  1. Fork assembly sliding on the 2 long beams and connected through linkages to pivoting arm driven by worm gear.
  2. The pallet is simply 1x8 tiles and 2x 1x3 bricks + 1x 2x3 brick. 3D-Model - 30655.io
  3. Excellent suggestion! With these parts the boom would be centered all the time and not lift off like with gear rack. I can see a giant Liebherr tripple extension boom crane with such sturdy worm gear.
  4. I can already smell the stickers not matching the panel color. Too bad the balloon tires will remain for this series. I would have gladly seen a new monster truck fat tire design for these.
  5. I'm so glad the Technic polybags are still on-going. The small ones deserve a separate topic too, so here you go. Set nr: 30655 Name: Forklift with Pallet Parts: 78 Age: 8+ Price: 3.99 Euro Release: January 1st 2023
  6. New 6 module long worm gear and 2x2 sliding cube. I bet this will be used in an upcoming Technic set. Maybe a screw pile driver like this.
  7. @kbalage I feel you, but the release of a "world's first" review 1 month earlier on a channel that has mere 27K subscribers really shouldn't worry you. Your review will still get the same number of views, if not more, because the set is hyped earlier and you can maybe answer questions and present important details that have been omitted in a rushed up review. If the sole purpose is to get clicks and have the bigger e-pen** then yes, having the first reveal is the only thing that matters. But most people tend to remember quality content more fondly and keep coming back for more. Besides, there will always be a dumb retailer somewhere who sells something too early, so it's futile to be upset about it.
  8. This Series is super awesome! Must get multiples of the Black Falcon and Spaceman figures. Baby Benny is so cute! The new animals are nice too.
  9. It's pretty dumb to reuse #7 and #8 for the new small panels, since 32534 and 32535 already exist and use those numbers. Why not simply use the available # 9+10 or #11+12?
  10. Since we are posting links now, here's the pictorial review too from PB. The working W16 engine is nice, but the 48 stickers and lack of differential is again very disappointing. Why can't TLG just make a smaller differential if they continue this line at this scale? https://www.promobricks.de/lego-technic-42151-bugatti-bolide-review/151815/
  11. Instead of asking every time if a LEGO SW vehicle is minifig scale or not, why not compare them to each other knowing which set fits best in the 1:43 scale of minifigure height? For instance the MF is roughly 1:41, the AT-AT ~1:37, the Republic Gunship ~1:25 and the Razor Crest will be ~1:36. So to put matters into perspective the RC will be more in scale to the AT-AT than to the MF, which would be the closest to minifig scale out of all UCS sets.
  12. Great, TLG fixed the complaints of the Crocodile locomotive by not making it run on standard LEGO tracks at all and make it a display only set, completely out of scale to the included minifigures, just to have an excuse for the high price point. Instead of trying to make a nice 8w train with at least 2 carriages for half the price that fits in the collection. I am sick and tired of these giant sets releasing almost every month.
  13. Counting the studs it's 86 wide if fully folded up, which it can't, so I guess it's around 60-63 cm when it's open.
  14. Now we only miss Wolfpack, Dragon Knights and Fright Knights from the Classic line-up. The red&white Maltese cross faction probably did not make it due to religious connotations to the Templars.
  15. And RB's review at 7:14 reveals the Forestmen Shield is not exclusive to the GWP after all. Yey!
  16. I kindly asked Milan and he gave me the confirmation that no stickers are being used in 10305, meaning all printed shields too. Yey!
  17. That promotional video is really awesome and the turntable-ish swash plate seems like a useful part for other creations as well. This set is the true Technic flagship set of this year. Since we know that Milan did not design it and we did not see one of Markus's sets this year, I bet MK is behind it. His second chance to shine after the Osprey didn't make it. Even the box artwork is the same. Let's just hope the gears and clutches were properly tested this time. Imagine hooking this helicopter up with the old Control Center II + a stand and program all the functions and let it do it's magic on it's own.
  18. The six-packs are known to be random figures only, but displays usually had consistent sorting if TLG did not screw up packaging, as was the case multiple times (HP, Looney Tunes, etc.). For me these dumb cardboard boxes mean the end of an enjoyable hobby. The whole fun of feeling up the packages and getting all the figures from a series is gone. Same goes for buying whole display boxes and selling the other 1-2 complete sets for the purchase price. I'm pretty sure, the new displays will not contain 2-3 complete sets because TLG will also not be able to weigh the packs precisely for consistent sorting. These new boxes can't be even unsealed to check the content without damaging/ripping them up, so it was clearly deliberately done to "force" people to buy more than they want and make completionists lives harder.
  19. Too bad these are all renderings. I wonder if that knight visor is Gold Ink or Metallic Gold and how the print quality on all will look like. That dragon costume should have gotten red wings to honor the Dragon Knight's sets.
  20. I think I have a good idea of how the drawbridge works now and it's so cool that they made it that way. That's why the portcullis is raised so far up. That way the attackers slide directly into the dungeons. Yet another realistic feature that was never done before in a LEGO set.
  21. Changing box size is no option in a fully automated system like they use. I'm sure there are other viable concepts as well. Like family packs and storing similar parts in smaller bags inside a box and assigning the same element nr. for that pack, or renting external warehouses, or more efficiently producing only the needed quantity instead of stocking up huge quantities. But what do I know, I'm no expert.
  22. Please keep a close look at the PaB site for these and let me/us know if any of the Forestmen parts become available there. I got 3 GWP's but I'm afraid those shields will remain exclusive and not be available for long.
  23. And this must be the same inverted curved slope in 1 stud width. The regular ones don't fit atop 1x2 bricks as a snot build.
  24. Thanks to the ultra high res images from all angles it's doable. But still many hours left and certainly a lot of hidden things, like that counter-weight mechanism built in for the drawbridge is still a mystery how it's built.
