BOOK: Brick City by Warren Elsmore
Bighappysmiles replied to Teessider's topic in General LEGO Discussion
There are a lot of books like this, from various authors that show stuff like this, a lot of them are ebooks however. There should be a LEGO books discussion where people can post books they find, because there are a lot that I don"t think are very well known -
MOC - Underground Portuguese Train (Metro Lisboa)
Bighappysmiles replied to Sérgio's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Wow! That's a really nice train! I love it! I love the crazy people in the station! it's just like real life down there, all those crazy people with purple anime hair! =P -
Whoa! That is amazing! Good job!
-
Wow, that was instantly recognizable as Theodore Roosavelt! When a custom is like that, you know its good! Good job! Smiles=)
-
Wow! That looks amazing! I love the house, it certainly does capture Victorian architecture at its finest! The house looks so smooth, it doesn't even look like lego! I would also like to say you have done a very good job with the "Horror" aspect of it! This MOC really is one of the most gory, bloody and violent MOCs I have ever seen! Oh, and I love it for that! You really should make a spot for this house when it comes time for Halloween! Really amazing! I hope you make more just amazing! Smiles=)

Wow, that certainly looks a lot better than the limo that comes with it! I like what you did with the wheels, the ones on the original look terrible! I really think lego should put this car in the set rather than the one they did, it's much better! Good Job! Smiles=)

Wow.......Thats all I can say........ I like the scaffolds! (and the monster attack! )
-
Wow, that looks really cool! I like how you made it look crumbly and uneven
-
I like the use of the tires for the grip, it looks a lot like leather! I think you could make the hand protectors (I don't know what they're called! ) look a bit better, they look really flimsy!

I love microscale! It looks very cool! You have to tell your son that he is very talented!!!!

That looks really good! It really looks like an extension, there is not choppiness where the MOC and the set collide. It looks really good!
-
I love the shape of it, how you made it look like a bug!
-
Very nice!

Wow! That is very cool! I love it! I especially like the use of the large wheels as the thrusters!
-
Wow! That looks great! I like how you rendered it instead of just taking a screen in LDD, it looks a lot better! I really like the smoothness of it and how it looks like it is made of metal and not lego! great MOC!
-
Oh my goodness! so many big mocs! I love the LEGO moc! I love the creative take on the Main Server! The base Crusher looks so menacing! I love the scale of it!
-
Goodness! How many olive green bricks did you use? (Well, forgive me if I'm wrong, but they look olive! )
-
I really like this cute little cottage! I'm glad you built some stones to make the landscape look natural, however I would think it would look better if you made it smoother, you could really use some slopes to make it look even MORE natural! Over all, I really like it! it is a very nice cottage! Smiles=)

Whoa, I love how you made the water look so realistic! You should really make a tutorial about making such good looking water! That is very cool! I really think that adding real water to MOCs could be amazing! Especially if it was a huge waterfall fountain thing!
-
Wow! That is amazing! I love the use of the deathstar for the head of the goblet. The gears in the center look so cool too! The colours just flow together perfectly, with the dark red accenting. I don't know if this is a real thing from star trek, if you were recreating it I'm sure you did a good job, but the blade looks.....stubby. I do like the how the blade turns into a tear shape at the end though! I have to say you are my all time favourite mocer in the universe, and you have once again proven that to me! Oh, and is the iron builder piece the bionicle blade? You used it creativly and effectivly, so I figured it was.... Smiles=)

Whoa......Keep that demon away from me!!!!!! Nice moc by the way!

I have often looked on the appstore for lego apps in general and it really doesn't have that many quality lego apps. I know a lot of them are for kids, and the iBrickset app crashes on opening most often. I have found a lot more good lego apps on the Google store for android if that helps. I haven't come across an app on either that is LDD or is even a lego CAD. Smiles=)
