  1. Welcome aboard Josh (now why didn't I choose that user name??) As Thrash said just choose something on the list you want to try. It can be anything as we accept multiples of the same entry on the list. Have a look on the map and if the structure is on the outer wall then you will need to build a wall off the specs on the first post. Cheers, cant wait to see what you come up with.
  2. Stay on Target! They are merely distractions before the return of Pirates!
  3. I noticed, just chose to believe it was the wizard screwing around with magic
  4. Best box review ever! I really like how you demonstrated the best aspects of the box. Truly the dark side is strong with you. Perhaps you are the chosen one who will bring balance to the review. Perhaps we can get this pinned in the Reviewers Academy as the right way to review a box and how to tease an audience.
  5. Thanks for an informative article. I look forward to hearing more about 09 range, though probably closer to the release date. Cheers
  6. Thats quite a hoard of treasure in the Treasure room! Besides the colour issues on the wall it looks great, perhaps if you have a King mini he would look great rolling around in all the spoils of war etc. Well done Dennimator. I will attempt a thumbnail pic later. Thumbnail complete. Cheers
  7. Very impressive Sandy! Looks like you have made a few extra characters that look just great. Now I know where most of your castle parts came from
  8. I have found 4 so far, I will have to look a bit more later.
  9. Well done again! Its progressing nicely. I really love the old tree and the great looking Tudor houses. I admire that you have taken on such a massive task and you will probably feel like you have no purpose once its all finished Keep going and don't slow down. Cheers
  10. I clicked onto that picture and the description mentioned that it was from the rare Gold C3PO. How lucky!
  11. Quite an accomplished creation I just feel like the creator could have taken it further to Anakin's death and possibly a Cloud city scene too. Very creative arrangement though.
  12. I did think I needed my head read for reviewing this set and as you mentioned it did feel like the seasons were changing around me. I really liked the fact that you didn't have to do any repetitive building, rather each room held its own surprises. I must admit all that light bley did make it easier to rationalize purchasing this set with the thought of building sweet castles in future but I just can't even contemplate destroying it yet as that will be a massive job in itself. You are a lucky fellow to have the chance to get some spare time to build this baby, trust me you will need distractions to be put aside. I found a couple of dark bley bricks left at the end that should have been black, and some coloured 1 x1s that were mixed up so building during daylight is helpful too. I suggest lots of takeaway containers to sort all the pieces out into logical groups (this took about 2 hours)
  13. Happy Birthday DJ! and to all other members enjoying a great day. May all your dreams come true, especially the Lego ones
  14. In a vain attempt to keep this topic on-topic, I recieved my first title, Master of Nose Pickings, because I expressed my love of SNOT techniques. It was later changed by one of the Reviewer MODS to Bronze Master of Nose Pickings! I loved both titles. My current title was graciously given to me by KimT for organising the Community Castle Build. Nothing better than being a commander I guess It comes with all the coolness you would expect from a title with none of the responsibilty Good to see a little revenge from Hinck for all the misguided mafia people, thats the whole idea after all.
  15. No probs, what should I put you down to build? I have put you into Team Alpha, please post your creation there for all of us to view. If you can create a thumbnail sized pic with a link to your pictures that would be great too. Welcome aboard! PS: please consult the first post if you have any questions etc. All the stats are there for you.
  16. Nice try Darth, the link is for page 24. The Lego is on page 23 of the catalogue Good savings on the SW stuff though. $13 for a BP is the cheapest I have seen.
  17. Sometimes common sense doesn't come in to the equation. As Sinner said the software rescales the image so the user may be oblivious to the problem. Silly User
  18. I admire your sneakiness Sinner! I had a feeling the mystery raffle would turn into something to do with Avatar sizes. Bravo Small Avatars On!
  19. Beautiful work again Thrash! I only see one main problem though. Vampires can't enter Churches I think......well they don't like crosses or holy water. Hmmmm maybe im not quiet sure about entering but I bet he redecorated pretty quickly! Great torturing devices, I really like the gallows and rack. The coffin under the floor boards took a lot of bricks to raise the entire thing up, but was well worth it. Cheers.
  20. Thanks for the input, in answer to your questions/critique 1. I wish I had that many tiles. 2. Don't own a single monkey 3. but then it would just look like Nadroj's 4. Thats the guard falling off the top of the tower Thanks for the nice appraisal. I have no more pirate figures or Navy, so cant really add anybody else to the scene (unless stormtroopers or knights are allowed ) Not sure about the tower top, perhaps I will add something. Thanks and good luck to you too. The house is only just alight as they have only just finished pillaging the village. I had a pic of the guy in the water as my sneak peak, and its on my Brickshelf, its just I then have to take another pic down. Cheers and good luck to you too Guss.
  21. Thanks, couldn't have made it better without your input. It took a little fiddling to get the water right, but I think its come out well. The waves are teeth / horns from the Skeleton Castle set 7093. I decided to go with something different to make the waves stand out. As for the hook holding the pistol, as everyone is either buried or tied to a tree, the pirate is taking a break and doesn't need to fire it anytime soon, hence the cool look on his face. Good luck to all the other entrants too, lots of creative minds on Eurobricks by the look of things.
  22. Please count me in. Thanks as usual for a great community idea.
  23. That is just nuts Thrash! Obv the break agreed with your creative side. I love the witches shack on legs, very disturbing! The wizards guild is really quite nice too. I want to have a closer look and thumb them later. Also I just had an idea for a medieval theme park to put in the open areas. Like a wooden maerry go round etc..... could be cool.
  24. Here is a quick pic to show off the complete Large Pillage the Village entry. This is the largest MOC I have built to date and I hope it makes you smile. My thanks to Eurobricks for such a fun competition. :pir-skull:
  25. I have taken the prelim pics down as I expect to have the finished pics up today or tomorrow. Almost happy enough to call it complete, and some of the ideas you mentioned are already included Erd, so thanks heaps. You criticism was most useful. Cheers ISC
