Yep, perfect for a 'hidden' joke. Especially if it is Danish bacon.

I like the usher (would also make a good hotel bell-hop) and the barbershop guy. The pig should have a sausage or a 2x1 bacon print tile.

Rules and tips for selling MOC instructions?
MAB replied to General Magma's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Some of the ones I bought were photographed rather than LDD, I don't think that matters. But exactly as the page you have shown, it gives buyers the idea about what the instructions are going to be like. PS, is the cheese slope on the right cracked? -
Rules and tips for selling MOC instructions?
MAB replied to General Magma's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I've bought instructions for other people's MOCs before, from BL, ebay and then more professional ones such as the Arvo Bros. One thing I really like is if you can get the parts list (especially as a file that can be imported into BL) before purchase, since this can give you an idea about the cost of the parts necessary to build the model. Also seeing one page of the instructions can give an idea about quality. I also quite like the "donate-ware" approach, where people give them away free, and ask for donations. That way you can pay what you feel once you have actually built it. Or where you have a pair of models that go together, and you sell the instructions for one, but give away the other. Again it gives the buyer an idea about quality before purchase. -

Me neither, and the chef was winning for a while. They have for the queen! But a 2*2 one would be good, especially with longer pins on top.- 2,045 replies

Lego Licensed Parts available from Bricks & Pieces
MAB replied to LegoPercyJ's topic in LEGO Licensed
Yes. But also no. If you order through the website, you are limited to 200 pieces per part. But if you click the link to the right in B&P "Ordering lots of parts", then it tells you how to go about ordering more than 200. -

It is also possible to order more than 200 of the same part in one order. You just fill in a form available from the website. -

And the scarecrow has been done a few times too via the licensed Batman sets, so not that different to the elf and LOTR.- 2,045 replies

The Greatest Collectible Minifigure THANKS AND GOODBYE
MAB replied to Itaria No Shintaku's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I cannot believe the scarecrow beat the Spartan, but he did. But it's all politics now. The King beat the Roman soldier in the last round, so I voted against the Queen in this round. Although it is pretty close and the Queen will probably make it through.- 2,045 replies

The Future of Lego Space. (opinions, ideas, discussion)
MAB replied to Trekkie99's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
My answer will probably be controversial - not classic space. No to the blues and greys and yellow windscreens. I'd hope they would do more greys, white and black, with accent colours for different ships. Classic space style minifigs would be fine though, if they did a range of colours.- 991 replies

CMF Parts in "Make your minfiigure"

Some unprinted or wrongly printed (right print on wrong colour part) parts have been "dumped" through the BAM boxes. -

CMF Parts in "Make your minfiigure"
MAB replied to Itaria No Shintaku's topic in Special LEGO Themes
The ones in the UK are not exclusively made up from CMF parts, but they certainly have some CMF parts in them from time to time. Some of the big (especially German) sellers on bricklink get lots of old CMF parts but this is normally direct, not through the BAM in store. I guess LEGO dumps the parts that they no longer need, and this can be either wholesale or through the BAM in store. -

Lego Licensed Parts available from Bricks & Pieces
MAB replied to LegoPercyJ's topic in LEGO Licensed
My point was that they don't do minifigures - you have to know the individual parts. Out of stock often means "not for sale", rather than actually out of stock. For licensed parts, they are normally "out of stock" when they first appear, some but not all will become available some time later, then they will either go out of stock again once LEGO realise they are for sale when they shouldn't be, or they remain for sale for ages. -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours
MAB replied to r4-g9's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Who is going to want to have a series with just three members of the A-team in? What about the fourth (Mr T)? Doing a series like that would be limiting it in interest to people that had already bought the Dimensions sets. If they were going to do something like that, they'd sell more if they repeated the main Dimensions characters in the CMF series (like they did with the Simpsons and Disney). -

There were errors in the box art of many of the Viking sets. This one, for example ... Take a look at the axe head - it is a complete ring. Whereas in the instructions they got it right and used the clip version instead. Then there was the BTTF SHEILD / SHIELD error.
