  4. Kind of funky. Thanks for posting this! God Bless, Nathan
  5. While I agree the US is the anomaly (as opposed to a high price in Europe). I wouldn't describe it as 'artificial'. A variety of market forces work in the favour of the US consumer, they are not subsidized. God Bless, Nathan
  6. Ahh, thanks! And it looks so much better in that pic! God Bless, Nathan
  7. Must have missed this thread, sorry. Hey and welcome anyway! God Bless, Nathan
  8. True, but sales tax in the states is between 4 and 6% (in my limited experience), very different from our 17-19%... God Bless, Nathan
  9. I'm not a huge fan of the yellow, but still interesting. Is the yellow lion sculpture piece another of those unreleased pieces? God Bless, Nathan
  10. A nice wee ship thanks for posting it! God Bless, Nathan BTW just saw the imperial banner or the first time, very nice!
  11. The parts could also come from Legoland or pick a brick (some I recently received were still in a pick a brick bag). Also I would be surprised if those parted out sets were bought at near full retail... Another factor is that many BL sellers are themselves hobbyists after specific pieces and trying to recoup costs, not make a profit. God Bless, Nathan
  12. Hey and Welcome! Surely by city you mean castle...? ;-) God Bless, Nathan
  13. I wasn't aware that torso was so affordable, I don't have even one yet... Thanks for sharing and God Bless, Nathan
  14. I particularly like the built up base the model sits on and the falling shingles, a nice MOC. Thanks for pointing this out. God Bless, Nathan
  15. Great work! It is nice to see all those MOCs in such a convenient way! God Bless, Nathan
  16. A C Pin (and son) is active on Lugnet and CC, if you search either you'll see lots of these MOCs posted with building details etc... Far more interesting is the fact that he also builds castle... X-D God Bless, Nathan
  17. I'll add another yes voice! If possible could the list be broken up by size or type as 'land based is very comprehensive? Thanks and God Bless, Nathan
  18. Hey and welcome! God Bless, Nathan
  19. My faviourite detail (of this nice MOC) is the use of the musket instead of the rifle. It really sets the era nicely! God Bless, Nathan
  20. I'd love to see that in lego! A very nice solution. I an remember building a hideout for my western gang out of rocks when I was young... God Bless, Nathan
  21. I'm not a big fan of the knight (although I like the non-heroic aspect), but the stands are beautiful! Great work and God Bless, Nathan
  22. Definately shows your customary flare! I was going for jumping beans... Now I have to think up a related MOC... X-D God Bless, Nathan
  23. I am just picturing myself living by this rule, and hiding in some remote location... X-D God Bless, Nathan BTW the custom displays are normally made by LUGs, you see the announcements on Lugnet fairly frequently. The parts belong to the members and the display is returned.
  24. Well TT and Mile85 I also got stuck with an odd result: God Bless, Nathan
  25. That's a nice trebuchet I haven't seen before. Thanks for posting it! God Bless, Nathan
