  1. Favourite sets: 1) 70420 Graveyard Mystery 2)70422 Shrimp Shack Attack 3)70431 The Lighthouse of Darkness
  2. It's not just the lack of gimmick sets. The subdued first wave consists only of 8 sets and not to mention that the second wave has even less sets. Then you have the limited availability that hurts it's potential in wider recognition which will also lead to lack of sales when compered to BB themes which are available worldwide in retailers. All this is evidence that MK is not a BB theme. And this brings back my point from my previous comment,MK is an experimental theme that exists only for TLG to test the waters to see how well they can do in China. They don't care how well this theme does outside China hence why it's exclusive to Lego stores. And the lack of many sets means that they don't want to go all out just yet because this theme could be a failure.Maybe we'll see more sets if the current ones sell well enough in China.
  3. I don't know if we should categorize MK under the Big Bang label.BB themes in general have big first waves along side gimmick sets and a full fledge TV show.MK first wave consists of 8 sets,no gimmick sets and a 40 minute TV movie. Not to mention all the special circumstances that surround MK,it being a Lego store exclusive theme and a clear attempt from TLG to cash in the China market.I'd call MK an experimental theme, one of it's kind, certantly not a traditional action theme BB or not.
  4. That's my fear as well. This is mere speculation from my part but I think that we'll get another new theme next year.Think about it Chima ended in 2015 and the following year NK released.NK on the other hand ended in 2018 and the following year HD released. So based in this pattern we could get another new action theme in 2021.It'll be most likely a Big Bang theme.
  5. Well I can't say I was surprised with this turn of events.I called this out earlier this year, since action themes that aren't of the Big Bang ilk usually only last for three waves at best.
  6. It's not disrespectful,it's the truth.Lego has become lazy and dare I even say creatively bankrupt. The latter is especially obvious with regards to Ninjago, this theme is TLGs cash cow and they'll keep milking it until it's dry. Gone are the days there were a plethora of action themes, now instead Ninjago cannibalizes every potential new theme.HS only exists or should I say existed because the idea couldn't fit into Ninjago.
  7. Hey atleast the brickheadz isn't ridiculously expensive.
  8. Looks like @Ninja_whip had listed the prices for the three new sets all the way back in April!! And yea it appears that the speedboat really costs 60$
  9. The way things are we'll probably get more sets in Legacy form in 2030
  10. Meh if the only bad guys on the sets were the skeletons that would be boring, accurate or not the orcs and the goblins provide much needed variety.
  11. Thanks for the comments guys! I'm stuck between this set and the Skull Sorcerer Dungeon but I'll probably buy the latter.
  12. More Mando sets please. For such a popular show Lego is taking it's sweet time releasing those sets,I mean Razor Crest should have come out this January not September. And while I'm at it more Clone Wars Season 7 sets.Considering the popularity of mandalorians recently the Siege of Mandalore story arc would be a gold mine for Lego yet we only got one set based on that arc and nothing else.
  13. Mando with full on Beskar armor and Maul from season 7.
  14. It would be really ironic if we get more than one sets for Trope Batch when the final season of Clone Wars received only one.
  15. Has anyone bought the castle? Would like to hear some impressions about it.
  16. Yea,Super Mario is a brand new theme but it has already a D2C set.So Lego must have alot of confidence in this partnership.
  17. Man they're going all out with this wave.Hopefully we'll see this treatment with other Nintendo properties.
  18. Now that Lego and Nintendo are working together a Zelda theme isn't a far fetched idea.Cmon Lego if you aren't planning on bringing back the Castle theme anytime soon at least give us Zelda.
  19. The word is they release on August.
  20. Yea I agree about Clutch Powers,he is the poor man's Indiana Jones. It would have been better if it was Johnny Thunder instead.
  21. I know this is slighty off topic but I'm rather curious as to why Season 11 is so disliked.
  22. Well regarding the upcoming Legacy sets I only hope for a Possesion remake set, since I skipped those back in the day and I always wanted those ghost minifigures. As for the theme in general I only care about the location sets and if I'm not mistaken @Ninja_whip said that there is an upcoming location set next year,so I'm rather curious about it.
  23. They must be since next year is the big anniversary.
  24. Well I hope we atleast get one or more Possession Legacy sets since I skipped those when they came out back in 2015.
  25. I'm well aware I just used an obvious example. And I certainly wouldn't mind a decrepit haunted church set for HD, even though I know that Lego will never make such a set.
