For all three, plus 1.50 shipping... God Bless, Nathan

I wouldn't be that harsh Hobbes, the british education system is in free fall, it takes far less nerd like ability to get an A these days... The Irish Leaving Certificate is also in decline, recently we allowed calculators for the maths exams... X-D Nathan (don't mind a bit of local pride)

They were 6.50 pounds, not great but considering one was boxed... God Bless, Nathan

I can't find a pic anywhere, which is odd considering it seems to be the most readily available of the old posters. Unfortunately there is no good database online... So here is a low quality pic I took to give the idea: God Bless, Nathan

We should make this a standing rule... God Bless, Nathan

I agree, but not only can I not afford to, it would also ruin some of the look slightly... We discussed my most treasured pirate poster in this thread. But I also have the standard islander one... God Bless, Nathan

It is all ready gone... Thanks again for your comments all, they mean a lot to me! God Bless, Nathan

That is really taking the yellow castle up a notch. And the non-classic faces are a brilliant addition. Nice find! God Bless, Nathan

A vast improvement, and I quite like the first one. The tower works nicely (even though I normally don't like grey imperial structures, the boathouse is nice, and the blue/yellow building is very pretty. Great work! God Bless, Nathan

On a similar vein: I often feel the preservation vs use debate with my lego poster collection (collection being too strong a word :-D ). I like to grab a lego poster every time I see one I don't have for a good price, and I hang them on my walls, they fade, are taped/blue tacked/ etc but I would rather enjoy them than store them... God Bless, Nathan

I'm not sure... I just picked up this nice lot for a decent price... God Bless, Nathan

I like the Lagoon Lockup feel, and I love that crane! What a great piece of building, so simple and yet very ingenious, I'm going to have to play around with a crane design myself now... I also like the relative positioning of the docks and the fig selection. Good work! God Bless, Nathan

It has a relatively small amount so that I could buy the legend and not complain...too much :-D God Bless, Nathan

At it's broadest it is approximately 100 x 60 studs, no too large, not too small... ;-) God Bless, Nathan

I really strove for a MOC that exuded the fact that it was its own world (several alterations were made to improve this) and also allowed you to look in and 'feel' its atmosphere. I am so pleased this came across!! Depth is what it was all about... Thanks again and God Bless, Nathan

Nice review, sorry I missed it at the time. I remember getting this set long ago..good times X-D ... And this would make a great legend because of the lack of bley... God Bless, Nathan

LOL! God Bless, Nathan

That is my favourite view of the model as well Phes, and the one planning began from, glad you like it! And yes I have posted it at CC, I can't deny my castle roots X-D ... God Bless, Nathan

That's very generous of you, why don't you stand on that beach and I'll shout the location of the used sets back to you from the deck of your ship? God Bless, Nathan (who did like POC1)

Wow, thanks all for your kind words! A sonnet really sets the mood well... and it is great to see you time warping Ultraprime... God Bless, Nathan

LEGO Islander MOCs - Got one? found one? Post it here
Norro replied to KAHUKA's topic in Pirate MOCs
Now an uncrushed MISB version of that would probably not exist in large quantities, there are probably only thousands left X-D X-D :-P ... God Bless, Nathan (who opened a MISB version of this... when it first came out :-D ) -

I'm still not much of an Islanders fan but I like that scene you created. Very part efficient. Good work! God Bless, Nathan -
I've been admiring this beautiful MOC for a while now, I love the tan snot, the subtle curves, the sleek look, and the relative size/scale of the whole model. Great work, you are really tempting me into the ship market... God Bless, Nathan

Thanks much!!! The 'worn' look was planned from the beginning and the whole structure was built up to mirror that... @Mister Phes: This took around 4 months of light work (I was very busy during it's construction so it probably shouldn't have taken quite so long...) @007: The time period is intended to be a blend to help create more of a 'legend' feel rather than just history... @Bonaparte: Thanks for the time investment, I'm honored! @Starwars4J: I'll take a look through the extra pics and see what I can find. @Gyl: Thanks! In hindsight I trailed this too early ;-) I am glad you liked the rafters, they are my faviourite detail and would probably go down as the hardest to build as well (although they would be easy to do now that I've done it once...) Thanks again all! Your comments keep me building when I should be doing other things X-D . God Bless, Nathan
