remember some UK magazine versions by and large lego only issued an 'EU' version (look at the serial # in the corner). A quick check of mine backs up Peeron (though in English because they were obtained in the UK/Ireland). I think the slightly larger 'square' magazines available from Toys R Us in the UK throughout the 90s were individual, and due to more space often featured older sets... this is most likely what you remember, though I can't confirm it without my own collection (of only 4 or 5) which is at home, not Uni... Interesting all the same, God Bless, Nathan -
Interestingly from this map label of Foul's 'Barracuda' and Roger's/RedBeard's 'Dark Shark' that both were made by lego (SES was also called the Dark Shark, and BSB speaks for itself) though with reversed colour schemes and all captained by Red Beard... Any insight MisterPhes? Thanks for sharing and God Bless, Nathan

Historic MOCs/Themes Inspired by Movies
Norro replied to WesternOutlaw's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
A very small element of Last of the Mohicans has crept into my latest MOC... I had been toying with several versions of the idea and the movie convinced me which was best, though someone else may not notice it at all... God Bless, Nathan -

Wild West: Ghost Town Images "leaked" (UPDATED #3)
Norro replied to Brick Miner's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
I think everybody knows I'm not so in to the ghosts/fantasy of lego but that doesn't stop me smiling at this, and especially the minifig's torso. What great work! Thanks for leaking and God Bless, Nathan -
Much Thanks all! Sniff, I'm all emotional ; )... God Bless, Nathan
