  1. RRR is my favourite set *ever*. I get what you mean So could Lego-ize them. Legostone Park, anyone?
  2. Lol I forgot that mountain bike. That was ridiculous.
  3. Depends what they do with the kangaroo, tbh I’d say they’d go for a smaller version that would fit in CMF boxes easily (we have had dolphins, foals, snake tails, centaur bodies - we can manage a kangaroo Also having the koala and cockatoo in existence would make it simple to do an Australian subtheme now: they could get away with just having a new kangaroo, and reusing koala, cockatoo, spiders, snakes and crocs. Whilst I’d love more North American animals 🦬🦫🦝, I assume you guys mean a ‘US National Parks’ theme?
  4. Would be really interesting to see that new ‘baby’ pterosaur compared alongside the original single-piece pterosaur from about 25 years ago.
  5. It can hardly be worse
  6. It’s quite a surreal departure for the CMF line. Almost as surreal as Spidey-dinos. 2025 - Lego’s Fever Dream year
  7. Think they have given the designers a year off and just used AI
  8. An outrage. Are we supposed to survive on just a new wolf, cockatoo & cat? Won’t someone think of the children, etc
  9. I think for me, as time and series go on, I find them more polarised. That might be fatigue of some archetypes, for example the routine animal costumes, and City ‘kids doing things’ figures I almost dismiss on sight. That said, some of the historical and fantasy figures seem so much better, and they definitely do so much better with animal accessories these days. I would say that the inclusive elements like prosthetics, cochlear implants etc are one of the things that *does* elevate a City figure for me.
  10. But for now we can just pop the five cats on the roof of the Parisian Restaurant and know who they are
  11. And back in the day that was indeed the GOAT
  12. Fun fact, the three OG kitten colours corresponded with the kittens in Disney’s Aristocats. We have had several ‘orange’ cats which could be a stand-in for Thomas O’Malley, and now the white long haired cat in CMF would complete the core characters as ‘Duchess’. Now we just need some comedy hounds, gossiping geese, a mouse wearing a deer-stalker hat, and some Jazz-cats 😜 Thanks, I couldn’t make out the intended species. Interesting that a lot of effort goes into making some species-specific moth/butterfly prints, and others are just made up. Lego Lepidoptera are confusing
  13. No, but both CMF series for the movie had *some* variants of Batman. There were also others dotted amongst sets, and in various small packs etc.
  14. ??? That seems … unlikely
  15. At this stage I’m just as bored by that shepherd puppy as I was by the adult version
  16. Boooooooooo … poor show
  17. Yep, honestly some of the non-reused animals are head-scratchers, but also things like the flamingo and mouse are clearly complex moulds and not ‘cheap’ either. I would always assume the introduction of any new animal was done with a view to using it as many times and in as many themes as possible, but I think that link was broken by the PoP ostrich and camel blowout, and has since also been trampled by both CMFs and the HP theme* in particular. * like, I LOVE owls, but we are very owl-heavy in the Lego bestiary
  18. I think that’s an assumption by some who need the gender binary, I’d assume the cat lover is non-binary or trans. Also as others have pointed out, some figures are always gender ambiguous, assumptions notwithstanding … in this series that could be the Bogeyman, but it’s certainly true of figures like the Yeti, various aliens, and many others This. It’s deliberate. If folk want to get mad or argue that away - fine, you do you. Lego has clearly said it values diversity and us making steps to give representation across its products and on many ‘issues’. I am sure many people will recognise and value the symbolism in this figure. In the past (especially on here, but also other forums) whenever anyone has dared to suggest that figures are, or *could be*, trans, it has been pounced on and slammed down, often really unpleasantly. I’d hope we have moved on from that. At the end of the day, interpret the figure however you want to … but you can do that without punching down on anyone else. FWIW - all of my Lego minifigures are LGBTQ+ 🤷🏽‍♂️ * fun fact - there have now been several Lego torsos using the pink/white/blue colours of the trans Pride flag, used in many sets. I don’t think that’s by accident. Yep.
  19. Cobra was a BAM regular for a good while
  20. Yes. Here’s hoping they thrive now that there’s a steady supply of Lego goats for them to snack on ;)
  21. Hare agree. Not a surprise that they went this route with the figure - but it’s ‘meh’ for me too.
  22. If you don’t think representation matters, then lucky you!
  23. Pretty sure that new long-haired mould will be repurposed in the Harry Potter theme
  24. Word. Or just a non-binary person. Happy to see it. High time that we had a series where male characters weren’t the majority of representation imho. We have had plenty in the past which were massively male-skewed
