Post your general LEGO Star Wars questions here

Yeah, it's the nose vents... the 'frown' is markedly deeper on the Rebels stormies than others. It's off-putting! But I've grown to accept it, and it IS a cheap way to army-build the crap outta stormtroopers... but it'd be SO MUCH BETTER if it was 4 sw585s instead, y'know? -

In terms of detail & whatnot, the Rebels version is really good... if you can get past the "frown" then it'd probably rank 2nd. sw366 from the Endor BP & Ewok Village is a good choice with nice detailed armor & a great helmet, but lacks leg printing... sw122 from 7264 Imperial Inspection has printed legs which are pretty neat, but it's very dated... Then there are the battle-damaged ones from this year's Imperial Battle Pack, too. -

The latest version, from the Star Destroyer/UCS Slave I/2015 Advent Calendar, I think. Leg printing, great detailing, nice helmet... -

Most likely, yeah... Junior sets might be able to squeak by such a contractual restriction, but maybe not. -
"The Crimson Corsair and the Lost Treasure of Count Dooku", an eBook short story published back in December (along with a number of others, focusing on minor/background characters in TFA)

It's possible Luke & Lando didn't get as much interest because there was all that speculation about a "UCS Cloud City" awhile back, before we knew it was Hoth, and/or knowledge of the Carbon Freeze set perhaps causing many to think Lego was finally gonna revisit Cloud City in a big way (meaning new Bespin Luke & Lando would be givens). That's one reason I, personally, didn't jump on the Luke design (which, yeah, was fantastic! Especially having that Luke hair dyed dark tan...I'm using the medium dark flesh version from Nexo Knights on my ANH Luke right now; it's better than tan, but not quite as perfect as dark tan would be!). It's been a long wait for updated Bespin Luke & Lando... and looks to be longer still, now!

Nobody is going to sue fans who have bootleg Lego minifigs in their photos. Nobody. -
I was thinking about that... it's a possibility, but I think it unlikely... part of why Giant-Man works is he's got that helmet. Brick-building Snoke's "standard minifig head with jaw damage" might be possible, but I'm not sure it'll be the effect they'd want in a set. I do hope we see more "Giant-Man"-style builds in the future, regardless of theme. Haven't picked up that set, yet, but it's on my short-list of big sets to get over the next year... Kix... Tup was the one whose chip malfunctioned, leading him to execute Jedi Master Tiplar during a battle and nearly exposing the Sith's plot to use the clones as weapons against the Jedi. It'd be nice to get a minifig of him, as well as Echo, Fives, and other notable 501st clones, but I don't think it terribly likely unless Kix turns up in some major visual media (Episode VIII, some new TV series, etc) with the Crimson Corsair. Mentioning him tho is making me think up ways to customize a minifig of his 'awakened' self... he likely wouldn't still be running around in his old 501st armor, but some outfit featuring blue deco, maybe a touch of red to indicate his medic roots... maybe a red bandana? I mean, he's part of a pirate crew now, after all

No misinterpreting... just giving my approval to the possibility! TLG already covered much of what TFA had to offer for ships & playset environments, but they could always do a "Cantina" set for Maz's castle featuring the likes of those guys!

He's tall because he's meant to scale with Gizmo...not next to 'normal' minifigs. This is just fan-art, but it illustrates it pretty well... Gremlins are taller than Mogwai. Gizmo looks a lot better than I thought he would based on the trailer (tho the plain white legs are a little...well..plain! Mostly because they're so bright compared to the white print on his torso, I guess, but some cute little toes like Stitch has would be welcome)! Spike looks pretty good! Nice 'monster' potential reuse in his body & leg prints.- 527 replies

Pru Sweevant would be pretty simple as he doesn't really require a new mold, just new colors for the beard & "Shakespeare" headpiece (tho I'd hope they'd be bluer than what's in that image; not crazy about the face print or head color either). I'd love Crimson Corsair & Quiggold minifigs, tho of course they'd require new molds which means someone else might not get a new mold (I'd love a "Sullustan hat & ears" headpiece even more than a Quiggold head or Corsair helmet)

I always liked the look of the Dracula/Sinestro hair piece on him... the shape isn't quite right, really, but I liked it. The Finn hairpiece isn't too shabby. Both are superior to the standard Male Hair Lego gave the old versions of him...

Review: 41180: Ragana's Magic Shadow Castle

Isn't that grey arm just this? They debuted in 2012 in the Arkham Asylum set, but they immediately took a break until last year... now they're in a few sets, including the TARDIS and in the Gollum Dimensions set. -
They're too pricey now, maybe, because there's only one Combat Driver available... how many BP AT-AT Drivers' legs would you need to replace, anyway? If it's only one or two, that's not too big a deal (or just get whole Combat Drivers and give 'em plain dark bley legs & leave 'em in the rear ranks or stuck in a vehicle where you wouldn't see leg printing anyway! With plain legs, they still fit the Rebels aesthetic where we sometimes get unprinted legs, as seen in both A-wing pilots they've made based on the show) If you want that AT-AT Driver and your snowtroopers to have different printing, tho, here's another option for the Snowtroopers aside from the AT-DP Driver legs: The football player's legs. They're very plain, but have kneepads, which are pretty much the defining characteristic of snowtrooper legs aside from the boots... from what I've seen, snowtroopers don't have pockets on their pants like the AT-DP Driver legs anyway, so it's a viable option IMO. Plus, they're not too pricey!

The Alien Villainess from CMF Series 8 also had a dark purple cape, and currently there's the Headless Horseman from the Scooby Doo line with a dark purple cape. But Maleficent may be the one to go for! It's current, it's two-toned... you can have the black as the "inside" to match the shadow that'll be on her face (for the TTG Dimensions version, at least).

...or you can remove the dragons & Elves, plop CMF Maleficent in there, give her a red lightsaber, and voila! A Dark Lady of the Sith in her fortress on an alien world. -
No, just trans-black (including the Grievous deco) & trans-red, until this set (not sure about any other sets this summer)

No. Someone will post about them when they hear anything, it's not like they'll forget something big like that. Patience. "We'll get there when we get there!"

With the "Planet Hulk" rumors surrounding Hulk's involvement, a gladiator-armored Hulk would probably be the variation we'd see in any Ragnarok set!

If you're not gonna wait until RO, the Tydirium and the Resistance Troop Transporter are both at a nice discount (23% & 20% respectively) -
Why shouldn't Raven be smiling? She smiles! Especially if thinking about Beast Boy when nobody's watching...or when thinking about Pretty Pretty Pegasus.

LEGO Dimensions Physical Brick Discussion

It's just because it's based on Teen Titans Go, like that Beast Boy. She's basically a head-swap away from being a decent comic-version, and it's quite possible she'll get such a version in some Bats/DC set next year, considering pre-TTG Teen Titans Beast Boy, Starfire, and Robin are in the Jokerland set. I'm not sure they'll ever really do a cartoon-based Cyborg (from either series) but the Darkseid/Dimensions version is fitting enough to go with the Jokerland trio, leaving Raven as the one missing character... maybe it'll take them awhile (like getting all 4 other members of Ultimate Spidey's team, which we finally have with this year's White Tiger) but they'll probably get to her soon.- 527 replies

The Imperial Combat Driver's legs? They're the only dark bley ones I can think of (or find, at a glance) with a decent array of pockets to match Imperial suits. You could use the legs as-is or just put the legs on the light bley hips of the AT-AT Driver.

Undoubtedly. Remember, Leia, Ackbar, and Maz weren't in the first wave of TFA sets. For all we know, all 4 BPs in the winter could be Rogue One based (probably only two, tho; I'm more leaning towards an Imperial one featuring a couple stormies--one with pauldron & backpack probably--and a couple Death Troopers, and a Rebel one with a couple of the newer helmets/uniforms... there are many ways the BPs can go, of course)
