Harry Potter: Wizard's Duel - Duelling Club
Walter Kovacs replied to ADHO15's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I've got a new character who's itching for a duel. Don't have a photo yet, which is unfortunate (but the BL order is on the way!). Still, if the good Professor wants a duel, I'll take up that gauntlet. Anyone want to ADJ for us? -
Village of the Bloody Damned: Day Cycle 1

Ahh, the professor's famous intruder soup. My mouth waters at teh thought of tasting it again. When was the last time we had a batch? Was it the summer of '03? Remember the stew the professor made with the Johnson family, when they got lost on vacation and came here? The flesh of the children was so tender! ALl this talk of food is making me hungry. Someone find a Screaming Zombie so we can eat. -
Eh, I didn't notice the white stripes. Perhaps those are just flight wing markings, so that the pilots know who belongs to what formation in the heat of battle. It'd get pretty boring if every ARC-170 looked exactly the same. TCW has done a pretty good job making sure clones and equipment are not all samey-samey. This might be an example.

A list of rumored Summer 2011 sets has surfaced, along with set numbers, and Battle of Endor was listed as one of the titles. Everyone here believes that it is just a working title, and will be changed before release. Or at least we hope it will be released.

Village of the Bloody Damned: Day Cycle 1
Walter Kovacs replied to Shadows's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Wait, the Screaming Zombies aren't zombies? And I was so looking forward to their dulcet, moaning chants. At any rate, this works out better. Their sacrifice should be pleasing to MANOS. Torgo, go find me a screaming zombie to scarifice. -
You're joking, right? Short summary: I saw WhiteFang try and convert someone. I accused, he defended, I rebutted, now everyone is voting WhiteFang. Yup, I think that just about covers it.

Maybe I'm the only one who thought that the red tinge was from a sunset, or the light from the closeset star, and not a special paint job.

I'm really excited about this Battle for Geonosis set. A cheap way to get Rex is only one of the benefits. I already have Rex from my AT-TE, but he is my son's favorite character, so I can let my son "borrow" my 2nd to play with, and if he manages to lose it, I still have my first Rex. I'd still be furious with my son, mind you, but at least I'd still have Rex. Battle for Geonosis also has Luminara. I'm a sucker for CW era Jedi for some reason, so her inclusion is fantastic in my mind. There are some bad parts to the set, though. A lack of Geonosians is interesting, but not deal-breaking. I still think the BARC is ugly, and now it's in two different sets. But the thing that irks me the most is that ugly technic cannon right in the middle. I'm tired of LEGO including those things in Star Wars sets. They never really weem to fit well into any set they've been included in. And while I haven't looked at the photo in a few days, I seem to remember that the SBD had a rocket arm.

That's a good thing, because I'm "not wrong" a lot

Harry Potter: Wizard's Duel - Character Records
Walter Kovacs replied to ADHO15's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Walter Kovacs - Misguided Ravenclaw Adept Health: 5 Spells Crucio Expelliarmus Mastery Spells None Biography Walter is the only son of a drug addicted prostitute. He has no idea who his father is, and neither does his mother. He is most likely a mudblood. Walter has been physically and mentally abused his entire life, forcing him to rely on himself, and to turn his eye inwards. When he received his invitation to Hogwarts, his mother reportedly said "Damned if I care. It'll keep the worthless pissant out of my affairs." All of this abuse did have a positive effect on young Walter. He learned how to fend for himself. He sharpened his mind, seeing creative ways around problems. He has honed his physical side, achieving a strength and agility that many professional atheletes would covet. And he has developed an inate sense of Justice, that evil should always be punished. Unfortunately with that sense of Justice was also a belief that his own actions could never be wrong when pursuing that justice. He takes the phrase "The ends justify the means" to new lows, resorting to torure and even threatening death in order to punish the wicked. All the while deluding himself into believing he is righteous. And now he comes to Hogwarts, ready to prove himself in the Wizard Duels. Congratulations, Pedro. Hope everything goes (went?) well. And for your wife's sake, swiftly. -
Forewarned is forearmed. We must all remain vigilant. Perhaps Stash would be amenable to letting two very trusted sources with the information, say myself and Shaun Dows? The scum can't take out all three of us in one night (can they?), and by tomorrow morning my loyalty will be known. That way, one of us can spread the word on Day 6. But he has to know in advance that any accusation I make will be based on his word alone. I will not vouch personally for any info I did not collect. You ain't getting my butt in a sling on bad intel. I'm sure the employer/employee bond is strong at Mr White's resaturant. Mr Jaun probably has very mixed feelings right about now. I said this above, but I mentioned the wrong name. It was Alex Burr, not Kevin Jaun that the comment was directed towwards. And I may have been a little heavy handed there. I just don't want people to expect this level of evidence on every scum in town. We've been lucky getting solid evidence on Frank and Carrie. Most of our convictions are going to have to be made on far less evidence in the future, I'm afraid. We could get lucky, but don't count on it.

Except that LEGO prices are not necessarily a direct conversion when going between regions. You know what the prices are in American dollars, right? Can you do a little legwork, and see what similarly priced sets from the past few years have gone for in GBP? For instance, Battle of NAboo is $30. What did the Republic Swamp Speeder, which is also a $30 set, sell for in GBP? That should be a pretty good go-by.
-
Crap, put the wrong person's name I of course meant I'm keeping tabs on Mr. Burr. Sorry if I gave you a heart attack, Kevin.
-
More evidence? How much more evidence do you think you are going to get? Would Frank approaching you holding a briefcase in the middle of the night be enough evidence for you? Sheesh. Unless... Unless YOU were his target for conversion last night. I might just need to keep an eye on you, Mr. Jaun. Don't think that I don't know the rules here. If Frank is convicted and found innocent, my life is forfeit. I would not, and did not, make this accusation lightly. Take that for what it is worth. On the flip side, if Frank is convicted and found guilty, those who defend him or showed doubts in the voting would look awfully suspicious.
-
Thanks for the vote of confidence. I knew my butt was on the line when I made the accusation. I did not make it lightly. For those that keep claiming that there were three killings last night, do not forget that one was a lynching from the Day 4 vote. Eric King had already been convicted, and was going to be removed one way or another.

I assure you I am no Neutral. I am a loyal townie, unlike you Frank. I must go and practice my Kung Pho now. I have nothing more to say to scum like you.
-
This is exactly the kind of thing I'd expect you to say. Maybe Peeping Tom is not the correct term. I'm not so experienced in these games...of life. But I know what my night ability is. I can see others night actions. And I know what I saw. That was you, Frank, attempting to convert someone. And my offer still stands. If Frank is convicted and is innocent, I won't even try to mount a defense. I have no doubts of your guilt, Mr. White. I suggest you prepare yourself to meet Carrie Price in hell.
