i've got decals for Cpt. America, and Thor already, I will probably make Nick Fury and Hawkeye. Black Widow I will wait until the Iron Man 2 movie comes out to get the costume design.

i wish i was working for LEGO. I WISH!

I made this cheerleader a while ago, thought I'd show it. The hair is made from Sculpey, and the decals are my own design; inspired by a real uniform! Front: Back: The pompoms are Ryo hair from Exo-Force. Which is why I can't wait for the new LEGO pompoms! I seriously hope that those collectible packs are going to sell here in Vancouver. ~tin7

LEGO Collectable Minifigures General Discussion
tin7_creations replied to Nabii's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Will these be available in Canada? 2.5 Euros each is roughly the price of an impulse set in Canada. If they're available @ the Toysrus here, I'll blow my whole paycheck on them, I won't just collect them all; I'll collect multiples for extra parts! ~tin7 -
i agree, but it also means i would need to order it and wait for it to arrive... i'm not a patient man.

Alright, I need some help with the Captain America fig. For his shield, I plan to use this piece: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=43898 Is there anyway to get a sticker on their and make it smooth? I already tried one label, and the paper doesn't "bend" well; there are creases. ~tin7

I can't wait to try and build it.... the helmet and hair are eluding me right now...

The hands are from the Power Miner rock monsters. I boiled the sculpey/torso. sculpey hardens when boiled too. I already made Wolverine. this thread: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?...mp;hl=Wolverine

Alright, so I don't know how to update the first post to include the Hulk minifig from my previous post, so I'm making a new one. A few days ago, I thought of sculpting onto the LEGO torso to create 'bulk' for Hulk; here is the finished product: Tell me how the 'bulky' torso works. The paint thickened the piece, but the arms can't move to the sides anymore, or the arms will scratch off the paint. Also, I recent bought this fig from christo7108 on ebay. This Iron Man is not decaled, it is printed like LEGO: This figure is INCREDIBLE; the quality is one of the best custom figs I've seen. I wish Lego printed like this, arms, legs, head, front, back. When I finally received it, I think I experienced what I deem a Lego-rgasm Hope you enjoy! ~tin7

one of my friends recommended something similar, it hardens in 6 hours after its mixed... i believe that your product would be more efficient for modelling.

ya. i boil it. i'm actually gonna try two styles... make it directly on the torso and boil it... and oven bake one and then glue it on, i'll see which one works better, i'll post it when it's done, maybe in a day or two.

I just got this new idea for making minifig torsos bulkier. I've been trying to create a Hulk fig, but the decal just doesn't do the Hulk body justice. I came to the same conclusion when I made my Santa fig; decals don't really add "mass" to a fig. So I've been looking for ideas, and the most promising one the I came up with is sculpting the torso piece "larger". Actually putting Sculpey onto the fig, sculpt Hulk's abs, or Santa's belly, to create a somewhat thicker torso. I have a bunch of un-unsed torsos lying around, I plan to put Sculpey abs on them and paint them green to see if it would work for Hulk, tell me what you guys think of the idea, any suggestions are welcome! Thanks, ~tin7

Your Experience with HAZEL's work

the items look very promising, i just ordered the guitar set that he has, apparently there's something wrong with the producer, but he guarantees that i'll get them by christmas. i'll post a review once i get them. ~tin7 -
hmmm. its sad hearing this... i never really cared for bionicles, i've only had about 3, but it's always been a moneymaker for lego... oh well...

oh! this is awesome. i love the design and all the colors.

I LOVE the bumper cars, and the skid marks. INCREDIBLE! ~tin7

The Big Bang Theory
tin7_creations replied to tin7_creations's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
i'm working on that! i've already made decals for Sheldon's math boards, and the table. i just need enough brown pieces for the couch now; in the process of scavenging...... -
Wow, it really has been a long time since I last posted custom minifigs. Has anyone ever watched the CBS sitcom The Big Bang Theory? I personally love the show, and I've decided to create the main characters in minifig form. Here they are: Dr. Rajesh Koothrappali, Ph.D My printer does a funny thing. The colors of my decal labels come out lighter than my intentions, so the skin color is kind of off. Howard Wolowitz, M.Eng I really wanted to make his hair better, but it turns out, it's really hard to get that "perfect globe" shape... Penny This is the only purist minifig in this set; more due to the fact that her face and clothes can be matched with existing parts. Dr. Leonard Hofstadter, Ph.D Another issue with the Sculpey hair. I just remind myself that the character's hairstyle does change a little in later episodes... And finally... the beloved... Dr. Sheldon Cooper, Ph.D Ah~~! One word: PERFECTION. Hope you enjoy! ~tin7

New X men Origins, Wolverine.
tin7_creations replied to IronArtist's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
you should add wolverine's tags. I assume that the belt buckle you mention is the "X" buckle used by all the x-men? i suggest you don't do the belt buckle. since in the movie you're referencing from, wolverine does not use that belt yet. I'm also wondering how you got that particular interface to test apply your decal on. -

New X men Origins, Wolverine.
tin7_creations replied to IronArtist's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
You should make the hair darker, Wolverine's hair (in the movies at least) is near black. I really like it though, the expression really captures the character. I will definitely try it on my Wolverine fig. -
ooh. i would like to see a riddler. as well as ra's al ghul from the batman begins movie. hope to see those!
