  1. I would have given this my vote... It was an awsome set in it's own right, had several excellent castle pieces, and contained those vine corner wall pieces... Came in a cool treasure chest shaped box which I no longer have... God Bless, Nathan
  2. It's because he's a pirate captain... The mate does it all while he sleeps... God Bless, Norro
  3. Thanks! But it is the second sail that makes the other row boat more likely to tip :) and better looking to boot... God Bless, Nathan
  4. Strategy board games is a habit I picked up in Canada. When it was -50 (celsius :oo ) and we were snowed in (or in that case there was a freeze warning) me and friends would all go get stuck at some house together and play axis and allies to the death ;) . Occassionaly we would settle for Serinnissama (I can't remember how to speel it in the slightest).... A and A anyone? God Bless, Nathan
  5. With the front piece? Norro
  6. I'm not really an Islander fan... So Enchanted Island wins for having the best parts for other stufff.... Gotta love that black row boat sail. God Bless, Norro ;)
  7. I'll trade you, the 3 rereleases for one old box :-D God Bless, Nathan
  8. Just left the important bit... ;) Good to have another Castle fan. I welcome you from my accumulated Eurobricks experience of...oh...22 hours easily :-D . God Bless, Nathan (Norro)
  9. Pic = link I'm assuming this desert outpost of the armarda, though those aren't castle figs... :-D God Bless, Nathan
  10. Hey, had to vote for pirates (as a loyal sutcliff reader) and I just watched the aptly named movie last night... I think it is also safe to assume all the 'equal' voters prefer Pirate and were just trying to be polite :-D . If a pirate is 'a person who attacks and robs ships at sea' (oxford dict.) and vikings (generally) did their plundering on land merely escaping by sea... I'd have to guess they're different. Though the viking may just be a less sophisticated pirate due to boat limitations. Viking as a lego line is doomed to be in new brown, grey etc. so can never match up to Pirate... God Bless, Nathan
  11. They rated the rerelease higher... and that box wasn't nearly as good... God Bless, Nathan
  12. Ninja was never my fav... and now I can't think of the sets without kicking myself for not getting tons more copies of 6045 and 3053. I think I was always bothered by too many of the actual ninja figs. The brown base plates remain one of the best things ever made though... God Bless, Nathan
  13. If your service is as fast as your posted replys I think you could have a good business going :) ... God Bless, Nathan
  14. Had to be the CC, I mean size *is* important... Not to mention its superior crew and all round feel. Though if you went only on colour the armada flagship would steal in there. Lugnet users give the CC 83/100 , the Imperial Flagship 83/100 , and the Armarda Flagship 80/100 for the rerelease and 72/100 for the original (go figure). So I guess my vote is the tie-break... ;) God Bless, Nathan (who is shocked by the broadside of pirate content when Castle enjoys pride of place in the forum title |-/ ...
  15. Hey, nice work, now I need one for castle.... ;) God Bless, Nathan
  16. Hey all, Thanks for the welcome :-D ! God Bless, Nathan
  17. Hi, A quick note of introduction as I arrive... My name is Nathan Todd (Norro on classic-castle) I'm a lego fan (stating the obvious...) who frequents Lugnet, esp. .Castle... and, of course, classic-castle. I build mainly Castle with the odd pirate, aquazone, or western for relief. I'm a member of the greatest empire of all time (the Irish!) and represent them all over the globe (so if I'm offline for a while I'm just relocating...). Anything else? Oh yeah, here's my brickshelf gallery: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?m=Nan Thanks for looking and God Bless, Nathan
  18. Hi all, First post here... I've been waiting to jump in for a while and saw this quiz and thought 'hey'... I'm a castle fan (sometimes lured into pirate or even further...) and proud to report an 84% (bows). Alas I have no special MOC for the occassion but my brickshelf gallery shows my style: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?m=Nan Hope to be around fairly often, if not you can usually hunt me up on Lugnet (esp .Castle) and Classic-Castle... Ohh almost forgot: I'm Irish (and so of vital importance to euro-anything : ) but of the wandering sort so you'll hear of me from all over. God Bless, Nathan Todd aka The Lengendary Norro
