You hit the nail in the head. Not to mention that his "leaks" seemed like educated guesses more than anything else. And him playing the victim card was probably just an excuse to bail before someone exposed him for being a likely fraud.

Unless your implying that the upcoming wave is not the last one I don't see how it answers my previous question. -

Only 16 minifigs? Good, the fewer the better I say. -
Turning tail because someone called you a liar doesn't inspire alot of faith.

LEGO Hidden Side 2020
Pulp Detective replied to Digger of Bricks's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Wasn't Ninjago supposed to end after 3 years? And both Chima and NK ended after their 3 year run.If the upcoming wave for HS is the final one then the whole theme will only last for about a year.So I don't see how it follows the same pattern as the other themes. -
LEGO Hidden Side 2020
Pulp Detective replied to Digger of Bricks's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Since we're on this topic I'll add my two cents. Regarding the minifigures MF is the superior theme hands down,on one hand we have a colorful cast of protagonists and on the other a diverse cast of monsters. HS on the other hand I find rather lacking,we have two protagonists which are painfully dull and not mention that after two waves we're still stuck with the same outfit variations that got introduced in the first wave. The monster catalogue is limited with only possesed citizens,I find the whole slimy head and waving green hair gimmick quite boring after the first couple of sets. About the builds themeselves I'll give it to HS,while the MF builds are decent they pale in comparison to HS. -

Harry Potter 2020 - Rumors & Discussion
Pulp Detective replied to Captain Nemo's topic in LEGO Licensed
Considering that Lego covers 2 movies a year I was expecting this year to be all about OotP and HBP.I'm all about remakes but only after Lego is done covering the movies. -
Harry Potter 2020 - Rumors & Discussion
Pulp Detective replied to Captain Nemo's topic in LEGO Licensed
Both the OotP and HBP movies barely had any sets covering them yet Lego decided to waste a slot this year for a remake of a set based on CoS.Well atleast I know which set I won't be buying. -
LEGO Hidden Side 2020
Pulp Detective replied to Digger of Bricks's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Yea I have high hopes for the castle as well. Regarding the potential of the theme,I don't know what else Lego could do with it.The town of Newbury is a small one,so I can't imagine how many more haunted locations there could be. And I agree with @danth about the protagonists.I want my protagonists in any action theme to be tough as nails yet here we have a bunch of hip kids zapping ghosts with their phones. -
LEGO Hidden Side 2020
Pulp Detective replied to Digger of Bricks's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
It looks like the upcoming wave will be the last one,not suprising considering most action themes (with the exception of Ninjago,Chima and Nexo Knights) last 3 waves at most. -
I agree as well but I find the arcade pod packs amazing, usually those kind of sets are gimmicky with the spinners and what not but those pods are exclusively for aesthetic purposes.

So the CMF Monkey King minifig was a teaser for this theme? -

I don't like this monkey business but if this theme focuses on buildings then I'm all in. -
LEGO Monkie Kid 2020
Pulp Detective replied to Classic_Spaceman's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
For those of us who were hoping for castle/pirate hybrid theme we better start setting our expectations very low. This theme will probably be a mixture of chima and ninjago which sounds (to me atleast) disappointing. -
Meh the fact that it's creator mutes my excitement but I'll reserve final judgement after I see the pictures.

Hmm so there are 5 sets and not 4,not that I'm complaining or anything If this list is legit then I'm really excited!!! That castle set sounds exciting not to mention the prison. -
