  1. Probably, but that’s a little boring … I’d assume it was generic rather than species specific. But if I had to choose, I’d suggest either a goldfish or a clownfish
  2. But it was written in English, and in English an orangutan is most definitely not a monkey.
  3. Depends whether the HP mould is under some licence lock. I expect a new mould for the parrot, but the existing mould for the peacock. I would think that the lizard mould won’t be reused - it’s not croc enough, PLUS it’s really old, and hasn’t seen any reuse since CMF series 5, which was fourteen years ago, I think! Would love to see a dorsal tail piece like the lizard costume used show up again though. I think I’m most interested to see how they tackle the dolphin & the fish, as well as whether the frog costume gets any new feet elements.
  4. Still think this is an odd take given that a) CMFs make new animals available at a relatively low price point (rather than buying a huge set) b) in time almost every animal that’s come in CMFs has appeared somehow afterwards in sets, BAM, and /or Bricks & Pieces
  5. There’s an existing boomerang piece. I don’t think any of the accessories stand out as being, or including, new moulds
  6. All the more reason to lobby for a ‘vintage’ circus train, from the opening scene of Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade … licensed sets get away with much more
  7. Yeah what Roebuck said. Leaks we haven’t liked have all proved true lately, and this list seems very detailed and believable. Also, it seems to feature a lot of required new parts to create the listed figures, meaning less new moulds for accessories, and any animals *are* usually picked up by leakers. What we have instead is a series of detailed accessories which don’t require new moulds.
  8. I mean, you can obviously be happy with the costumes, but you have to acknowledge it’s a kicker not to have any actual animals in this series (save maybe a recoloured clam) - ESPECIALLY coming after the F1 series with no animals, and the Spiderverse one with useless animals.
  9. Right? It’s not as if we don’t get plenty animal costumes too Amen. I had a sinking feeling that this would happen too. *throws things* *kicks the black cat coming in BAM*
  10. 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 THREE CMFs in a row with no usable animals.
  11. I wouldn’t *expect* a new animal mould in a GWP, but I’d say that the most likely new sparkly patronus to appear would be a Jack Russell terrier
  12. Honestly - a relief. My hopes weren’t high anyways, but if a highland cow had arrived as an HP licenced animal, I’d have lost it ;)
  13. Please, not more exclusive animals hidden behind the HP paywall 😡
  14. I mean. Whatever. But you picked the wrong hobby if you ever think Lego will come around to your ‘world view’
  15. Just a whole series of Ryker in various states of undress / sexy time clothes 😆
  16. I really wish this was accompanied by a TNG CMF. Locutus, Tasha, Lwxana, Pulaski, Barclay, O’Brien, K’ehleyr, Q, Lore, Gowron, Tomalak & Ro Laren … that would do nicely.
  17. There are also a slew of previously used costume parts that can easily be reprinted and recoloured and re-purposed - both to make variants and/or entirely new animals
  18. This would be a lot to hope for though. Especially where new moulds are needed for both (I know they are not always required, but still) The elephant girl remains an outlier in costumes yielding new animal moulds.
  19. You mean the Spidey versions? I hope so too, but not sure there’s even a precedent for that
  20. Do not threaten us with a good time!!
  21. Guessing this might include the leaked, slightly strange, trans axolotl figure that looked way too big for any normal (eg City) set …
  22. No it wasn’t even that, despite the rubber duck mould being in existence. It was a chicken, and a ‘small bird’ as the duck.
  23. I also think that the AFOL faction chat is just that - AFOL chat. When putting together CMF rosters it’s fair to assume that they consider figures that look good, are fun, and engaging to the core demographic (remember, that’s kids). So it’s less about whose turn it is, and more about what figures are most appealing. That’s also why I think it’s reasonable to assume that some of the ‘new’ factions, like Kraken & Griffin knights, will get some corresponding CMF figures, which will both expand their ranks, and cash-in on figures that are already popular but less easy to get. Apropos of Raven Knights specifically, we’d have to be daft to think no-one at Lego was looking at how to put them and the Dreamzzz raven mould together somehow!
  24. OMG I’d forgotten about the chick & duck fiasco
