How is unloading battle droids handled? Say I wanted to unload 20 Battle Droids from an MTT, how many can I unload per turn, and how do they get deployed? Not that I'm planning on unloading them in 5 or 6 turns Also, do the larger vehicles, say an AT-TE, have to destroy the droids in front of them to move forward, or can they walk across the droids as if they aren't there? I apologize if you've answered this before. I didn't read through all 12 pages in this thread.

You're preaching to the choir here. I've been saying that for years. Somehow I get the feeling that LEGO has already designed it, and is keeping it for when the liscense finally runs out. Or they just don't know how badly I want one!

Well, I'm back from my business camping trip. What did I miss? Actually, I'm not surprised at the result, given how Day 3 started. I just wanted everyone to know without a doubt why I didn't jump on the lynching bandwagon. It wasn't for in-game purposes. -

Mace's Delta 7B looks much better than it does on the show. I suppose TLG knew it needed to be more than just plain white to catch the kids attention. The new speeder is very reminiscent of Count Dooku's in the Solar Sailor set (say that five times real fast). And two more STAPs are always welcome. I think it goes on my "Must Have" list. And I agree with Skafte. There are an egregious amount of stickers.

This was a very bold accusation from you, Shaun. But I have trouble doubting its validity. If Callie does end up a townie, you know that your fate is sealed. And if everything you say about this 'Night Watch' is true, then it truly was terrible luck that she was converted on Night 1. I forgot to mention that I have an important business trip this afternoon that will take me away from Eurodina. I will likely be away when the voting starts this afternoon, and might not get back before it concludes, judging by the fervor amongst you all. Do not take this as an unwillingness to vote, but merely as an inability to do it.

And how many of us in this town own an axe for chopping firewood? I certainly do. The fact that an axe was the murder weapon points the finger at noone. I know the fact that we lost Rick last night is disconcerting. He was a fine mechanic. He fixed my '46 Plymouth three months ago, and now it purrs like a kitten. But let's not go off the deep end and lynch the first person that comes into our sights. We've heard from Shaun and Ivan. Did anyone else see anything useful last night?

Nah, like I said, it will be months before my republic forces are in a photographable state. Besides, it'd look odd to have the republic fight itself. And this is just for fun anyway.

1) I think Masked Builder had already claimed the Republic side, so in order to play I needed to field the CIS side. 2) My Republic forces are in pieces right now, and from the look of things they are going to stay that way for a while (this MOC is killing me). 3) My CIS force is still sizable. 4) I assumed that I'd be able to field my republic forces eventually, depending on who I was facing. I'd even feel somewhat comfortable going against Jammiedodger's CIS army, although he would outnumber my army (his CIS force is huge). 5) I'm playing for fun. I don't get too nutsed up about a forum game like this one. Now a mafia game is something different.

TLG has been aggressive in getting leaked pictures of the Winter 2011 sets taken down. There have been no officially released photos, as of yet. But they are coming.

Actually, the story is a bit more convoluted than that. My wife knows what is on my wishlist. She found an original RGS set, mostly complete, on eBay for a good price, and won the auction. The description of the item said that two minifigs, one of the blue SBDs and the generic Jedi, were missing, with some parts possibly missing as well (we took this into the account when bidding, BTW). Knowing that the RGS was coming, I happily went to Bricklink and purchased the two missing minifigs. Two months and several e-mails later (which were never answered), the RGS never showed up. So we contacted eBay and got the transaction cancelled and our money refunded. In the time since all of this occured, my wife found another RGS on eBay for a good price (this one complete), so now I have three blue SBDs. And an extra generic Jedi And I would fix a broken SBD. The last five gray SBDs in the rows have their legs super-glued on. Hopefully they stay on this time -
I asked whether the Space Skeleton could be a new CIS ship a few pages back. I never intended it to be taken as gospel truth. You guys know as much as I do at this time. That is an excellent point. The thing that bugs me is the piece count. It doesn't fit with a Delta 7B, and the thought of a giant set of ribs floating in space doesn't fill me with a desire for this set, either. Especially since Mace's 7B is already mostly white. It doesn't add up. I think we need some prelim pictures, and soon.

Yeah, about that. It's grown by a few since then. Had to make sure I had enough clones to stuff into the new CTT (that I don't own yet ). I think I can safely say that I'm addicted. God help me if I ever see them on sale.

Show Your Army, Navy, and Collection Display

Since I had to photograph all of my CIS ground forces for ADHO's Clone Conflict, I thought I'd re-post my army here. Besides this thread could use a good bump. What isn't shown are my Vulture Droids, the Hyena Bomber, the Droid Gunship or my Tri-Fighter. But this is the bulk of it. Overall: Battle Droids: Rocket Battle Droids, Assassin Droids & Droidekas: Commanders & SBDs: Vehicles Part 1: Vehicles Part 2: Vehicles Part 3: I'll post an update to my Clone Army when I'm forced to. Most of it is in pieces right now, anyway. -
Make sure you check it well. I've been known to make mistakes from time to time. I may have the larger army, but strategy is not my strong suit. That'll even the playing field, won't it? My Republic army is even bigger. I am a huge fan of the Clone Walker BP.

Even worse than the Naboo N-1 Starfighter? I for one think it looks fantastic. But the price is a bit to steep for me to add it to my collection. If I see it on sale, I'll snap it up in a heartbeat, but until then it will have to stay a pipe dream (like so many other sets).
-
Could the Space Skeleton be a new CIS fighter that hasn't debuted yet? They could certainly use a little diversity on that side (Vulture Droid, Vulture Droid, Vulture Droid, Hyena, Vulture...). 40 euro seems awful steep for a Delta 7B, even with two BDs and a Tactical Droid. Oh and TACTICAL DROID!
-
Alrighty then. I've updated my post in the entry thread this morning. I was unsure which of the SBD's are the Heavy SBD's, but I have three of the blues and three with the blaster arm, so I assumed I have three Heavy SBDs no matter which way they fall. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I've recently discovered books on CD at my local library, since I spend so much time commuting. I am currently listening to Dune Messiah by Frank Herbert. I read the entire Dune series years ago, but this time I'm going to carry it through the books his son helped write, since it is quite obvious that Chapterhouse: Dune wasn't the end Herbert intended. As for actual books, I am still in the middle of Lady Chatterly's Lover by D.H. Lawrence. I would have finished a long time ago if something, ANYTHING, would actually happen in the book. For a book about sex, it really is very dry. I wouldn't recommend it, but I'm too stubborn to stop reading it altogether. I'm looking forward to finishing Stephen King's Dark Tower septet. I've read the first four books, only three more to go.

That's certainly part of it. The other part is that the pro game seems too focused on personal showmanship, and not as focused on the team game. I prefer teams that do a lot of passing, practice unselfish play and have tenacious defense. I'm fine if my team doesn't have a single slam dunk in a game. Missouri's team is currently built this way, and I love it. I also dislike the 7 1/2 steps or so that pro players seem to be allowed nowadays. Didn't that used to be called travelling at one time?

That should put Day 3 starting some time on Friday (at least in my time zone). That should give me a few hours to post in the Day 3 thread before I go on my weekend camping trip, and I should just catch the end of Day 3 as well. Looks like the timing, while not ideal, will at least work out. -
See if you can spot a trend here. Hockey: St Louis Blues (let's go BLUES!) Baseball: St Louis Cardinals (A winning season, yet still very disappointing) American Football: St Louis Rams (2 wins already!!! This team is spoiling us.) American College Football: Mizzouri Tigers (4-0 on their way to 10-1) Basketball: Missouri Tigers (I hate the NBA, love college hoops, though) Football: No specific team. I'll watch a game if it's on, though.
