All these sales are good at the moment, but not if you are looking forward to 09 sets like myself. 10193 Village On! Fill me bag of booty with Pirates yarrrrrrr!

I could email Lego Australia, though they usually don't even know about the new sets until they can look them up on S@H site. So might have to wait till Jan 1st. Besides, aren't they mass selling power miners all over the world first? Man, I should hook up with Sinner and anyone else in the Wollongong/ Sydney area and just put a mass order into S@H on Jan 1st

Great work Nyundi! I was thinking about making a mosiac for CCCCVI, so I will take a look at paint.net to see if it has something like this as I don't own photoshop. Guess I could look for a mosiac program or GIMP too. Anyway thanks for the great tutorial.

You don't have to join us if you are busy, though I will definitely add your creation (when finished) to the Gallery. The butcher looks fantastic so far. The colour scheme looks quite nice, you just need the police dog from the impulse set hanging around for a spare sausage or two Let me know if you wish to join up too KhoRne. This does seem to be a growing trend. TRU had been advertising exclusives like X-wing and Battle wheel at about $10 higher than S@H then in the next catalogue they reduce the price to the S@H and claim its on special! Very shifty work that

Sometimes its easier to log on for 10 minutes than unpack all my pieces and start building No yellow castle at my house, my parents sold all my old classic space and castle off years ago. Istarted collecting the year the yellow castle came out. My collection now consists of all new pieces from the last few years. Do you go to the Aussie convention? Im not heading from Syd to Mel for it this year. Im sure I will see you around here.

I love the review dj,very detailed and thorough. Im also a fan of Forestmen, however this set just looks like a big grey and black lump to me Looks like there are a great assortment of figs and weapons pieces, and at the time I probably would have purchased this set. Now though I think I will be happy just buying forestmen off BL. Keep up the good photography and reviewing! Cheers ISC

At first look I wasn't all that impressed with the overall appeal of this moc (from the small pic) On closer inspection it is filled with all the wonderful details I come to expect from you DNL! Sheer Brilliance that rewards many looks! The Trebuchet is great, perhaps the wooden roof could look more damaged from the bombardment though. All the greebling is really nice on the tower and the sloping effect at the base of the wall is nice too. Could you tell me what is the deal with the white and dark red plating deep in the concrete only in one area? Is it primitive foundations? Good luck with the contest.

I assume it might be like horses or those gungan things with a slot for the figure to stand in. Cmon Old Trilogy resurgence!

I love OT, it was such an iconic time in my childhood, so many happy memories, figures, collector cards etc. I love the clone wars clones as well, but you just cant beat the small band of rebels vs the whole imperial empire underdog story! As was mentioned by Oky OT FTW! Cant wait to get a Mill Falcon next year if it is minifig scale!

Welcome aboard! If you would like to have a go at the war room, thats fine. It doesn't have a modular wall as you noticed, so you may build the wall in light and dark grey/bley as you see fit. Really nice review Brickster! I love the look of this set with technic pins holding the raft together so studs are on each end. Ditto to the figures and parrot. The Kraken is good but not really something I would buy the set for. Hollisbrick, i think you are confusing reviews, as there is no cannon in this set Def a must buy for me. Cheers

Thats a solid assumption there, wonder what Copmike will know? You know that clone helmet in your sig pic, well for a long time I thought it was some weird puppy dog on a bubble type thingy, you know the two eyes and nose. Creepy! It wasn't until I saw your travels around the world that I realized it was a clone helmet.

Great news thanks to cagri and Christian! I cant wait to see what the AFOL's designed for this coming year. Im not sure if you all remember they called in some AFOLs to help with designing the 07 line relaunch of Castle. For 08 TLC designed the sets themselves, however they called upon more AFOL's for the 09 sets. Hopefully this means nicely designed sets Troll/Dwarf BPs On!
