Eurobricks and Rebrickable were challenged by LEGO to make alternate models for current year city sets. The builds had to only use the pieces in available in the official LEGO model, be made in LDD, digitized, tested in real brick and be a model a 7-10 year old could build!! I received set 60056 "Tow Truck" The set is medium sized with 227 parts. Many different parts, but some very long ones like 1x12 brick or 2x12 plates. Since the tow truck is a 6 wide vehicle, there is almost no 4 wide plates or bricks, excluding the creation of 4 wide vehicle. I decided to focus on two alternate sets. "Mobile Crane" "Sport Car"

Updated krisandkris12 entry Updated Oky entries Still no words from AgentRick57 and hjmediastudios. While AgentRick57's entry seems legit, hkmediastudios' one isn't. I'll post the voting thread on October 1st, so only 2 days left. -
Took your survey on September 25th. And I'd like to get results, if you reach your minimum inputs needed. "You write in pink... And sometimes very, very dark lavender...."

Updated SpiderSpaceman entry Updated Kobalt 1977 entry Don't you have a better/bigger picture? -
That's a wise advice, but I like space
-
I'd say that a SHIP cost always a little more than what is in your wallet, no matter how big is your wallet.
-
I lack basic bricks, especially white and blue. But I agree there are lots of 2 wide bricks that aren't that usefull... Thanks for your feedback. I'll probably wait to get in on sale.

Hi Special folks... (hum that doesn't sound that good) I'm looking for feedback on set 10664. It's a basic parts/plates set that contains 1600 parts and is sold at 60€, so 0,034€ per part. Set on Rebrickable Does anyone bought it? What do you think of the part selection?

Tried to find a flaw in this city but couldn't found one! It's so lovely, lively and really great to visit at night My only comment would be on the clocktower. I would have put a clock on the left side so that people on the central place can see it.

I can assure you that, even if we take into consideration any complaints about a build, we judge make our own opinion and take decision accordingly, even if some decisions are difficult and painful both to take and to accept. That said, I want everyone to remember that it is a friendly game, and that everyone is welcome to participate, with his/her (btw where are the girls!!) skills, passion and bricks. Not everyone has the same skills passion and bricks. Try to be respectfull in your comments, and always have in mind that some people here may have difficulties to write, read or understand perfectly english, and that it could leads to misunderstandings. We are all here to improve our skills, our passion and sometimes our bricks!
