    It's not the matter of animation.We compare Ninjago to anime because of the concept.Ninjas driving ridiculous vehicles and mechs vs skeletons,cyborgs,snake people etc...This the very definition of action/shounen anime.

    I was referring to themes like Ninjago,Chima and Nexo Knights.All those themes have futuristic elements,I would like to see a theme of the same scale with a pure fantasy aesthetic.I was hoping Monkey Kid might be the one but it appears that won't be the case.

    Just because it's seems pointless to you doesn't mean everyone feels the same way. I for one think HS is a great theme.I mean we finally have an action theme with a fair balance between vehicles and locations.

    Wait so that was sandy all along? If they follow the book then he could be introduced as a villain at first. I don't like the thought of a modernized Journey to the West setting.But this way Lego will be able to justify the existence of all the vehicles.

    If you find the logo so offensive then go ahead and make a complaint to Lego. I don't know about you but I'm here to talk about toys and not about how a logo could be offensive to some people.

    Well I hope that's not the case.But Monkey Kid being a big bang action theme will most likely and unfortunately be vehicle focused.

    God those sets are terrrible This is exactly what I don't want Monkey Kid to be,another Ninjago clone.I know @Harkonen was full of bs but I hope that the bit about Monkey Kid being a location based theme is true.

    Huh it does look like the DBZ logo Well I do hope it's based on the Journey to the West lore.I just fear the overload of vehicles will mess this theme up.

    Harkonen claimed that monkey kid/leaf will be a location based theme and since his info for the JP sets was a bunch of lies I'm assuming all the information he provided was nonsense as well.

    Yea that's what I was thinking as well.If his eyes are green then probably his body will have a different color as well.

    Hm I wonder if the shark is brick built or just a mold with a unique printing like the aligator from the boat set.

    Well now we know for certain he was a fraud.Meaning that monkey kid/leaf won't be a location based theme,shame really,a fantasy based theme with buildings sounded a dream come true.

    Oh boy the castle keeps sounding better and better!! I regret not buying the MF castle so if this castle is similar then it's a must buy.
