  1. Unfortunately China does not have any copyright laws they can produce anything they want from Legos to I phones as long as it’s not used outside of China. Where the enforcement comes in is at customs any copyright material can be seized at customs and destroyed if in violation of U.S. copyright law. Which the Marvel minifigs are most certainly illegal in the U.S. it's doubtful they would be found by customs but if they were they would be destroyed. Bill
  2. Yes something like Lego club but In line with the monthly Eurobricks theme. you could also do layout vists , alternative builds and make contests only open to paid members. Bill
  3. Siince this set is the cheapest way to get a Dalmatian I am not surprised they are selling out so quickly. Bill
  4. If you were to offer something of value to paid subscribers like a monthly online magazine I could see paying for that. Bill
  5. Ads do not bother me in the least bit and I do not use Adblock either. Any thing to keep the site free is okay with me. As far as adult ads this is an 18 and over forum. Bill
  6. I love this site but would not pay for it there are other sites like YouTube that offer the same sense of community. And I dont find advertising annoying as it is a necessity to offset costs for any website. Also you should add zero dollars to the poll for people not interested in a pay service. Bill
  7. You may be opening yourself up to a lawsuit from Marvel entertainment and the Disney Company by trying to issue a license to a copyrighted charecter. An unlicensed piece of art is fan art and comes under fair use but the moment you try licencing the fan art you are stealing from Marvel and Disney. Also all lego fan art must come with a disclaimer that LEGO does not endorse or is affiliated in any way with the video or artwork. and with the Citizen brick meth lab problem LEGO may start enforcing their trademarks and copyrights more rigerously. Crowkillers has had a couple of instructions removed from EBay forn some reason by the LEGO Company.
  8. The sets are way to wacky for me to buy. I like some of the individual minifigs but the rest are making me not want to see the movie either. Bill
  9. Very nice Impact Car Edsmith. I have been have been playing with this idea also but had to cut the trailer size down because it was bigger than the locomotive pulling it. Bill.
  10. For everyone interested in the "Golden age of Railroading" from 1880 to 1916 there is the Mid Continet Railway Museum. http://www.midcontinent.org/ and the National Railroad Museum in Green Bay Wisconsin. http://www.nationalrrmuseum.org/en-Us/default.aspx Bill
  11. There was one in a back issue of Model Railroader and this page has instructions and a wiring diagram. http://southpacificl...ain-ho-elevator We call them elevators in the U.S. Transfer tables are side to side. Bill
  12. Mine is the Illinois Railway Museum. Mostly because it is twenty minuits from my house in Union IL. Bill
  13. At first I thought the hands on my set were cracked. they grip the accesories but i don't get the snap i am used to. Bill
  14. Very nice false front building lightningtiger. I really like the Brick built doors with hingesalong with the hardware bins and what i assume is the paper roll for wrapping purchases. I dont see a scale but it could be there the dark colors don't photograph very well. also how did you attach those minifig heads to the ceiling? Bill
  15. On full size locomotives the middle drivers are not flanged either. Bill
  16. The age requirement is needed for legal reasons. You are contracting your services to Lego and need to be sufficient age to sign a contract which in most cases is 18. As for voting systems they can be abused by having competing projects voted down to eliminate competition. Bill
  17. That’s very clever how you masked the line from the partial trailer with the 1x1 clear studs. It looks very realistic. Bill
  18. The Santa Fe 3000 series was not designed for main line use. They were actually yard goats used to classify whole trains and only lasted 4 years before being made into 2-10-2 engines. Bill
  19. Very nice i really like how you did the the hitch. Bill
  20. I been to Florida seven times on vacation but never made it off Disney property there is so much to do. Downtown disney is a must and does not require park admission. My next favorite is the Magic Kingdom followed by Epcot, disney studios and animal kingdom . There are also 2 waterparks, two mini golf places and several championship golf courses plus the Richard Petty driving experience. If you dont have kids or your kids are over thirteen you may not be able to go to Legoland in the US. Call ahead to Check for AFOL nights. Bill
  21. I also like the Lego version better especially when you consider you can build 3 different versions. Bill
  22. I really love both of your firehouses. One thing I miss on the second version is the roof access stairway it added some character to the smaller version. The first smaller one looks like and older firehouse from the turn of the century. Just add a horse drawn pumper and a hose drying tower. Bill
  23. Any LEGO public transportation system Would be glad to have this beauty on their roster. Well done. Bill
  24. Very well done both inside and out. I really like the cabinets in the bedrooms and the central staircase. Bill
  25. The brothers brick just posted a picture from Comic Con for the 2 main character's. Bill
