EB Community Castle Build: Discussion Thread
I Scream Clone replied to I Scream Clone's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Thanks Thrash and castlestrike! I can't wait for the staircase. Just one question though, did we ever decide how high each floor of the keep would be? 6 bricks high? I will have to look at Sandy's modules for reference, as it wouldn't be any good having a staircase 12 high if all the other levels are 6. Cheers for the thumbnails too Thrash. -
Thanks mate I remember trying that out before, maybe I have to read a little closer this time around. Cheers

In another shameless double post! I present my Barracks Module. I had a tonne of fun building this Barracks and it really sprung to life right in front of me. Every detail was fun. It got to the stage where I just had to stop or it wouldn't get finished. I think I managed to overcome the lack of light bley nicely in the corner too. But hey you be the judge I have decided to post a couple of extra pics for larger modules, say 8. HA new rule, take that! And of course there are more here when moderated, I hope you all like it Here's the thumb too Thrash, if you can weave your magic font wise -
Review : 8019 Republic Attack Shuttle
I Scream Clone replied to ReZourceman's topic in LEGO Star Wars
With all the other goodness available at the moment it will be hard to get this, though I like the sleekness of the shuttle, and Mace might seal the deal. Thanks for the Review ReZourceman -
Hi Josh Only Mods/Admin can fix the title of a topic. I know its hard for the fingers to keep up with the brain sometimes Josh

I have another wanted list question. I want to save a cataloged inventory of one set, say 7662, how can I save the whole set inventory as a wanted list? No one wants to enter a whole set into a wanted list! Thats a good way to get the best bargains provided you dont pay too much for shipping from each shop

Just fabulous darkagent! I love all the congregation crammed into the little church. The wall tapestries are great too. The stained window looks nice, good thing it looks fortified or I would be breaking into the castle that way Keep up the good work. -

Sweet work on the Custom Templar! I wish I had the first clue on doing decals etc. The Church and Chapel are really nice. The Curved tower is looking great. -
Pure Awesome Teddy! Though your pics are dark as said, there is no mistaking the sheer size and scope of this undertaking. You must have bought a lot of light bley by now Im very envious of this project, and if you ever want to submit a module for EBCCB drop on over. Cheers ISC

I know I promised a WIP pic, but I have just about finished it and didn't want to ruin the surprise as it is one of only a few big modules built so far I basically just need to place the figs when I get home tonight and snap some pics. I had to make a little concession to running out of light grey, but all in all im pretty happy with how it has turned out. I will have a look at Stol's creation now while I remember. -

Codes all updated Thanks again Thrash Erdbeeries1 your courtyard is just amazing, well done. Jim, As Thrash said, The wall isn't required if you cant make it, unfortunately mine needs the wall as it integral to the whole structure. The smaller modules are ok without it (though we all know it would look sweet to have the wall as well ) And to all, thank you for making this such a cool experience. Now, I must say I didn't want to post pics of my Barracks, however due to all the good work going on around here, I felt compelled to. I will edit the pics into this post shortly. -

Just so cool Lalande. So many nice details, including the stage hands/ puppeteers. The Kings look great as does the baby. all the groovy curtain colours are brilliant. What a treat for the townsfolk of EBCCB world -
I love 6209, I bought it a yearago off US eBay and paid $60 US and got it maile to Australia. All up about $110 Aus. I have a review here that may convince you to pick it up. Its still one of only 2 sets I haven't broken up, I just love it. I suggest finding someone on US ebay who can ship it to you, or Bricklink.

Just awesome! All these teaser pics are just whetting my appetite even more! I wonder if anyone will notice if I submit this as a EBCCB module Udderly fantastic! -
I know this was reviewed 3 months ago Jim, but I missed it the first time round. Im very impressed by the detail you have put into this review, and as someone that is looking to pick this set up soon (on sale ) I must say it has a lot of playability as well as a stack of useful parts for MOCing! (gotta love all those cool brown slopes ) Thanks for showing every nook and cranny as well as the many different deployment capabilities of the small hovercraft. Bravo.

REVIEW: 8958 Granite Grinder
I Scream Clone replied to GIR 3691's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Off to a nice start on your review GIR3691. Perhaps this topic will help you resize your pics and how to post them here, as they are way to big for me to want to load up. Otherwise you have written an nice informative review on a newly released set. Cheers. You may also like to sign up for the Reviewer Academy if you like. Cheers
