Here's the third installment for my Marvel Cinematic Universe Collectible Minifigure Series! I have posted some of the minifigs in this installment before (earlier this year), and parts from Megabloks *gasp* were used. Everything else was either made by me or modified LEGO pieces. Alright, let us begin; the third part in my Marvel Cinematic Universe Collectible Minifigure Series! Movies from this installment include: X-Men (2000), X2 (2003), and X-Men: The Last Stand (2006). 27 - Professor Charles Xavier (Patrick Stewart) 28 - Magneto (Sir Ian McKellen) 29 - Jean Grey (Famke Janssen) 30 - Cyclops (James Marsden) 31 - Storm (Halle Berry) 32 - Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) 33 - Rogue (Anna Paquin) 34 - Nightcrawler (Alan Cumming) 35 - Iceman (Shawn Ashmore) 36 - Beast (Kelsey Grammer) Hope everyone enjoyed this new post! Comments appreciated! Excelsior! ~tin7 Link to Series #1: Marvel Cinematic Universe Collectible Minifigure Series #1 Link to Series #2: Marvel Cinematic Universe Collectible Minifigure Series #2

Hi everyone! I made some new updates, and added some new minifigs to my Harry Potter minifigure collection! Here's the new batch for December 6, 2010. Alastor "Mad-Eye" Moody (Brendan Gleeson) UPDATED! The trench coat came from MMCB. Sirius Black (Gary Oldman) UPDATED! I created this decal based on images from Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix Mundungus Fletcher (Andy Linden) Once again based entirely off the movie. The head is just the Ostrich Jockey head from Prince of Persia. Hermione Granger - Casual Clothes (Emma Watson) The torso design for this outfit was taken straight from the movie. Hope everyone enjoyed this new post! Comments much appreciated! For the next batch of minifigs, I plan to make Nagini, and I think I'm going to succumb to the notion of re-making Remus Lupin. Harry Potter Minifigures by tin7

There's no other way around it. It's just not possible to make decals on the back because there are holes there. All official LEGO figs with dresses are like that too. -

Really? How does the 'brick separator' aspect of it work? -

Great review! I got this set a few days ago, and I'm seeing so many uses for the new backpack; the crowbar needs work though, the BrickForge one seems to look better. -

You can go review it too; all you have to do is sign in. There's no need to make such a big fuss about it. -
I live in Vancouver, Canada. I got it at TRU. All the sets are stocked at my local TRU now.

Here's the Fred and George Weasley decal Lord Embo. Please stop badgering for request; you should save up money to visit BrickLink or other sites for the pieces you require.

Fred is the one with the open mouth grin, George is the one with a closed mouth grin; how hard can that be to remember??? It will probably be a double sided head anyway, so it's not going to be hard to determine which fig you want as Fred, and which you want as George. -
This is posted extensively in the Pirates forum; perhaps a moderator should close this thread.

Today I found 3 of the new City Police sets at my local TRU (in Vancouver). I spent all my money this month on Hogwarts, so I only bought the smaller set. This set contains a new police dog truck, and the brand new dog mold! I looked through all of EB, and couldn't find a review on this yet, so here it is: my first ever review on Eurobricks! Name: Police Dog Assignment Set Number: 7285 Pieces: 96 Price: US $12.99 / €7.95 /$17.99CAD Ages: 5-12 Minifigs: 1 Theme: City 2011 Year of Release: 2011 (although I got mine on November 2010 ) The Review The Box (Front): The Box (Back): The Contents: New Parts: The new dog! Technically, the cap piece isn't new, but this is the first time I've seen it in white. DDS: The DDS... I don't mind it, I like the new dog truck logo. Random Page from the Instruction Manual: The instruction booklet came neatly folded with the DDS inside it. It wasn't crumpled. The Minifig and Dog The police is same as before, but the dog is the gold here! Dog comparison The front to show the printing; the dog is in the new nougat color, and not the usual brown. The old dog mold seems to be taller and bigger; since the new dog has larger ears, but is shorter. The new dog looks more realistic though... but I think the old dog looks more 'regal' for a police dog. Dog truck: The build for the dog truck is in 2 parts. The truck: The dog container: The door opens sideways! The full truck: Here is a comparison of the new dog truck with the dog truck from the last police station: The old truck opens in the back, the new one opens on the side: Extra Parts: Ratings Minifigures: 9/10 - I count the dog as a minifig, and I LOVE it! Lost marks for the recycled police figure though. Pieces: 7/10 - Not many special pieces. Design: 9/10 - Great design; much better than the old truck! Playability: 6/10 - Nothing really playable here; but I suppose children like rolling them around yelling 'vroom vroom'. Price: 4/10 - I would expect this set at $12.99 CAD, it's $5 more expensive than I would've liked; but the dog is so worth it!!! Overall: 7/10 Hope everyone enjoys this review; it's a pretty worthwhile set to get; although the smaller one comes with all the new police parts: crowbar, backpack, dog... but sadly, my local TRU doesn't carry it yet.

Not a problem; I should be able to wipe off the moustache/beard print without damaging the eyes and mouth! -

TECHNICALLY... if LEGO is making the piece... then it wouldn't be considered a "custom" piece... I think the word you're looking for is "new mold" as opposed to "custom piece". However, that sounds like a very intriguing piece; I can't wait to see how LEGO will pull it off! Plus, Keira Knightly = yum, and Will Turner means we'll finally get an Orlando Bloom head; I can finally make an authentic looking Legolas! -
custom keychain minifigs?
tin7_creations replied to brick man's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
simple: make your own custom minifig, remove the chain from an official minifig keychain, and then screw the keychain into the minifig head. -
Hi everyone! These are the newest additions to my Harry Potter minifigure collection! This time I customized Xenophilius Lovegood, and made all the Ministers for Magic. Anyways, here's the new stuff for November 26, 2010. Xenophilius Lovegood (Rhys Ifans) The face and torso decals are my own design. Everything else is LEGO. Cornelius Fudge (Robert Hardy) Minister for Magic 1990-1996 The face and torso decals are my own design. The hat is a combination of Indiana Jones' fedora and Sculpey. Rufus Scrimgeour (Bill Nighy) Minister for Magic 1996-1997 The face and torso decals are my own design. Everything else is LEGO. Pius Thicknesse (Guy Henry) Minister for Magic 1997-1998 The face and torso designs for Thicknesse were taken straight from the movie, and his hair was painted dark brown. Kingsley Shacklebolt (George Harris) Minister for Magic 1998-Present I posted this one before; but the list of Ministers for Magic would not be completed without him! Quirinus Quirrel (Ian Hart) Nothing special; it's the same fig, I just switched the head and hands to flesh. Antonin Dolohov (Arben Bajraktaraj) Nothing special here; everything is by LEGO. I used the Asoka face from Prince of Persia, the Gray Ghost torso from Speed Racers. Hermione Granger - Wedding Attire (Emma Watson) The torso design for this dress was taken straight from the movie. Hope everyone enjoyed this new post! Comments much appreciated! Any ideas on what Harry Potter minifigs I should make next? I still absolutely refuse to make a new Remus Lupin though... Who the heck said the PotC heads would be the same as in the Toy Story theme? And personally, I loved the Prince of Persia theme; and it was really well designed for a theme that TLG obviously knew was only going to last 1 year. As for the HP sets, even if they give us one more wave, that will be it. As the movies are ending for good. Although I do hope they give us a Room of Requirements set, the version of the room being 'The Room of Hidden Things'.

Sorry I don't release decals, unless they are very general designs (i.e. Hogwarts uniforms); but if there are one or two particular ones that you would like, you can pm me your e-mail and I can e-mail it to you. -
Great idea! love the slanted building and the fantastic candy assortment!

Winter Village : Mrs Cherry's Christmas Candy Shop
tin7_creations replied to Geertos13's topic in LEGO Town
This is excellent! Although the dark purple doesn't really fit in with the Winter Village theme; however, everything from the design to the style is awesome! -
There is one more: the lamp above the door at Ollivanders (for a LEGO game cheat code).

Do you think you can take a photo of a back shot of the BrickTW headpiece? I'd like to buy one, but I'm skeptical of how the backside will look.
