  1. Reminds me of the Nebulon B-2 Technicolor Yawn. But seriously, the shape looks really good. As someone else suggested, smoothing out some of the rough edges will go far (inverted slopes on the engine section?). Also, may I suggest that you cover the technic bricks with plates, or maybe tiles. Something to hide the holes. And I understand about lack of good color selection. You've done a good job considering that with a lack of proper color usually comes a restricted selection of parts. Overall, I like it.
  2. Don't look at me. I'm still struggling to win my second duel. I've received a Round 3 DS from KDM. Just waiting on C-Fox. (No hurry, as usual )
  3. No problem Ollivander Dippet vs Diana Fabray Health - 4................Health - 6 Low - 0....................Expelliarmus - 0 Expelliarmus - 0.........Crucio - 0 Mid - 0.......................Protego - 0 Expecto Patronum - 0...Low - 0 High - 0.........................Mid - 1 Health - 3......................Health - 6 Diana and Ollivander resume their contest. Ollivander tries a low hex, only to find his wand missing. Diana attempts to land a Cruciatus curse while Ollivander flails frantically for his wand, only to see her wand go flying across the room. Ollivander aims a hex at Diana's exposed midsection, but Diana is faster, and quickly throws up a protection spell. Diana fires a quick hex to knock Ollivander off balance, then another in quick succession. Ollivander manages to block the first with a Patronus, but catches the second in the chest as he tries to counter with an attack to the head. DS for Round 3 whenever you are ready. Oh, and DS sent to CMP.
  4. Wait, no one is picking ST V as their favorite movie? Anyway, I was really into ST when TNG first came out. Since then I have sort of cooled on the enitre franchise. Still, I do watch old episodes from time to time. Favorite Series: Tough call. I'll go with TOS here. Favorite Film: Another toughie. ST VI was great, as was II. But I think the re-boot gets my vote, as it was pretty well done. Favorite Character: As much as I don't like Shatner's acting style, Kirk was just such a brash and raw character. Episodes: Picard Gets Laid (not sure what the actual title on that one was).
  5. Surely you jest I don't know, looks pretty complete to me. I suppose a few details here and there need to be finished up?
  6. That is a real shame, cavegod. Especially considering how close to the end it looked like you were. I've dropped MOCs before, and know how frustrating it is to start over. So if you do decide to not rebuild, I would understand. But I would love to see you have another go at it. After all, you do have the parts just lying around (literally. They're there, right on the floor where you dropped them ).
  7. I've submitted my DS. Best of luck, Ron. I've received a Round 2 DS from KielDaMan. Awaiting one from Commander Fox. (No hurry. Time Zones are probably at work here.)
  8. I would agree with taking out Stash if we knew who the Noodles boss is. But we don't, and all indications are that we don't have a vigilante at any rate. If we had a clue who the boss was, I'd be all for going after Stash. But as it stands... There is always the possibility that Shaun is the Noodles boss. It's remote, granted, but the possibility is there. It would explain a lot if Shaun had a vest, instead of some "advanced training". After all, it is only Shaun's word that he doesn't have a vest. Who's to say he's not the one lying. And who's to say Stash and Shaun aren't working together, and Stash's sacrifice is only to protect someone "more valuable". Like I said, remote. But possible. I think my choice is clear here. Stash can wait, Shaun is more pressing. vote: Shaun Dows/Shadows
  9. Bitter rivals Ollivander Dippet and Diana Fabray clash once again, each intent on proving theirsuperiority, once and for all. As a side note, if I've made a mistake, let me know. First time Adjudicating jitters and all. Ollivander Dippet vs Diana Fabray Health - 5.................Health - 6 Expecto Patronum -0.....Crucio - 0 Mid - 0....................Expelliarmus - 0 Protego - 0...............Mid - 0 Low - 0.....................High - 1 Expelliarmus - 0.........Low - 0 Health - 4.................Health - 6 The more experienced Fabray tries to start quickly, firing off an unforgivable curse meant to annihilate her opponent quickly. But Ollivander has faced Diana before, and is ready with a Patronus charm. Hoping that this deft block has shocked his opponent, the Adept tries a quick spell to the midsection, but Diana merely flicks his wand away, rendering the attack null. Diana tries her own shot to the Gryffindor's torso, but Ollivander recovers his wand and blocks the spell in time. Both combatants then move to the attack, but Fabray's shot to the head lands, while Dippet misses low. Diana tries one last shot at Ollivander's legs, but finds her wand missing before she can complete the hex. Send in your DS for Round 2. Also, does anyone have a good method for getting the columns to line up? My way is clunky and tedius.
  10. Well, I don't know about great. Come to think of it, I don't know about handsome, either. I'm game. I'm always game.
  11. I'll do it. Send me DS for Round 1.
  12. Actually, I don't think voting is closed until there is a majority, which today is 16 votes. Until then, voting should be open and votes can be changed. We'll need Senator Zephington to verify that.
  13. I've seen the magazine as well. I don't recall seeing any "really good pictures". I do remember both sets showing up in the comic. Do those count?
  14. Wow. A lot has happened since I started to meditate on the facts. I will need some time to review what has been said before deciding on which side I stand. But first, some things need to be clarified. It's already been noted that it appears three conversions were attempted on Night 1. I have trouble accepting that Sandy was able to try twice in one night. I think Frank White was the so called "Man without Luck" proclaimed in the newspaper headlines. He tried and failed to convert Drake (and just why did he fail there, Drake?). He tried again to get the recently deceased Rick Russian, prompting him to say "Not again." Also, on Night 5 Frank White was already behind bars. Yet there were two conversions that night. The signs for the third family were out there. No one picked up on the facts. Yes, I have been trying to get info out of Stash for days. Why? Perhaps because I CAN SEE NIGHT ACTIONS AND PROVIDE SOME PROOF TO HIM? Yet he never trusted me, and now has made a personal attack on me as well.

  16. True, it would be nice to know who is throwing the rocks, and what their motives are. But if that person is loyal, it also makes them a huge target, when they could be a much needed ally. The blocker knows who they are. If they want to reveal themselves publicly, they can do it on their own. I am not going to be the cause of an innocent's downfall. And to clarify, I make no assertions that the role-blocker is loyal to the town. I hope my thought process is clear.
  17. Outside3 of our normal training regimen, I have had very little contact with my master. Err, former master. I began this ordeal trusting no one, and Jim Butcher gave me no reason to trust him. I did see domething, but I do not think it will help in our current plight. I saw who knocked out Stash. I will contact that person in Private, and if said individual wants to remain anonymous, then I will not go against their wishes. I would hate to imperil a loyal person's life through a bout of loose lips.
  18. Despite this thread being two years old, it seems people still wish to give their opinions. I voted for Ocean Odyssey, if for no other reason than I have a great dislike for those overused technic cannons. LEGO sort of overdid it with those a few years ago.
  19. STAP from D4 to E6 STAP from H6 to J7 STAP from Q22 to R20 STAP from P23 to Q21 Hailfire from J21 to L21 T-9
  20. Yeah, trying to guess when that Crucio was coming really disrupted my normal style. Since I never actually blocked it, perhaps I should just have gone all out anyway. And I seem to always forget to thank the ADJ. Thank you, CM.
  21. So close and yet so far...again. I'll get my second win yet. Nice duel KDM. I think I'm done for the week.
  22. This is about as even as it gets. I'm ready for you, Diana!
  23. Rats. Thought he was going to Stupify early in the round. Nice duel, Professor. KDM, were you still interested, or have you found other pursuits?
  24. Oof. Rough Second round. Let's hope this next round goes better...for me! DS sent.
