Request Pirate Lego - what future sets would you like?
Norro replied to Norro's topic in LEGO Pirates
The regular Lugnet set database (eg for set 6066) is expanded when you become a member, you can add comments, and edit how many of a set you own, you can then view a table of exactly how many sets (and pieces) you own with each entry a link to the lugnet set database. Copying and pasting this table into peeron lets you see how many of each individual piece you have... a very impressive service... God Bless, Nathan -
May I suggest www.classic-pirate.com? It fits in with the AFOL site pattern (classic castle, classic space) and would thus generate more traffic from within the community. Also TLC has a nasty habit of not allowing 'lego' domain names, hence the plethora of 'brick' and 'classic' sites... God Bless, Nathan

Hi, For shipping to Ireland what would the 4 euro and 7 euro german rates become? Also is the 6135 (from Brickshelf) all ready sold? Thanks and God Bless, Nathan

Request Pirate Lego - what future sets would you like?

I have never regretted it, it keeps track of my collection and syncs it with so many other resources. I can watch my piece count grow ; ) Not to mention the enjoyment I get out of the site... God Bless, Nathan -
Request Pirate Lego - what future sets would you like?

I like the thread structure, it allows conversations to evolve in an easy to follow way while still being able to discern a 'root' topic. I like cross posting, eg I can post my landscaped castle in .castle, .pirate, .announce.moc, and .loc.ie.. This allows for ideas to spread re building techniques and something that may not be great for one theme can be perfect for another... I also like that all themes are show cased, helps get me out of my ghetto. I did contribute to the thread (here). God Bless, Nathan -

I fooled around with a few, but eventually stuck to the interface because I was always switching computers... I really like the cross-posting concept, and slightly more formal dialogue (though I come to EB for opposite reasons). God Bless, Nathan -
Missed this thread... Very nice, I didn't know about ths topic historically (more proof Lego is fun and educational X-D ). I like the 'squareness' it compliments those mean looking mortars. Good work! God Bless, Nathan

I have to admit I find it easier to use than these boards (not an EB specific problem, just the Invision etc style)... Guess it is just what you are used to... God Bless, Nathan -
I don't understand what you're saying either X-D ;-) God Bless, Nathan

Lugnet doesn't charge for posting privileges! The $10 is to become a member and host web pages on the site + keep your collection, piece counts etc in the database. I posted for years before becoming a member... God Bless, Nathan -
MISB= Mint In Sealed Box or Mint In Sealed Bag ;-) God Bless, Nathan

To quote Black Adder 'one tiny modification to your plan Baldric...' This sub-theme could be made the most exciting town sets of all... modern businesses/buildings, boring white collar workers, endless hallways, security systems, and now add spies! Alpha team like figures set in a real town environment instead of their own area... etc, etc... God Bless, Nathan

Federated States of Micronesia... it's obvious... X-D God Bless, Nathan

Ever wanted to enjoy that MISB set? Maybe just 'check if it is complete'? Well now you can without ruining the 'mint-ness'...* (pic=link) *offer valid for selected lego sets only... Also great if you don't want to lose the pieces in the car... Anyone else have a BMISB set? God Bless, Nathan

Lego ambassadors are asking about a 'dream set'... so far no one has mentioned pirates... thought someone here might X-D The Thread... God Bless, Nathan

I like the shelving units and plethora of crannies in the walls A very 'castley' feel. Good work! God Bless, Nathan

Hey and welcome, Nothing beats the N64... God Bless, Nathan

I wouldn't phrase it that way... More like trying out a new resource... X-D ;-) God Bless, Nathan

A nice, well executed, scene. I like the compactness of the layout, and the way each building seems to 'fit'. Good work! God Bless, Nathan

More great work Jacob! The setting is excellent, the detailing good, and some beautiful windows. I am always partial to a castle near water so you have me there. And the interiors are nice as well. Great job! God Bless, Nathan

Question about medival doors
Norro replied to Lord Admiral Helden Ravensdorn's topic in LEGO Pirates
A common mistake, the 'holders' which attach the door must face out (perpendicularly to the door), as seen in these instructions. Hope that helps. God Bless, Nathan -
A hefty bribe was just paid in... The cup and plate are from Lego Scala... BTW And my fav small pirate set gets its just reward. God Bless, Nathan

Nice work! An impressive harbour. I love the way it says 'the world' in the middle of the gateway in the pics.I also like the magnetic roofs and the supped up Sabre Island is a nice touch. Some of the central buildings are a little too familiar for my taste in a MOC, but that complaint is dwarfed by the sheer scale of your work. Well done! God Bless, Nathan
