  1. I'm much more interested than I thought I'd be. I'm used to Lego's normal movies which are made for small children and have little to nothing for the rest of us. I watched the trailer multiple times, though mostly for it's interesting art direction of mimicking stop motion with CGI and the fact that they really threw in those imperfections of the plastic and stuff. Also I liked how for once everything seemed to be made of Lego instead of just some stuff like the previous movies and games. I might even go see this :P.
  2. I think you're underestimating how many people know about Zod. It's not as many as Lex of course but the other Superman movie really pushed him forward as one of the most well known Superman villains.
  3. In terms of recent Super Hero movies I think it's about in the middle. Better than Thor. Character development complaints? Thor did it worse :P. The love interest literally fell in love with him because she saw him shirtless once... Loki was probably done the best there. Captain America? It had a WHOLE team of non-developed (and oddly diverse for the time period) characters. Nobody got development besides Cap. I think it's much better than those two still decent movies. It's hard to place it. It's only got like a 53% on RottenTomatoes but honestly I think that's not high enough. Other IMO clearly worse movies have much higher :P. I'd think it's better than Thor, Captain America and Iron Man 2. Avengers, Iron Man 1 and the Batman Triology? Nah. (well personally I'd place it over Iron Man 1 but I don't think I'm the norm there, I just don't care for Iron Man)
  4. This makes me think we need an Old Bilbo figure.
  5. Why the heck do people want him? He was in a terrible Superman movie already. And honestly out of all the Lex Luthor versions there are "Evil RealEstate Agent" Lex is by far the most lame one. And there's no need for him to be in two separate universes as Lex. There's 3 versions of Lex. Real Estate, Mad Scientist and Business Man. The first two suck. If Spacey could do a good Business Man Lex (which is where it looks like this one is heading) it doesn't really matter. The chances of him accepting or even being offered the same role in an alternative universe movie is almost zero. Hopefully it's not Keven Spacey :P. I don't need to be reminded of his stupid Lex. Though not the actor's fault, I don't care.
  6. I think the next movie will have both Lex and Brainiac. Nothing really pointed to it that I could see but it just seems natural. And Kryptonite too as sick as most people are of his weakness.
  7. I think Tor-an was the Kroptonian Scientist d00d who had like 2 lines. Not sure though.
  8. Not unexpected. I would have bet on this one. This Rover was all the rage when it happened. I think it's months late though and most have practically forgotten them so I don't think the set will sell as well as it could have (but there's no way it could have been released in time). I... might buy it... Really want a new large Shuttle though :P. I don't think it does entirely. I think this can very well help guide FUTURE non-cuusoo Star Wars sets. I wouldn't be surprised if a Sandcrawler (not of that scale) set was pushed to come out sooner than planned in the future. Who knows?
  9. I saw it. I think it was good. Pretty darned good. Honestly though I'm probably giving it bonus points just because Superman is my favorite Super Hero. Also Snyder did indeed "Snyder it" a bit. Meaning too many visuals (some very very good, some not effective at all), not enough story and development. It's a good movie that could have been much better. I'd give it a 9/10 myself but I think I'm being more generous than most would. My parents and great uncle didn't really like it much. My IN DEPTH thoughts: I can also see why Nolan doesn't want his Batman to be involved with this universe. This is a pretty crazy universe. However I think it could still work (Iron Man 1 going to Avengers was pretty crazy) but since Nolan won't give the okay we won't see the same Batman anyways.
  10. Matters why you want it. Rumors I hear place the SSD as retiring very soon with the DS retiring after it because it sells well (end of the year or even maybe next). If you want it for play then sure. If you want it to sell then... maybe wait :P.
  11. I wish Lego would release sales so we could have a better idea how themes were doing. I really want TMNT to come back. As unscientific as a sample size of one is I've noticed in my stores that at first they were off the shelves like crazy but now they're overstuffed with sets. Makes me worried :P.
  12. Were two new options edited in? :P I question the validity of the poll lol. Two of those options didn't exist earlier, the numbers are skewed!
  13. There's no way that's the complete roster :P. I'd expect it to have around... 50 characters maybe.
  14. System seller. If you don't own either a WiiU or a 3DS and if there's any game that alone makes buying a system worth it, it's this. Fighting/Party game. Get some friends and you'll play this your whole life practically :P. I spent years playing Melee and Brawl in college. They'd set up multiple TV sets with it and play it every freakin' day. For years. They're still playing it to this day! Most popular college "get together" video game game in my experience.
  15. It's already been touched... it's mostly just the playability and showiness. Adults tend to not care about playability and children tend to (there's exceptions, I never cared about playability with my toys when I was a kid because instead of playing with them I used them as a source of inspiration to my imagination, which IMO is the best toy out there :P). Every time I get a good showy set with playability stupid flick cannons or whatever I want to mod them out as they're completely useless to me unless they look the part.
  16. WiiU... YES! wut!? lol...
  17. Very few knew his identify and at the time it didn't really matter. Yoda, Obi-Wan, the Organas (well, at least one of them) would not see any use in revealing the information and it would likely put Luke and Leia in danger. And there was truly probably little to no use in the information anyways. His enemies probably couldn't use his old life against him effectively. I'd bet that in the whole galaxy there was probably only a handful of people know knew his true identity (Palpatine, probably a decent amount of troopers, blablabla). To most everyone else he was simply an unknown Jedi who turned on them. The information was probably strictly controlled so people for the most part couldn't say which one for sure (I doubt there was an available list of dead Jedi and if there was they could have always put Anakin's name there anyways).
  18. Honestly I'm not excited for the new Battlefront. I see EA doing the same thing with it as Battlefield. That being day one DLC. Tons more constant DLC. Gotta spend a ridiculous amount of money for map packs and crap. EA is truly the worst (successful) gaming company right now :P.
  19. That was fast. Lego didn't like how they're not one product so they could pass just because of that.
  20. That would be legit reasoning but look at Lego Ironman stuff :P. Like none of those happened. :O
  21. Found Escape Black Zero for sale at Walmart (only $3 off but whatever). Bought it. Hope the movie doesn't suck. The minifigures are better than expected. Superman looks good. I'm not sure why the silver highlights exist (they're still blue in the movie). Lois Lane's torso looks a bit faded (it does not look like it has nearly as bold of colors as the art on the box or pictures we've seen, I can barely make out the waste for example). I really, REALLY wish the stupid armor on the other Kryponians worked with hair. There's no point that it doesn't work with at least short hair... And the builds are boring :P. I really wish they'd have done a more iconic build like The Daily Planet. I guess it would have been too expensive though. Also wish we got a plain Clark (which still doesn't exist, even the movie minifigure has the S showing).
  22. I'll be interested when they let me earn 5x VIP points. Another thing that confuses me is why people get excited for double. That's still nowhere near sales at many other places.
  23. As long as they don't charge more I don't care much what they do. The design could only get better (I wouldn't expect it to soon though), ads don't bother me, blablabla. If it ends up sucking a replacement will eventually come.
  24. You've immortalized one of the worst and most ridiculous scenes in a bad and ridiculous movie. :( It looks good though.
  25. "The Force" is why... as lame as that is to cover a plot hole. It's possible her power in the force made her remember, though she doesn't realize it. According to Yoda you can see the past and people long gone after all. It's not too much of a stretch though again, it's a bit lame to have "the force" as a plot hole filler.
