What do you want to see?
Walter Kovacs replied to RoryoCox's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
There are so many possibilities with a Dune Mafia. I read the books a long while ago, and I am currently listening to the books on CD to refresh my memory (currently in the middle of God Emperor, probably the worst of the six books). Ixians, Tlelaxu Face Dancers, Bene Gesserit, Corrino, Atriedes, Harkonen. You could even go into the later books and set the Bene Gesserit against the Revered Matres coming back from the scattering, or even Fish Speakers protecting the God Emperor. I think this is a wonderful idea. Star Wars Mafia would get plenty of people interested. When I was thinking up an easy game for beginners, I thought of a prison setting, where a tyrannical dictator has rounded up suspected dissidents and planted his secret police among them, to ferret out their leaders. -

I hope everything is all right, Fugazi, for both you and those you care about. -

SBDs from J22 to J21 SBDs from P20 to P19 Unload 2 SBDs from AAT @ J23 to J22 Unload 2 SBDs from AAT @ P21 to P20 Droid Carrier from W23 to X23 Now my AATs get back whatever they lose when loaded with droids Thanks for letting me know which Carrier is which. It might not be important, but then again it might. -
Ah, I've never seen the CW movie, so I wouldn't have caught that. Not that LEGO is 100% accurate anyway.

Wasn't Yoda included in the AAT due to that episode? Somehow I don't think they would make a second set based off the same episode, especially given that the epi was from season 1. If anything, that character might reappear in a season 3 episode. UCS Lobot!! Sign me up!!!! Couldn't resist Still, a fleshie Lobot in a new Cloud City set would be kinda cool. I mean, Lobot is a really minor (though apparently recognizable) character. But if there is a new Cloud City, I have only one thing to say. Ughnauts.

Actually, I've started the design for a UCS TIE Fighter. I know it won't be the best out there (Reto's is gorgeous, and Anio's is very, very good), but I hope it is at least halfway decent. Besides, there are many alternates that are based off of the standard TIE. Now that I'm almost done builiding this monster, I can get back to designing. Maybe.

Unload SBD from AAT @ P21 to P20 Unload SBD from AAT @ J23 to J22 (I'm pretty sure I'm allowed to do this; SBDs are allowed to move as groups of two, right?) Droid Carrier from V23 to W23 STAP from E24 to E22 STAP from G24 to G22 ADHO, can you tell me which MTT, AAT and Droid Carriers are which. They all have different droids or commanders loaded on, and I might want to unload them at some point. Thanks. -
Both MAster Butcher and Shaun Dows present somewhat compelling arguments. I have little doubt Carrie was trying to cover for a fellow scum. Vote: Eric King/KingoftheZempk

Thanks for the offer, but by the time you get back to me my wife will likely already have been there. I ehave the greatest need for basic pieces, anyway. Thanks for the reply.

I have to agree with Sok here. I just don't understand why Boba is so loved. Yes he had an aura of awesomeness around him in the two films, but he still did NOTHING in said movies. At least Cad Bane is seen accomplishing some of his goals. Note that I have never read anything in the EU that deals with Boba. And Boba can't hit the broadside of a barn with his Carbine. He missed luke in Cloud City, and misses everyone on Tattoine. Bane doesn't miss that often (unless it's a Jedi ). Also, Bane has to contend with Jedi. Many Jedi. Boba never has to face one down until RotJ, where he meets his end, sort of. As far as equipment goes, though, Boba Fett has Cad Bane beat on every front.

It's a good day to be alive. Not a great day, mind you. There are still scum roaming our streets, hiding amongst us in plain sight. One thing that last night proved which noone has mentioned is that the Night Watch does indeed appear to be real, and that Shaun Dows is one of them. Since Carrie was scum, then the Ronzini family (all 1 of them?) surely knows who the other Night Watchers are, if she was the head of the Night Watch as she claimed to be. I'd hate to be in their shoes right now!

ARchie looks spot on. Every detail looks accurate from what I remember of the comics. That being said, I LOVE THAT RORSCHACH! Would you mind if I copied it and made him my sigfig? It would only be appropriate.

My wife is going on a business trip to Minneapolis next week, and she has graciously offered to visit the LEGO Store in the Mall of America. She has asked me to put together a list of what parts I need. What I'd like to know is whether the store there has Pick a Brick (I'm assuming it does, but it never hurts to ask), do they use the cups or is it baggies and a scale, and if there are any "exotic" parts available currently (anything beyond the expected plates and bricks)? All help is appreciated.

Well I DID say I wasn't sure. If you haven't learned by now: never, ever trust my brain to do or say anything right. I certainly don't -
This is fantastic, 501st. If this is only a part of a WIP, I cannot wait to see the entire thing. The greebling along the ground is amazing.

Typically there are two main waves per year for SW sets: one released in January and one around August. TLG has the habit of throwing in a stray set or two throughout the year, though. Like the Dropship and AT-OT, which was released in March. We already have seen leaked prelim photos of the January wave. We should be getting official photos very soon. Not sure when the August wave usually gets leaked out, but I want to say April is the right timeframe. A set list without pics might be significantly earlier. -
CallMePie was looking for clarification on whether the astromech was the Pearl Light Gray equivalent TLG is moving to (can't remember the new color's name) or if it is Light Bluish Gray. the prelim pics we have are tough to make out. If KimT got a good close look, he might be able to tell us.

Looking good, AC. I noticed some patches of blue and grays in the floor. You didn't run out of black tiles, did you? And are the black jumper plates scattered on the floor for some Battle Droids? The towers look awesome. I love the use of the UCS TIE Interceptor windscreen. Using the T-16 fin for the sloped embankment was clever as well. Can't wait to see it finished.

Then I must be completely blind, because I can't seem to get there except by using the search function. And occasionally a good deal pops up there. I do a lot of Christmas/Birthday shopping for my son via the Sales/Deals page.

I know the UCS MF went on sale for "The 4th Be With You" this past May. It sold out VERY quickly. I think it was 25% off, but I could be wrong. -
It looks a little bit better. But where's my link to the Sales and Deals page? I used that link almost religiously, and now I don't see it at all.
-
But it would have been fun watching an AT-TE fall to a bunch of Battle Droids
-
Nothing in those pictures suggest that it is small. It is looking fantastic so far, and now I can't wait to see it completed.
-
Well, that changes things quite a bit. I was going to deploy my droids as a shield and force MB to plink his way through, while I nickle and dimed him to death. I doubt I have enough turns now to accomplish this. Time for plan B.
