Just make sure you stuff something into the head to keep the hole from shrinking... because if it shrinks in the wash, it won't be able to fit on the LEGO neck anymore.

Hmmm... I've made modifications to actual heads before, but I've never tried to make a full head. The reason being is that I believe Sculpey is very soft in comparison to ABS plastic, so I don't know how the material would fare when used against a LEGO torso. But you can try of course, and then post your results here in our forum!

Advice: Practice, sculpting skill is not something I can teach, just feel the clay with your fingers, work with it, and practice a LOT. Answers to your questions: 1) All LEGO parts are damaged during boiling; they shrink, and the print comes off, so use parts that you don't want. 2) Acrylic paint creates an extra thick layer; so when painting minifig heads, I prefer to use spray paint, or an air-brush.

Hi everyone! These are the newest additions to my Harry Potter minifigure collection! This time I customized members of the Order of the Phoenix. Anyways, here's the new stuff for November 12, 2010. Alastor "Mad-Eye" Moody (Brendan Gleeson) Nothing special on this fig. I added a trench coat and switched the leg positions. Nymphadora Tonks (Natalia Tena) The torso design for Tonks was taken straight from the movie, and her hair was painted dark pink. Kingsley Shacklebolt (George Harris) Once again based entirely off the movie. The hat is hand made from Sculpey, and the head is just the Seso head from Prince of Persia. Horace Slughorn (Jim Broadbent) The hairpiece is made of Sculpey, and the face and torso decals are my own design. Hope everyone enjoyed this new post! Comments much appreciated! Hi everyone! These are the newest additions to my Harry Potter minifigure collection! I'm going to start a new post for every new batch, since it seems, if I make a compilation thread, most people stop reading it after a while. Anyways, here's the new stuff for November 1, 2010. Fleur Delacour - Casual Clothing (Clémence Poésy) I made a new face decal for Fleur so I can use Princess Tamina's head for Lily Potter instead. The torso decal was created from a photograph from the upcoming film Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 1. James and Lily Potter (Adrian Rawlins and Geraldine Somerville) For James, I used one of the older Harry heads from the Goblet of Fire sets, and rubbed off the lightning bolt. The torso is a Lucius Malfoy torso from the Chamber of Secrets sets. For Lily, the decal was designed based on the dress in a photograph from the film Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, I also used Princess Tamina's head. Gilderoy Lockhart (Kenneth Branagh) I created Lockhart's face from the head used in LEGO Harry Potter Years: 1-4. Sirius Black (Gary Oldman) For Sirius, I created a new face decal with a bit more expression, and I gave him Dastan's hair, which has more volume, and makes the minifig a little more charismatic. The torso designs were taken from LEGO Harry Potter Years: 1-4. Severus Snape (Alan Rickman) Nothing too special here, I just switched the head from set #4842 with the head from set #5378. I think he looks better like this, since his hair is suppose to be "greasy". Hope everyone enjoyed this new post! Comments much appreciated! Buy some sticker labels from your local stationary store; use white sticker labels, not transparent ones. You can use Microsoft Word to re-size the decals. Re-size them to 0.48" x 0.59", that size is a perfect fit on LEGO torsos; print them, then just peel the sticker off, and stick it onto a torso.

You don't need to buy them; just print them off your computer and use them.

I've been filling in characters for my Harry Potter minifigs recently; and I have made figs for all four Triwizard Champions more or less based on the LEGO Harry Potter Year 1-4 Game. All the outfits for the minifigs are for their Third Task competition in the Maze. Harry Potter (Daniel Radcliffe) The decals are my own design; LEGO made this torso piece too, however, there's a slight difference from the film. In the film, the lettering on Harry's back is in bright red, while LEGO made it in gold. Therefore, I changed it! I also prefer Harry with this hair. Cedric Diggory (Robert Pattinson) This is the same uniform worn by Harry, except in yellow, and with Diggory on the back. I used a Han Solo head, and Mutt's hair. It turns out, the combination looks exactly like the one used in LEGO Harry Potter Years: 1-4! Fleur Delacour (Clémence Poésy) For Fleur, I used Princess Tamina's face, with tan ponytail! It looks very similar to her appearance in the game. Viktor Krum (Stanislav Ianevski) I never had the original Mermaid Rescue set, so I had to recreate the Viktor Krum torso. The Triwizard Champions! There has also been a lack of casual torsos for some of the characters already created by LEGO; I have made my own designs based on photographs from past and upcoming films Hermione Granger (Emma Watson) For Hermione's casual torso, I replicated one of her outfits from the upcoming film Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 1. Her hair is pulled backed in the photo to show the print on her back. Neville Longbottom (Matthew Lewis) Neville's outfit is based off of the one he wore in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. Instead of the zip jacket, I took the knit pattern and used it on a vest instead. Draco Malfoy (Tom Felton) Draco's outfit is based on the one he wore in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. This is what Bill Weasley is supposed to look like in the film: I based the minifigure off the movie version, I tried to get as close as possible.

The only ones that were shopped are Fred and George, and Bill's hair.

One of the flaws I noticed in the new Harry Potter line, is that it creates an inability for us to collect the entire Weasley family; though I understand Bill, Charlie, Percy aren't crucial characters, they are certainly more crucial than Mr. Ollivander and Fenrir Greyback who were both made into minifigs. Therefore, I have filled in the missing links, I present you the Weasley Family in it's entirety!
