  1. I believe you're right, I don't think there were magnets in space sets before either. Adding magnets to space sets was an actual stroke of genius! I remember as a kid adding train magnets under my smaller shuttles to make them stick to the fridge: best play feature ever :-)
  2. Congratulations on achieving your collection! These canopies look amazing with your lightning set! About the magnets: I'm not sure this was the first time they introduced them, I remember having a few in my collection despite having discovered MTron after my dark age. Seems that I got them in 1985 with the 7715 train, but I can't tell if they were the first magnets from Lego or not.
  3. Very nice! I love the curves! Could we please have a shot of the inside?
  4. As I suspected a great interior was hidden inside this gem! Thanks for the pics and congratulations for this great ship!
  5. Impressive! The angles are amazing! Can we please have pictures of the inside?
  6. Dear Eurobricks members, Freelug (national French LUG) organize their first exhibition (1000m²) in Lomme, near Lille, the 8th and 9th of October. Of course there will be a lot of French exhibitors, but as Lille is at a crossroad in Europe, we'd also be pleased and honoured to welcome exhibitors from abroad! Lille is at 1h30 from Brussel, 3h from Köln, 3h from London, and (for reference) 2h30 from Paris. The main theme for the exhibition in Movies & TV shows from the 80s, but it is not mandatory to follow it and any creation is welcome. Registering is of course free of charge. Expect contests, games, and a lot of fun in a friendly atmosphere! Inhabitants of the North of France have the reputation of warm and welcoming people, and we certainly want to prove we deserve it! The location (Maison des Enfants - Lomme) is easily accessible by any mean of transportation: https://www.google.f....9928096,16.19z Complimentary meals for exhibitors are in order, as well as goodies and surprises. Solutions for sleeping accommodations can be found. There might be a token fee for an AFOL party on Saturday evening. Please feel free to visit our webpages and ask any questions - don't let the informations in French fool you, we'll be pleased to answer in English: http://lomme.briquexpo.org/ https://www.facebook...55015654610409/ Registrations close the 15th of August.

  11. I feel outraged. I have always supported and will always support any act of democracy, but do you really call this a poll? Can't you see that an obvious option is missing??? I won't vote until I can choose "Yes we can", period.

  13. Will commie themes as Fabuland and Sponge Bob Squarepants be cast out of the forums at last? Also, we need some place to discuss weapons! Great change!

  17. S@H lied to you, period. Dozens of people in France bought the set for 139.99€ this week-end, as you can check by yourself on the brickpirate boards - DanSto here is the perfect example.
  18. From what I gather, loads of French AFOL complained to the Lego Company about the price increase from 139.99€ (as announced a couple of months ago) to 179.99€, ending with a formal complaint to the official French authority that deals with business frauds, which answered positively and turned to Lego. This might explain why the set is now available for 139.99€ in France, as advertized a few weeks ago. Don't we all agree that 139.99€ is a far more legitimate price for this set?
  19. You know, only a few countries in the world celebrate Halloween. Halloween will have virtually no impact on the Monster Fighters sales in most countries.
  20. I can't believe the price is 139.99€ instead of 179.99€ on the French version of legoshop.com!
