Wait, I forgot to ask if you build Castle? X-D X-D God Bless, Nathan

The sculpting of the ship is very good. But grey will always be stone, or at the least metal to me, so a grey ship seems a little strange, I think I would prefer it in any 'painted' colour... That said it is still an excellent MOC. God Bless, Nathan

Your Brickshelf has a lot of interesting content, well done! God Bless, Nathan

That's a pretty standard procedure in a lot of industries to my knowledge...Still fascinating though ;-) God Bless, Nathan

Hello and welcome, Your english is very good so don't worry. God Bless, Nathan

Town & Train Newbie - been meaning to sign up for a while...

Hey and welcome! The layout is nice. I once, briefly, too long ago to admit to... made a small town layout with a few MOCs. But now I have come to realize that castle is the one true theme, and you can still use the pieces ;-) ... God Bless, Nathan -
Very impressive... for space! X-D God Bless, Nathan

I was thinking Castle (Generously expanded to H and A ;-) X-D ) as that is all I can claim to have in any way closely scanned.... A pirate version of the thread would also be interesting, or just lump them in here! I was just looking for a nice collection of inspirational MOCs contributed from different perspectives... God Bless, Nathan

Very nice! The staunch squareness gives this a brilliant 'fortified' air and the MOC itself is impressive in scale. I like it a lot! God Bless, Nathan

Thanks much Mister Phes! I appreciate the inclusion! God Bless, Nathan

I saw the space recollection entry on TBB and thought a castle (all right, any history or adventure) summary would be great as well. So please post your faviourite(s) MOC(s) from 06 (and name the builder if possible)... So here are mine: [pics are links, (aliases) are CC usernames] Faviourite Castle: Stoneguard Hold by John Langrish (J1A3L5) Faviourite Medium MOC: Rope Bridge by P J Bosman (pj_bosman) Faviourite Small MOC: Sampan by (sir lomero) Faviourite Non-castle MOC: Octan Refinery by Mark J Stafford Also Note Worthy: 'New(ish) buildings' by Jonathan Lopes Meant to do this around new years, but I've been sorting lego ; ) Anyway please share your nominations/faviourites/memorable MOCs of 06! God Bless, Nathan

I noticed the poster i the background of the latest entry in this thread. Haven't seen it before... Anyone know when/where it originated? God Bless, Nathan

For example when a massive pile of recently destroyed SW sets were dumped in front of said focus group and they were asked why they couldn't enjoy them once the model was gone... They replied that the material was too specific and all they had were SW accessories, also the pile was overwhelmingly grey... Result: one positive, bright coloured creator with multiple instructions, one world-ending negative as the interviewer latched onto the word 'grey' and decided that rather than changing the set composition, it would be better to change the shade, because a huge pile of luminous bluish grey is so much more inspiring... rant over... God Bless, Nathan (who has often pictured and lamented this conversation taking place within TLC)...

How recently? :-D :-D Seriously, I now want a copy of this set... God Bless, Nathan

What would make Castle 2007 better than Classic Castle
Norro replied to BearHeart's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Well, castles in grey (not bley) would be essential for my purchasing, but leaving that aside I would have to say emulating CC in actually capturing the spirit of a castle, not cartoon, play-scape, fantasy, etc... all the other things that urk me would follow this correction... God Bless, Nathan -
They were originally released for architectural firms to make model with weren't they? God Bless, Nathan

Late comment, but thanks for that scan! I really like it as a trailer! God Bless, Nathan

That is a very expensive naval accident waiting to happen, you have to fire the cannons on both sides of the ship just to keep it level :-D ... God Bless, Nathan
-
??? Could you elaborate or did I miss something? God Bless, Nathan

I was browsing Lugnet and noticed set 1411 'filming of a pirate scene' (or 'Pirates Treasure Hunt') in the studios line... It's got to be one of the most recent pirate sets... also is that a plain captain's hat, like the one from harbour sentry? God Bless all, Nathan

Hey and welcome! My mate is just going home to Munich, I'm sure you know him ;-) X-D Enjoy your time here! God Bless, Nathan
