  1. For my non-pilot Wedge right now, I think I've got this very basic head on him (I don't have a pic handy, but he's made from Han's ANH torso with black arms, ROTJ Han's reddish-brown legs & gunbelt, and normal short tousled black hair). Other options I like are Philip's head from POTC...his brows are dark brown rather than black, but I still think they'd work, and he's got two expressions as well. Another option that seems reasonable and has black brows is the smirking 'clone' head found in a few BPs, Prototype Fett, etc. It's terrible as a clone, naturally, but could work for a serious but friendlier Wedge. For Tycho... it's tough. There are many decent options if you don't mind his brows being reddish brown or darker. His comic appearance fluctuated a lot, so his hair color changes quite a bit and Hasbro's own figure of him (as an A-wing pilot) gave him bright light blond hair, which I'm not too keen on... for something more middle of the road, the Luke head from the Death Star Final Duel could work nicely.
  2. Electro's a good example! Print Obi-Wan's robes on that medium blue torso, include the trans-med-blue arms, med-blue hands maybe, translucent legs, medium blue hips... some light-colored hair. It could work, and Yoda's Hut would be a great place for it should that set become a reality.
  3. Yeah... parts-pack, I guess. Not sure what I'm gonna do with 4 giant purple wheels, tho...maybe make some wacky monster-truck for Joker? The figures look great tho! It's an odd disconnect that using both Hulk molds leads to one having molded toes, but the other not... She-Hulk looks great, as does Red She-Hulk (whose hair can be used for a Marvel Comics-style Victoria Hand!). And now when Iron Man shouts "Underoos!", this Hulk bigfig can answer the call...
  4. I think an ankylosaur would be better for Macy, given its knobby club-like tail! Triceratops for Axl, for sure... he's got a horned helmet and is a big bruiser, Triceratops has horns & is a big bruiser (plus, the Jurassic World sets didn't reuse the awesome-looking Triceratops mold from the previous Dino theme, so... it's overdue!)
  5. There will likely be many villains (and perhaps heroes!) in the movie for mere seconds, too, so that's not a bad thing at all! (Wiley gave us the coonskin cap and a reddish-brown beard, too! He's great!)
  6. Nexo Knight Dino Riders? Yes please!
  7. Yes! That'd be great... I used Mr. Freeze's head & some LOTR/Chima/Viking parts to make a frost warrior with an ice-axe... kinda "White Walker"-ish. A Frost Giant or some such in a CMF would be wonderful, whether based on the MCU version or not.
  8. I thought all Lego Stores get all the retailer-exclusives? EDIT: Ah, NVM, just saw the talk from the rest of the last page. Strange move for Lego... eh, as long as it's on S@H, shouldn't be too bad.
  9. That'd be pretty great! I liked the Legend Beasts from Chima, and was kinda disappointed to see that as only a one-off series. Thirding (or whatever!) Scurrier packs. A Scurrier/Squirebot-ish (or villager-bots) Battlepack type set could work, too. Or Scurrier & whatever new mini monsters (water, wood, etc) happen later. If the jet-horses ever get an updated build, maybe that could happen (tho probably more likely it'd be more Legend-Beast-style, each Knight having their own robo-mount). At least it shouldn't be too difficult to BL the jet-horses, since there are so many parts in common (and even the newer parts/colors will likely become a bit more common as their use expands across more sets). I'm down for more structures, and of course more monsters! The vehicles have mostly been lacking for me in this first batch... some nice monster builds, and neat elements abound, but many of the vehicles leave me disappointed.
  10. Nooooooooo, no no no. It's usually sold out by the end of November. The purpose of the calendar is to count down the days until Christmas in December, so releasing it at the end of November kinda defeats that whole idea. It should be released in the next month or two, I imagine.
  11. Yeah, considering he was only a villain while controlled by Hive, him joining up seems likely. He's got the accent & attitude missing since Hunter left, the power to replace Lincoln... one nice thing about his character is we can pretty much build our own Lego version of him, complete with fiery chain, right now! At least, until/unless he gets his own unique SHIELD outfit or other superperson costume.
  12. Yeah, I think the hammer would be used. It's pretty distinct, and having translucent pyramids on it will set it nicely apart from Macy's mace. I'm actually really looking forward to seeing it happen in a set, and how people will use the hammerhead piece elsewhere.
  13. Queen Halbert's armor is gold with a blue helmet & gold visor (and blue trim among the gold armor print on her torso & legs), and she carries a warhammer (kinda looks like Thor's hammerhead as a separate piece on a longer bar, but the hammerhead also has studs on the ends & top with the new 1x1 pyramid slope in trans-light-blue, I think, on the ends... I've only found the top in a fan art piece, but it seems like a 2x1 version of those new pyramid slopes, unless such a piece exists already and I'm blanking on finding it). I expect she'll turn up next year maybe?
  14. Like someone else said, Scorpion with regular legs might be a good alternative to the bridge version. The Spidey is maybe a little dull, but I like having a new expression... if you've got multiple Spidey figs in your collection, swapping out the regular heads with the MM expressions is a nice way to liven 'em up! And using the extra heads on the MM Spidey figs, you can then put the figs in your Lego Halloween displays. All they need is this with a handle! The Gauntlet car is fun, as are the X-Men cars... and while I appreciate that Magneto's head will be useful in making a Symbiote Spidey or Agent Venom, hopefully, I'm getting tired of Wolvie & Mags being constants...wish Disney would start up a new X-Men animated series, so maybe Lego could make more sets, but I imagine Fox has a piece of the action, unlike Sony when it comes to the Ultimate Spider-Man shows. All in all, a solid 2nd wave of this line for both DC & Marvel!
  15. And we could always get a proper Shazam later, or even in TLBM sets... but a MM version could then be parts-swapped into a Mary Marvel!
  16. Yep, it's this piece, used for Shredder and the Nexo Knights Ash Attacker minifigs...Doomsday marks its debut in white!
  17. Yes they obviously they must happen
  18. I think Nsk meant Doomsday, as he'd be pretty solid with regular legs (tho still has a cartoony head), and naturally a lot of people expect a bigfig of him eventually.
  19. Yeah, his torso's a bit plain (and the belt too thick), and his face is cartoony of course... but it gives me hope of getting a regular Bizarro minifig in the somewhat near future (likely without the medal of the SDCC version, so more like in the Bizarro League cartoon... maybe a new expression or two on the head, maybe with the Business Zombie hair in black, if not just the regular tousled black hair of the cartoon/SDCC one) Doomsday's a bit cartoony of course, but still probably would look pretty good with new legs as a 'regular' Doomsday (until we get the inevitable bigfig). Love the vehicles this time around, especially the Supermobile & Bizarromobile. Never thought I'd see Supes' old ride in Lego form! And the chibi '60s Batcopter!
  20. I think you put the cape on it... like, remove the ball at the top, place cape/collar over the exposed axle (facing the wall of course, otherwise the cape part wouldn't work), replace ball, so the cape/collar combo kinda hides the ball & the bar from certain angles...so when you press on the lever behind the wall, voila! Levitating cape. Probably something from the film (whether or not it makes it into the final cut) where Strange removes the cape & it just levitates wherever he leaves it.
  21. Yes! Dark tan is wonderful. I still have to snap a pic of my ANH Luke wearing Nexo Knights' Robin's hair (which is medium dark flesh, I think)... it's a smidge better than regular tan, but nowhere near as nice as dark tan'd be. The leg-printing thing has bothered me for years now... with stormies & clones & whatnot, I wish they'd just bump up the 'kneepad' areas a hair to put a bottom line on 'em. It's a Rebels A-wing pilot, and outside of Legoland California I'm not sure it's been said how it'll turn up in wider release. We won't see any Resistance A-wing pilots until VIII at the earliest! Unless they'll be New Republic A-wing pilots... But we can make our own very specific Resistance A-wing pilot by putting a Duros head on the A-wing pilot body from 75003, which makes L'ulo. He's a former member of Green Squadron from the Battle of Endor--as shown in Marvel's Shattered Empire--who flew with Poe's mom and later joined Poe's Black Squadron in the Resistance, shortly before TFA, still wearing his same ol' 30-year-old flight suit and flying his same ol' 30-year-old A-wing.
  22. It's a new torso AND leg print...even the head print is new (the bared teeth are not the same as the teeth on this guy)
  23. I agree that Leia's awesome... hopefully TLG will go with something like that when they get around to updating her, but hopefully they'll ignore the game graphics for TFA Luke!
  24. Am I the only one who doesn't think he looks amazing? They got his outfit wrong! He's got a robe print & sleeves as if he's wearing a dark tan version of Cantina Obi-Wan's reddish brown bathrobe, and they put a cape on him! Luke doesn't wear a bathrobe over his outfit. That much was abundantly clear from his scene in the film; instead of a robe, he wears a hooded cloak. No sleeves. If they made the figure based on this art, it'd be wrong, wrong, wrong. He needs white arms, which would be easy enough to fix on our own, but no dark-tan printing of a bathrobe on the sides... just the white shirt & tan tabards. That's it. Then give him a dark tan cloak & a dark tan hood to swap with his hair, and he'd be fine.
  25. Atom from The CW, tho (Arrow, Flash, Legends of Tomorrow), just to clarify. Don't mind that one so much (at least until I see it!), but the new Cap costume being an exclusive bugs me (just like Falcon-as-Cap from last year bugged me... supporting TV characters might work, and obscure variants of characters might work, but not "Hey, this is the new hyped look for this character! Let's make it nearly impossible to own!") At least they don't do this with SW characters really... "Oh, you guys wanted Bespin Luke? Here you go, SDCC exclusive! Wait, there's more, here's Bespin Lando, too!"
