  1. Really nice MOC, and greatly presented! I agree that it lacks footprints. You could have used 1x1 headlight bricks.
  2. Finally someone who watched it and like it
  3. Because I haven't sent the PM Will do that tonight...
  4. I've seen "Begin again" ("New York Melody" in french... Yes we like to translate english movie names in english ). And I was so charmed by all the songs, that I keep listening to the soundtrack... Mark Ruffalo and Keira Knightley are both great in the movie, and she sings so beautifully
  5. Stay on target... This topic is to discuss Lego Star Wars for 2015 and that's all.
  6. Thanks everyone for your feedback. I'll prepare a PM that will be sent to every "digital participant". I'll remind the rules specific to LDD entries, give a link to LDD manager and ask people to check their design. They will have a week to give me the result of the check, and if needed correct their design and give me a link to the pictures so I can edit the entry thread. If one doesn't answer within a week, his/her entry will be disqualified. Any comment on this?
  7. Bienvenue One more french Lady on the board!
  8. Btw, I didn't said it before, but your Snowwhite mosaic is terrific!
  9. Ok, so it seems we face another LDD gate... There are 13 brickbuilt entries and 12 LDD entries, so to be fair, they won't be judged together. Next is how do we deal with entries that use non-existing part/color combinations. I intended that challenge to be fun and friendly, with nothing to win except having a good time. That's why even if a rule has been broken, I'm not in favor to disqualify entries if their builders didn't abuse of non existing parts. I also want to believe that it was not done intentionally. I don't want to make a poll as I'm sure we can discuss this like grown up AFOLs. I'll listen to what you think is the best way to handle this case before taking any decision. When entering a contest with such a rule, don't build in the LDD extended mode. LDD Manager is a nice tool to check for parts/colors. Hosting a contest is time consuming for the staff. If we have to check every digital entry to make sure no rule was broken, it takes a lot more time. The consequence is that for future contests, we may not allow digital entries, because some people don't abide by the few rules specifics to the digital entries. Well...
  10. The challenge is now closed! Thanks everyone who participated.I must admit that this was harder than I anticipated. Well done everyone. I'll create a voting thread as soon as possible.
  11. I'll close the contest in approximately 13 hours! So if you haven't posted or finished your entry, you'd better hurry Oh you're right...
  12. It's fine, but post also your entry in the entry thread.
  13. Are you talking about the set index?
  14. I'm sure it's just people at TLG teasing us and having fun! "Look at all those AFOLS totally excited because we posted a 4! Imagine their face when they'll learn there is no announcement at all!"
  15. That's a response to this
  16. Actually there are both!
  17. I'll move this topic to the Town forum, where I think you'll get more pertinent advice on how to make cars.
  18. Oh you're right. And as said, you can only use existing part/color combinations.
  19. Yes parts of the frame need to be of the same color. You built a LDD entry, it should be easy to swap colors
  20. The LEGO Group has revealed the awaited Turtle Contest poster, that features winners of the contest, Peter's original turtle design and turtles selected by the jury.
  21. Turtle Contest Poster revealed! The LEGO Group has revealed the awaited Turtle Contest poster, that features winners of the contest, Peter's original turtle design and turtles selected by the jury. Copies will be sent to everyone whose turtle appears on the poster, and it will also be handed out at the Fan Weekend in Skærbæk to registered visitors. 23. Don't really know what you have in mind, but a build based on a CMF minifig is OK. And sorry for the late reply
