  1. I don’t understand. Who be getting GOAT goats?
  2. Still only seen these in two places locally, and they have been well-scalped immediately (not by me!)
  3. Sure. The goat is definitely an outlier though, for perceived ‘worth’. Same is true of the baby elephant from a couple years back - it was silly money on Bricks & Pieces
  4. I’m here for it. Lego city certainly needs a tropical bird park next to the Botanic Gardens 🦜🦩🦚
  5. It’s not my fault they don’t listen to me!
  6. Dunno though, we seem to have jumped onto the wrong timeline since Irish reunification didn’t happen in 2024 ;)
  7. Today I finally received the first outstanding B&P order from October: just gorilla arms. Quite the saddest parcel I have ever received from Lego 😭 Finally picked up some S27 figures today, though the box had already mysteriously been ravaged of wolfs! Both the new cat and cockatoo are great. The cat is slightly taller at the head than the existing one, and they have offset the legs the opposite way to the existing mould, which is a nice subtle variation. Will be interesting to see if /how they print stripes on if we see it recoloured as a tabby in HP fire example. The cockatoo is dual moulded, accounting for the crest. Despite my earlier attestations based on rendered pics, the crest is standard yellow, though the cheek patch is bright yellow-orange. That means it’s much more a generic yellow crested cockatoo (though the ‘common’ one in Australia doesn’t have the visible cheek patches 🤓) I’m not sure if there’s much mileage in cockatoo recolours, but I suppose some are possible in the future. Maybe we will get one of the pink ones.
  8. Ensign Ro in a shuttlecraft, surely?
  9. There better be a Tasha Yar hologram…
  10. And, previously, when set names looked promising, they yielded nothing! But then, the great Lego City Squirrel Plague was not announced …
  11. I mean, I agree. But specifically black 🤣
  12. Plus two recolours of the classic snake! Slim pickings indeed, it’s like being at the Cratchett’s for Christmas dinner
  13. I like the idea, but it seems a bit ‘meh’ to me in its realisation
  14. Still quite strange to have both of them as ‘one and done’ in CMFs, given they have complex moulds though. I wonder if the toucan will join that group too …?
  15. That vehicle does not look safe to operate
  16. It’s pretty surprising it didn’t get some purposeful reuse though. Baffling like the single-appearance flamingo! Must be prohibitively expensive to produce.
  17. Yeah it’s also a complicated mould with two colours and materials, so I doubt we would see it in BAM realistically Ye Olde Rattlesnake is coming in lots of new colours lately, which is quite shocking when it used to be so limited. Honestly surprised a new mould hasn’t usurped it, as it’s quite ‘specific’… but creepy crawlies don’t get the same love as cute and cuddly mammals & birds By my count it’s gonna now exist in red, green, black, lime, light grey, dark blue, dark green, tan and teal. Getting up there in competition with the frog!
  18. I’d love to see a kingfisher mould in Lego! Some chat in the BAM thread that a new ‘cheese costume’ figure will come with a “mouse” as an accessory. If it’s just the same old rat - meh. But if it’s a reuse or recolour of the sweeeeeet mouse from CMF series 18 - then YES PLEASE
  19. Same mould for belugas and narwhal, just have an attachable tusk.
  20. I’m with you in this, though I do think that if we see more cetaceans, that an orca calf or a narwhal is probably more likely. That said, when was Lego ever predictable within its animal moulds?
  21. I had a crocagator B&P issue a couple months back when they were left tail-less too … but that was sorted more quickly
  22. @Aurore you have such a wonderful eye and imagination in putting parts together, I’m in awe.
  23. Can’t believe you’re making jokes when Lego is dealing in the trade of parts of endangered species! 😱
