Yes you are. I think they're B+ material. A- since they use a new mold technique. They're not perfectly but perfectly good enough for what they are.

They already tied into the Thor movie and the episode was pretty bad.

Bigfigs need better articulation. That's my only real complaint. I'm looking at the Hulk. The legs really should articulate as well as the head. At least as much as other minifigures. I figure the reason they don't is simply to save money. :/

A TV show about Batman, Superman or Wonder Woman. Not about someone they know. Not a prequel. Not about them when they're younger. Just a series with THEM. Not talking cartoons here though. The last one we had was probably The Adventure of Lois and Clark. But that was campy as heck. :P

Considering how good some mechs are in other franchises like TMNT and Chima the Sentinel is pointlessly disappointing.

I also don't care about Dr. Strange. The thing is, all these second tiered characters are second tier for a reason. They're just not as interesting. They're often not written as well. They're not as likable to the general populace for some reason. So I'm open to anything. That doesn't mean it'll be better but many of these characters simply need something to pull them into the general populace's eyes and for the most part simply doing them as they are in the comics will not get them any attention and they'll remain second tier. So, while some of the casting might not be what we expect, and some of the stories might go away from the originals, I again, do not care ;p. Bring on change. Let the characters and their stories evolve. If Depp can do a good Strange then I welcome it. Of course I can't imagine him as Strange but... whatever works... if it works. Because I doubt Ant-Man or Dr. Strange would do that well with their normal stuff. (Wonder Woman has a similar issue but I'm not sure making her freakin' Kryptonian is the answer... but that's DC)

Easy enough to shave down that part with sandpaper if you don't mind them not being 100% pure anymore.

Measuring the grey area and having strict definitions is pointless. Just do your best at estimating. People won't always agree either. Sometimes I barely mod a model. Like giving the official Y-Wing some landing gear. It's still modded. But barely. I won't submit it as a MOC. A MOC in my mind needs more substantial changes or additions.

Uh, an R2D2 (astromech droids specifically) with an updated more R2D2ish mold. Not happening but it would be neat. I'm talking just some more detail on the mold, especially for the big legs. Shape them more like R2. Give him a proper 3rd leg somehow :P. And a dome that can rotate. Also heads for other astromechs not yet represented. R3: Transparent, printed dome. R4: Taller heads similar to R5. R6: Bah, just look it up. Really starting with R6 they just get more obscure. But R3s and R4s aren't really obscure.

Ant-Man is a second rate character that I don't care about so I'll welcome Rudd 'cause I simply don't care :). I mean seriously, whose favorite character is Ant-Man? Plus he's a wife beater. lol

Well most people have issues with the cast. You might like them but if most don't there's going to be an obvious issue ;p. Melinda May: Boring and generic stoic warrior type. Doesn't have ANY personality. Just stands around being stoic. Even though there's already been a lot more screen time for Melinda May the Black Widow from Avengers still has more character (and she doesn't have much). Grand Ward: Another boring and generic somewhat less stoic warrior. He's better with people than Malinda but still showed as unsociable. His moral and manly man personality has been done 100 times on TV. There is zero unique about him or Melinda. Fitz and Simons: Quirky, nerdy and often weak scientists! If this was the 90s I might be more surprised but at this point they're just stereotyped and yet more personality types that have been done to death. Skye: I don't know what to say besides a lot of people have issues with her. It's just... there's absolutely nothing unique or interesting about basically everyone in the cast. None of them are particularly good at excelling in anything (being lovable like Hurly from Lost, facinating character like Walter White, cool like Kirk, whatever). Even Phil Coulson seems a bit drab. He's got the mystery of his apparently resurrection and that's it. But it's not the cast's fault. The writing just isn't that good. Also despite being part of the Marvel universe we're never going to see anyone significant. No way will the big gun movie stars guest star. Marvel seems unwilling to let them use any characters of any significance. It seems actually very separated from the Marvel universe. Even when we do start getting real Marvel characters I figure they'll be basically the ones nobody likes already. :P The whole show is "meh". It's absolutely not comparable to other Wedon works like Buffy and Firefly. It suffers from "meh" on in almost every aspect. From the characters to the writing to the limits put on them by Marvel... It's just too much. It's not a terrible show. But it's also not one of the great shows like Lost, Breaking Bad, Buffy, Star Trek, etc. Not even close. It's average at best. Average won't be remembered much in history.

I don't like how it's got the R2 minifigure instead of that larger dome print that was on the Jedi Starfighter.

I don't have that many extra heads and hands just lying around and until Asians literally have yellow skin it won't work for me :P.

Hmmmm I'm pretty sure this will sell decently well with AFOLs... I'm not sure if it could realistically sell well enough as a whole franchise (with the normal 6ish sets). I don't think the Simpsons could support it. Simpsons toys don't sell that well. One set could do great but a whole wave? If I had to guess I'd say no. Maybe though it could support a smaller wave of like 3 sets. It doesn't help that there's no major Simpsons things happening and the show is nowhere near its old peak. I wonder if this is a play to try to get more kids into it since the viewing audience has grown a bit older with the show.

Blame the minifigure design. They sit almost as tall as they stand. Cars have the same issue much of the time and are too huge.

I want to see high quality photos of these high quality customs. ;P

Okay so the blindbags... Normal Homer, Flanders and Marge will likely be in them. Just their basic clothing. But this set seems to contain normal Bart, Lisa and Maggie already, besides the eyes (potentially). Will the blind bags just have the same ones? Probably with new gear like the sax of course but... that seems kind of weak. :P At the same time I'd kind of doubt we'd get get something really unique for them since that would mean the only way you'd get the normal ones is by spending $200. So no Bartman.

2nd favorite Castle theme. 1st is probably the Fantasy theme with the green orcish d00ds. Though LotRs is doing that better atm. I don't have nearly as much interest in Castle right now ('cause again LOTR is doing it just fine, better than the regular Castle). Forestmen might be able to reinvigorate my interests. Though my fear of "yellows" would realistically prevent that :P. Yellows don't match my fleshies. I hates yellows!

That sucks. That sucks. I hate when TV shows that get canned do this because honestly I never follow up on the other forms of media.
