This is quite the bump. 6 years? Maybe at that point a new thread can be made instead as everything in here is irrelevant. ;P

There was an interview somewhere that confirmed that Agents of SHIELD was into development before they decided to kill off SHIELD in Winter Soldier. Someone went up to the writers and said what was up and I assume they adjusted their story.

Luke probably lives there. I bet his Uncle and Aunt left him their land in their will. Now he's but a simple Moisture Farmer who happens to be a Jedi. :P

Confirmed Pokemon: Pikachu Charizard Greninja Lucario Past Pokemon: Pichu Jigglypuff Ivysaur Squirtle Mewtwo Brawl had 6 reps (Pokemon Trainer counts as 3). I doubt they'd have less. I think there's a good possibility they'd have MORE now by at least 1. We need 2 more to match the rep count for the previous game. Judging by history no N64 character has ever been cut. I'd bet Jigglypuff is in. Pichu I wouldn't think is in. He was a clone. Few loved him. Fewer missed him :P. Mewtwo... A lot loved him. But Lucario is VERY similar and basically fulfilling his old role. I wouldn't discount him. Sakurai himself said he might want to add him and his Mega Evolution. I'd say he's got a decent chance but not a great one. Ivysaur and Squirtle. I think people are counting them out too fast. Just because there's no transformations and Charizard was revealed alone doesn't mean they're gone. After all they could be secret characters which is probably why characters like Captain Falcon which has traditionally been an unlock are not shown yet. Luigi was a secret character but Sakurai said he revealed him for the Year of Luigi. These two could easily be secret unlocks. Or they could be gone :P. You never know until release. I don't think "Greninja being a Water Pokemon means no Squirtle means no Bulbasaur" is logic that is based on anything real. If I was a betting man I'd say we'd either get Jigglypuff, Squirtle and Bulbasaur. Or Jigglypuff and Mewtwo. Pichu is dead. Jiggs in my mind is almost certain. I also think it's very likely there's at least 7 reps.

They don't need a grass started just because they have a Water and Fire one already. Ivysaur and Squirtle also aren't out yet until we get the game and know for sure.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2014 Rumors & Discussion

I kind of like the sets and minifigures. They look better in minifigure form than in the movies :P. -

Anyone else think these Tardises are too big? A Tardis isn't over 2x as tall as a character :P. IMO the door part should be 3x studs max (don't ask me how you'll make functioning doors though ;p) and the whole thing a lot shorter. It still won't match the size but it'll be closer than the behemoth is now. I mean look at that door handle in the picture. It's above the minifigure's heads! -
The AT-AT is pretty disappointing. It's smaller than ever.

New grays actually closer to neutral gray than the old ones?
BrickG replied to Xfing's topic in General LEGO Discussion
The old yellowish greys were better for one thing IMO. The Millenium Falcon. Blue-Grey Falcon is kind of odd. -
How long until we don't have to use spoiler tags?

Deathlok looks cheap. The TV budget isn't doing them favors in villain visual designs or special effects. It all looks pretty bad.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2014 Rumors & Discussion

The way they've been doing it for years? Lips aren't required for speech. Heck, look at parrots :P. -
I think the rule of two comes from elitist snobs like Palpatine. Clearly there's very often been more than two. But the elitist snob mentality is like "lol were the top 2, u don't count" and yoda is like "yah bro! count you do not!" then the other sith who are basically exactly the same just less powerful are like QQ. Anyways back on topic... I hope we get a KOTOR set. Though I highly doubt it'll happen especially since the TOR sets, a game that's still out, seems to have died out.
-
Nope. I say bullcrap. This is like crap reasoning Palpatine would give. Ventress was sith enough. I feels like empty and desperate reasoning to try to make some of these characters not count. They're all Sith enough (except Grievous) and one sect of Sith being all like "yo! ur not extreme enough to be with this" is kind of stupid. It basically means there can be 1000 Sith and the top two are the only "true" ones which is bull. Looking at the history of the Sith it's clear that the name "Sith" would reach force users of many levels. This is like the Pope being all like "no, ur not Christians anymore only us top two Christians are Christians". ;p I look at the "rule of two" as really a myth within the Star Wars universe. Especially in the EU where it's so clearly ignored.

I'm going to be living in London by that time. I assume it's over there. Might take that chance to go to the Lego store there.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Discussion

lol yeah there's no way these guys can fit through a manhole. -
That's more of a recommendation. Yoda took it too seriously and basically said it was a rule. Obviously even in Clone Wars there were a lot more Sith than 2. And they did use to have an empire full of them. If anything I'd say the rule of two really kind of screwed them. Unless you're Palpatine you usually can't take over the galaxy with just a couple.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2014 Rumors & Discussion

Honestly if you ranked the TMNT series best to worst the last cartoon was just ahead of the live action series. It wasn't very good. I especially hated that part. -
Pleygo: Netflix styled Lego Rental?
BrickG replied to Legononymous's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I'm reading reviews. They're all negative from what I can see and for the very reasons that were obvious from the start. Dirty Lego. Missing pieces. Damaged instructions. Random non-Lego things like food in the sets. Really long shipping times that seem to average 2 weeks. And apparently when people report missing pieces they blame the person who made the report and attempt to charge them for the set at retail. There are reports of random chargers too of hundred of $$$ for no apparent reason. Then apparently their "monthly" charges are billed all at once if you sign up for multiple months. Then the whole system seems glitched up with various random stuff happening. Maybe it could become something if they get rid of the bugs... -
Pi$$ed at eBay .... sorry .. puZZled with eBay
BrickG replied to DrJB's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
What a weird threat. This is normal for ebay. Invisible bidders are normal. Automatic bids are normal. Sniping isn't totally effective since automatic bids exist (which you do not need any 3rd party system for, you can use ebay itself to autobid). Everything that is happening here is TOTALLY NORMAL. Ebay allows this. Bidders are hidden. This is all TOTALLY NORMAL. The eBay users simply put what their maximum bid can be. Then no matter how often you bid, if you don't reach that maximum they put then they'll always automatically outbid you. If you're unlucky they're also sniping you just in case. If there's an issue with the bidders looking out of order, well that's irrelevant. The winner wins. It's not like they're hacking to win with a lower bid. The highest bid wins. Also any out of order stuff might be a problem with your computer and your cookies and not eBay. -
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2014 Rumors & Discussion
BrickG replied to just2good's topic in LEGO Licensed
This makes me sad. First off the Ninja Turtles seem to have superpowers now. They were basically just turtle people before. Now they're leaving imprints on bricks they land on and crash into vehicles like they're nothing. Then of course I've complained about it before, but the whitewashing. Why is shredder white? And they're ugly. Especially the lips. Don't give Ninja Turtles lips. :P -
Comparing it to the Endor $250 set and it's still no contest. Kind of depressing.

Their reach is more limited though. Books are neat and all but more people played KOTOR than read those books I'd venture.
-
I can see why the choice is viewed as questionable. However you have to understand that KOTOR is largely thought of as the BEST Star Wars outside of the original trilogy, story wise. Seriouisly, most of the EU in Star Wars is crap. KOTOR's story is not one of them (gameplay is pretty aged at this point though). I mean you can just see the respect for KOTOR when the Clone Wars wanted to have Revan and Malak appear on it. I don't think it would be bad to say that KOTOR is held higher than the prequels, ignoring numbers (obviously it hasn't had as many people experience the story but I'd 100% bet that it's considerably more well loved within it's smaller fanbase). If ANY of the EU was made canon, KOTOR would be the first thing 98% of people who know it would support. It's closer to "Star Wars" than almost the rest of the entire EU and prequels.

Seriously what the crap? The next movie is going to have the entire justice league and a huge cast of evil d00ds. What are they thinking? You need DEVELOPMENT!
