  1. I could buy three Wolfpack Beastmaster CMFs in a store for LESS than a single Arctic fox on B&P. Make it make sense. I feel your extra level of pain Also for those who can’t see, the existing wolf hasn’t been included in B&P at all either, despite featuring in the City set. So, y’know, ‘decisions have been made’ at some level to leave that exclusive to a chase CMF or a high value set. Logically though - had it been priced any lower than the fox it would be madness. So maybe we have just been spared it being listed for £20 a go 🤷🏽‍♂️
  2. I may have just written a strongly-worded email to Lego. I feel the £11 fox is the figurative straw on this camel’s back. I was already mad at, and offended by, the animals stuck behind the Harry Potter licence paywall. Given the quality and range of animals we have seen as accessories in CMFs in recent years there can really be no justifiable reason for any small/medium Lego animals to be priced as parts at anything greater than the RRP of a CMF.
  3. The Shetland ponies I’m glad I already bought on Bricklink Are there? Some of the animals get resisted but are the same. Does anyone own two different gulls? I would have thought they might redo it in solid plastic but I’ve not seen anyone say that’s the case The hare is also listed as two separate numbers but I don’t think they vary Tsk. *jaguar
  4. Lololol £11.12 for the tiny fox, in one colour, with very basic printing. top trolling Lego
  5. I would have expected those ones to take a little longer, to be fair. They’ve hardly been out any time, and are clearly the draw of that one set. As an aside, I am increasingly feeling the pull of *some* of the Friends style animals: first it was the chonky cats, then it was the chonky corgis, and most recently the new chonky pandas and the sweet wee Shetland ponies are rather awesome.
  6. I predict wolf - on par with grey goat, so around £5 tan pup - just shy of £2 arctic fox - £3.75 pigeon - £4
  7. time to place our bets on the (obviously astronomical) prices for _ pigeons _arctic foxes _wolves _tan puppy I’m off to remortgage my house…
  8. indeed, and while you could, plausibly, get away with just head printing on a light grey bird to represent the shrike, a robin will surely need at least chest printing - which we haven’t seen before on that mould.
  9. Interesting. What aren’t you telling us? That shrike is basically the same as Eurasian species so that’s a wide ranging ‘looking’ bird, and I’d guess the robin might be similarly stylised rather than specific. If they’re both using the existing small bird mould, will be interesting to see how they develop printing ability on such a small piece.
  10. It’s a stealth thread. @Lion King operates on a highly-classified basis.
  11. I think we all do that. Though I cannot help but notice that no one suggests ‘Terracotta Warrior’ these days, like we all collectively agreed to give up!
  12. We can almost hear the disdain with which you wrote ‘football player man’ and ‘gamer kid’ 😝 This is just a couple of slots away from a full-on Post Apocalyptic themed series. You’re gonna be so disappointed when we get the blandest costume figures and at least a couple of ‘kids who have an accessory thing!’
  13. Okay let’s go! 1. Sorceress with raven 2. Eagle hunter (with new perched eagle mould) 3. Pigeon fancier (with pigeon/s) 4. Avocado costume fan 5. Classic castle costume fan (large headpiece, in yellow, of a castle turret) 6. Roman standard bearer 7. Egyptian Queen (Nefertiti, with new headdress) 8. Celtic warrior with carnyx 9. Bush vet with kangaroo 10. Retro rocketeer 11. Curling champion (new curling stone mould & brush) 12. Lumberjill with brick-built chainsaw & beaver
  14. We should definitely know by now not to try and apply logic to the CMF line up
  15. Yeah so I think that’s where it all comes down to what figures float your boat. I’d rather have lots of variants of those than, say, another surfer or gamer
  16. I think a lot of these are invariably *meh* to me - but the two Dia de los Muertos figures are SWEEET
  17. The drought continues
  18. Yeah I’m confused by the cat colour - it looks white to me too, but then the inside of the ears looks ‘lighter’. I think the reason the croc and lion are shown as they are is that they have attached tails, or maybe just a super long mane, behind.
  19. Pleasantly surprised by most of these. I like the fact that several so far make use of the ‘mouth’ as the opening for the minifig face, it makes them much more useful in customs and to use elsewhere. Surprised that the peacock head is a single mould - I assumed they’d somehow use a hole and an existing accessory for the crest.
  20. @Roebuck said a deer (with Santa)
  21. I think we need a whole CMF of just Jeffrey Combs & Susie Plakson aliens to feature in it 🤣
  22. I can only surmise that it’s something along the lines of the sets they already released as ‘family tree’ and ‘ travel map’, but this one has a Christmas theme - in an effort to make it a kinda Christmas tradition set … who knows
  23. Transporter room is such a good call, would be perfect for figure display.
