Welcome to EB, Gryphon Ink. Many of those high quality reviews are from EB Reviewers Academy graduates. EB prides itself on it's Academy, and I am proud to be a teacher there (though I don't do as much teaching as I should ). If you're interested, I'm sure we can find you a link to it. If not, no biggie. I'll see you in the Star Wars forum.

Welcome Jaka. Hope you enjoy your stay here. If you don't like 30, just wait until you are staring down 40. Similar issues, but health starts intruding as well. And your English is quite good. I have no problems understanding you. Like Cam, I'd like to know where I can expect to see you posting.

It's good to see that you are still trying to improve your model, marshal_banana. I agree with you that scale and parts limitations will often require compromise, especially in Minifig and MINI scales. I look forward to any improvements that you manage to make.

To be honest, I forgot that those pictures existed. Bingo! Cheap way to get multiples. And I have to agree with that sentiment.

So I'm an obnoxious idiot who speaks loudly? At least I'm using my voice to help this town. I looked through the newspapers for the last few days. Know what I saw? You spoke once on Days 1 & 2, only to say you knew nothing. On day 3, you showed up only to vote for Carrie Price. Of course, just about everyone in town did the same. You didn't even bother showing your face on Days 4 & 5 (I feel like a hypocrite here, as I missed the voting against Dick yesterday. I stayed in meditation too long, and the voting ended very quickly. I'm certain observant town members noticed). Day 6 you spoke up again to express grief over the loss of your son. But you didn't bother to stick around very long. Then Stash's list comes out, fingering you in no uncertain terms. Suddely you have found your voice! It's a miracle! You voted for Stash (nothing suspicious there, though I voted the other way), and then proceeded to tell everyone you were leaving your loving husband for none other than Dick the Defiant. Who, if you recall, was the other person fingered by Stash. Yesterday, you told us all we were idiots, then expressed a desire to have Drake dead even if he were a loyal townie, and then so eloquently expressed hatred for us all. And you didn't vote against Dick, your lover into whose arms you ran so easily. Why Dick? Perhaps because you already shared a family connection? I don't need you to paint me a picture for this one, Alice. vote: Alice Nutter/Alice

DS Sent. The rules are pretty easy in this case. We both have Combat Mastery, so the effects cancel. Any Low vs Low, etc. will be 0 health loss as usual. Saber Flurry is like a regular attack, except that if it hits, it does 2 damage instead of 1. Endurance gives KDM a starting health of 6.
-
Yup, Combat Mastery is a rather nice ability. You fight well, youngling, but have much to learn. Come to me after you have trained more and I will gladly teach you. I'm ready for you, Sith! My lightsabers have not tasted Sith flesh for far too long! Who's going to ADJ?

It's a new day (at least for me), so time for a new duel. Anyone game? -
Red Scare Mystery -Confirmation and Discussion
Walter Kovacs replied to Bob's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Prostitutes? Not in my town, not on my watch. If you want that sort of debauchery, go on up to Wilmington, I'm sure you can find that sort of...diversion...there. Alabatha is a town built on morals, and I intend to keep it that way. Next thing you know you'll be suggesting husbands should sleep in the same bed as their wives. Sheesh. -
Welcome to EB, Dan. It's a shame I live so far away, because that museum looks like somewhere I'd want to go.

Red Scare Mystery -Confirmation and Discussion

Should someone tell the Profesor that Delaware is nowhere near Texas? I have no idea what a Delaware accent sounds like, but I'd imagine it's fairly mild. -
Sorry, misunderstood your question. It's hard to tell from the box front, and impossible looking at the out-of-box pic, but if you look at the Minifig lineup in the lower right hand corner, it certainly looks like a bent arm. I would expect to be able to see the open hand if it were a straight arm. Hope this helps.
-
That is certainly true. We don't know what went on behind closed doors between Drake and Stash. Stash certainly had a low opinion of Drake, that is certain. And from everything I've read, Drake was an upstanding citizen. That was my only point, that Drake was loyal, and Stash attempted to trash him. As he did with Flint and myself.

Clone Conflict: Round 1: Game 4

Battle Droid #1430: STAP #3 reporting mission complete, sir." General Grevious: "Excellent."*coughcough* "Tell STAP #2 to continue attacking secondary target." STAP N1 attack M1 STAP F8 attack F7 SBDs P20 to P19 Hailfire P21-P22 to P20-Q20 (move and turn again) AAT R21 to R20 T-5 -
I wouldn't worry too much about that.

I'm certain he means the straight BD arm, which puts the blaster upright instead of on it's side like the older, crooked BD arm. And without even looking at a picture, I am going to say yes, it is straight. I doubt TLG will ever go back to having two bent arms on any BD except those that are piloting something (like a STAP, for instance).

how many of AFOLs play with their kids
Walter Kovacs replied to happymark's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I let my kids play with anything that is built. They are not allowed to pull out random pieces and build on their own. That's why they have their own LEGO. My son loves to play with my Bionicle and Exo-Force sets. My duaghter doesn't seem to care for LEGO that much. -
For those who can't remember (or be bothered to read the newspaper to find out), here is Stash's list: He was right about Dick being scum. He was wrong about Drake, though. He seems to have been pretty well informed about Ian, Erwin and Quinn. And again, the reason he put me on the list was because I asked him a few times for the scum he did know about so that I could do my job and investigate them. You know, get some proof that everyone so desparately wants in this town. He also had a beef with the fact that I have not revealed who the Roleblocker is. My reasoning is simple: 1) The Roleblocker can reveal themselves if they want. I will most certainly be happy to verify their identity if they do that. (and anyone who falsely announces the fact I will quickly denounce) 2) If I reveal their name, then the mobs can easily pick the person off at night. Or worse, convert them to their cause. Would you rather have the Roleblocker dead, working for the mob, or working for the town? I think working for the town is best. Since Stash was correct about Dick, I believe his claims about Alice. Everything else he stated has been mere supposition, from the looks of it. I haven't told the town publicly who I've investigated. Perhaps now is the time to do that (with one obvious omission). On night 1, I watched Percy Nutter. He performed no night action. Since it appears that there were three attempted conversions, this would clear him of being the Noodles boss. He could have been converted later, though. On Night 2, I watched Craig Boy. He performed no night action. On Night 3, I watched Hans Keen. He performed no night action. On Night 4, I watched Frank White. We all know what happened there. On Night 5, I watched Ian Deed. He performed no night action. On night 6, I watched our RoleBlocker bonk Stash on the head. As I have said several times, the RB will remain anonomous. On Night 7, I watched Ivan Cons. He performed no night action. Last night, I watched Sok117. He performed no night action. This list proves very little, except for the fact that Percy Nutter is not the Noodles Boss. The others could have been the boss, yet not been converting that night. Any of these people could be scum and not have a night action. The ones I watched early could have been converted later and picked up a night action. My job has been very frustrating, especially given the large number of suspects and small number of scum. The only real evidence I can obtain that proves scumminess is catching a killer or a conversion in the act.

You are strong in the force, youngling. Remember to let the force flow through you. Reach out, and your path will be clear. DS sent.

Good people of Alabatha, this is Ian Bradford speaking. As your mayor, I would like to encourage all of us to work together to rid our fair town of the communist filth that hide in the shadows.
