  1. Thank you so much! I'm happy that you like my figs. Plus you always comment to give feedback; many people don't comment, I don't understand how this topic has 120 views, but only 2 comments. Thank you for your comments to Omi, much appreciated! Actually; the Odin helmet didn't take much trial and error, nor did it give me much stress. It just took a lot of pre-planning and many, many days of work. The helmet was made in parts.
  2. This guy really is "Smart". His first post made sure that everyone despised him. Good job.

Here's the BIG Thor post that I promised for installment #11; most of the main characters are featured; I will make Sif, Professor Erik Selvig, Frigga, and Heimdall sometime in the near future. Everything else was either made by me or modified LEGO pieces. Alright, let us begin; the eleventh part in my Marvel Cinematic Universe Collectible Minifigure Series! Only characters from one movie is featured in this installment: Thor (2011). 81 - Odin (Anthony Hopkins) 82 - Donald Blake (Chris Hemsworth) 83 - Jane Foster (Natalie Portman) 84 - Fandral (Joshua Dallas) 85 - Volstagg (Ray Stevenson) 86 - Hogun (Tadanobu Asano) 87 - Destroyer The Warriors Three Hope everyone enjoyed this new post! 4. I really like this. The gorilla is a nice touch; although I assume that it's more of a guerrilla than a gorilla... ~tin7_creations
  5. Absolutely love the turkey nose! I enjoy all the details you put into the scene! Great work! ~tin7_creations
  6. Hello everyone! Here's the tenth installment for my Marvel Cinematic Universe Collectible Minifigure Series! I know that I promised a BIG Thor post for installment #10; but I have yet to receive the parts required for some of the figs (feel free to blame Canadian Postal Services). This post fills up what I believe is the main roster for the X-Men in their upcoming movie; and it also gives Captain America his sidekick. Everything else was either made by me or modified LEGO pieces. Alright, let us begin; the tenth part in my Marvel Cinematic Universe Collectible Minifigure Series! Movies from this installment include: X-Men: First Class (2011), and Captain America: The First Avenger (2011). 76 - Beast (Nicholas Hoult) 77 - Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan) 78 - Moira MacTaggert (Rose Byrne) 79 - Banshee (Caleb Landry Jones) 80 - Mystique (Jennifer Lawrence) UPDATE 63 - Emma Frost (January Jones) The designs for the uniforms and costumes for the X-Men came from the new trailer for X-Men: First Class, as well as the new promotional material. I also created a new, more "LEGO Friendly" costume for Emma Frost. Hope everyone enjoyed this new post! The next post is a big Thor post! All the major Thor characters will be making an appearance. Comments appreciated! 7. Hello everyone! Here's the ninth installment for my Marvel Cinematic Universe Collectible Minifigure Series! This time, the post is really small and only contains three new minifigs; however, the next installment (#10) will be a BIG Thor post! Everything else was either made by me or modified LEGO pieces. Alright, let us begin; the ninth part in my Marvel Cinematic Universe Collectible Minifigure Series! Movies from this installment include: Punisher: War Zone (2008), and X-Men: First Class (2011). 73 - Punisher (Ray Stevenson) 74 - Erik Lensherr (Michael Fassbender) 75 - Charles Xavier (James McAvoy) The designs for the uniforms and costumes for Erik Lensherr and Charles Xavier came from the new trailer for X-Men: First Class, as well as the new promotional material. Notice that they are not know yet as Magneto and Prof. X; as this is supposedly BEFORE they made up code names. Hope everyone enjoyed this new post! The next post is a big Thor post! All the major Thor characters will be making an appearance. Comments appreciated! 8. I really do want to make these; but flesh legs are really expensive; so I'll hold off on making these for now. Thanks for all the comments. ~tin7_creations
  9. I love The Flintstones growing up; and I decided to make a set of decals for the 4 main characters Fred, Wilma, Barney, and Betty. I tried to make the decals a little more realistic, instead of the cartoon-ish style that they are always portrayed in. This is probably the closest I would ever get to posting actual decals. Here are the full sets of decals used on a minifig template; people who want to use them will need to know some Photoshop or other drawing program to extract them. Fred Flintstone Wilma Flintstone Barney Rubble Betty Rubble One reason I don't post decals is that I hate it when people use my decals without crediting me (I don't want to get paid or anything, I just want some credit!!) So anyway, with that said; please credit tin7_creations should anyone wish to use them! Cheers, ~tin7_creations
  10. It's not you, it's not the photo either. It's me; me and my unsteady hands as I was sculpting. ~tin7_creations
  11. It's still incomplete. I'm waiting for the Mermaid hair from Pirates of the Caribbean to be released; Elektra has that hair in the movie.
  12. I knew someone was going to do this one day! Great work meshing together the hair and the hat. Been waiting a long time for LEGO elf ears!!
  13. Who better to represent the Number Four, than The Fantastic Four! Good luck to everyone! ~tin7_creations
  14. By customs I mean like custom created pieces; BrickForge, Sculpey pieces etc. Then I suppose those are okay?
  15. Are custom minifig creations allowed? Also, do they have to be new creations? Or can I use something I created previously?
  16. Last year was all about LEGO/Disney Toy Story and Prince of Persia. But LEGO/Disney has moved on; they are now releasing Cars and Pirates of the Caribbean. The Prince of Persia license won't continue, as I doubt there will be any new movies seeing how the first one bombed. There were huge clearances for the sets during Christmas since sales didn't do too well with these sets. I got the entire line for $120 during clearance sales. ~tin7_creations
  17. Hello everyone! Here's the eighth installment for my Marvel Cinematic Universe Collectible Minifigure Series! This time, I've made a number of minifigs from a wider variety of movies, including the new X-Men movie! Everything else was either made by me or modified LEGO pieces. Alright, let us begin; the eighth part in my Marvel Cinematic Universe Collectible Minifigure Series! Movies from this installment include: Daredevil (2003), The Incredible Hulk (2008), and X-Men: First Class (2011). 67 - Thunderbolt Ross (William Hurt) 68 - Abomination (Tim Roth) 69 - Daredevil (Ben Affleck) 70 - Elektra (Jennifer Garner) 71 - Havok (Lucas Till) I've done a Havok fig before, but that one was done out of Marvel Cinematic Universe continuity; so I had to do one in First Class 71 - Azazel (Jason Flemyng) The designs for the uniforms and costumes for Havok and Azazel came from the new trailer for X-Men: First Class, as well as the new promotional material. Hope everyone enjoyed this new post! The next post is a big Thor post! Comments appreciated! 18. You ARE the brasso master; this minifig is exquisite! Though I would be conflicted for a long time if I had to destroy a Nizam torso; the fig is not cheap! By the way, how do you keep the brasso from over-flowing and accidentally erasing stuff that you want? I've been using a pink eraser, it works just as well, but it takes forever, and gives me arm cramps. ~tin7_creations
  19. Well, more figs usually equals a decrease in new parts though; Quidditch had 5 figs, but everything else was sub-par. The Forbidden Forest is basically a minifig battle pack, the tree doesn't really do anything. But I agree with your breakdown of LEGO minifig trends; but the $80+ part should be changed to $80-100: 7-9 figures $100+: 10+ figures Insanely priced sets ($150+) have intense number of figs and depend entirely on what LEGO wants to include. I don't think I've ever seen a big set like this with more than 12 minifigs. ~tin7_creations
  20. I particularly like the face decal; the loose strand of hair fits well with that hairpiece! ~tin7_creations
  21. This is a great idea!! Can you show us the back of those legs so we can see how the USB fits into it? ~tin7_creations
  22. I think the thing about this thread is that people tend to forget that the sets aren't minifig based. I find that many of the wishlists here lists a whole army of figs for very small sets. So none of them seem very realistic.
  23. Congratulations TLR, your centaur design was incredible; just a question Hinckly, weren't there suppsoed to be second and third prize winners too? ~tin7_creations
  24. Don't forget, if they add more stuff to the rooms, then the prices will shoot up; and then people will complain about the pricing and how the stuff we get from the set don't justify the price. So, little kids, just stop complaining and be grateful that we're getting any new sets at all. There isn't a win-win situation here, higher price or less stuff in the rooms; you take your pick. I'd rather have less stuff; that way, I can build my own things and stick them in the rooms. Truthfully speaking though, it doesn't matter how much you complain, you're still going to end up buying the set anyway; so don't make such a big deal out of it. ~tin7_creations
  25. If those helmets on Hasbro's miniature figures (notice how I don't use the term minifigure? Since minifigure is what I reserve exclusively for LEGO ) actually fit on LEGO heads, then I might buy some of these sets; particularly Bumblebee and Optimus Prime. ~tin7_creations
