In Nürnberg photographing is generally not allowed anywhere in the fair. That does not mean though that pictures will not show up. We know from previous years that they will, especially from New York.

LEGO > Transformers by more than a factor 2 in a youtube search. But, it's off topic. Please start a new thread on that subject.

I worked as a consultant for LEGO A/S for 9 months in 2007, and have been in the company since January 2008. There is nothing like working for a company that grows, makes money. It's so much harder to enjoy your work when the company struggles and lay off employees. It just kills most motivation and innovation. Ok, sales in this or that country grew 30% from 2008 to 2009. Doing another 30 % is kind of unreal. Erland

I've seen this particular movie in English, at work that is But I must say that the French version is awesome. The speaker's voice is awesome. I will go back to Hero Factory head quarter and demand that all Hero Factory material in the future is made in French, and French obly.

Truly a funny review. Only little text, but very precise, and FUNNY. The two heroes you got together in a picture, share the same torso. I actually did not know the 6 heroes had two different torsos, before seeing it here on EB in the reviews. Having two of the same hero, will make kneepads (or elbow protectors) out of helmets a possibility. That was a commercial, lol

The blue chest armor is the usual "weapon" material, and in some colours this just not match ABS and PC very well. In e.g. white sets like Stormer it's not that visible.

I don't know what criteria Consumer Service use, but I think the missing gold legs on that set was intentional, and only got "fixed" after consumers complained, "fixed" by making sure that sets produced later had the legs. I suspect Consumer Service may have a hard time finding golden robot legs, they were not used in sets since then. If you feel you should have legs, I guess it can't hurt to ask them politely, telling that you just opened the set.

You need to have a place where you can upload the photos, because you can't upload to the Eurobricks server. Flickr, picasa, photobucket are sites where you can upload for free. Then you can link to the photos from a thread here on Eurobricks. The general forum here is a fine place to ask for identification parts, so if you had some images I'm sure people would respond within ten minutes.

Hello and welcome to Eurobricks. Did you try the Catalog on BL: Catalog on Bricklink Then take your part, search for the 5 (or 4) digit number, which is the part number. Type that into the search field on top of the page, set to search in catalog. Did you try and browse the Technic parts (other Technic related part categories exist too): Technic parts on BL But maybe you already have done that, and the parts are not there at all. BTW: New members can't send or receive personal messages. But create a new thread in the Hello! My name is... section, get a conversation going, and you may reach the ten posts needed to send and recieve messages.

Isn't it more a less a description of what can be seen in the video starting with Firelord and "In 2011" ..... But yes, it might be new on the website.

In theory you should be able to order, even if you lived on the moon, as long as you have a postal address. Go to LEGO.COM and fill in the form.

If it's in the middle of the round hole, right at one extreme of the hand, this is a possible failure, that was always possible with all versions of ball cups (you are never gonna make me call them sockets). But I haven't seen this on any test parts during development. The normal failure of older types of ball cups, is a crack placed somewhat at an angle on one side of the cup. The problem with this failure is that it makes the ball cup useless, having no friction anymore. The failure which Bundalings have seen, are more related to production variance during filling of the mould. This failure, although very unfortunate, does not reduce the function of the ball cup to the same extent, that the crack on one side does. I do have an extra Drop Ship, so maybe I should have kept my mouth shut. It is possible to take a photo of hand with failure ? You could just mail (pm) me, asking for email address, or upload it somewhere. Still, I would mail (contact form) Consumer Service, asking for replacements. Damn silver materials Front aka Erland

If you can break one by putting it on and off a ball, I'll give you a Drop Ship

Welcome to Eurobricks, an addiction nearly as bad as LEGO bricks themselves. I hope you'll enjoy it here Dark Knight. cheers from Denmark Front

The design of the actual ball cup is the same. What has changed is that the axle hole (cross hole) has gone from a closed type, to a type that has an opening (as seen on many Technic beams). This open type is much better, ensuring consistent friction when putting an axle (cross axle) into it. The function and strength of the ball cup is to my knowledge unchanged. If you look at different LEGO parts, you will be able to identify several types of cross holes. Some are better than others, when it comes to consistent function. That's some really cool series of 6 characters. I'm not sure if I could pick a favorite, but lined up they really look well thought through.

I like the new 2011 constraction figures from LEGO, because they feature new parts that form a new family of bones, torso and shells (armor). My love might not be the worlds biggest surprise, as I was involved in developing the parts. Now that the designers has done their part, creating the sets, the fans of Hero Factory and Bionicle are supposed to show off their moc's. I'm blending in here, trying to inspire. I'm having fun spending time moc'ing, somthing I've not really done much the last year or so. It's kind of fun making new versions of a known set. You kind of just use the original mask/helmet, stick to the colour scheme, and the go ahead and put parts together, in an amount that would result in a set double the prize of the original. That's a luxus that the designers don't have, they need to stay within a prize point of e.g. 7.99 or 12.99 US $. I'll start of with my latest moc, Meltdown 3.1, but will add recent moc's to the thread later. Click on image to see it in up to 1200 pixel width. cheers Erland

Consumers complaining about missing parts, functions not working etc. All because the instructions are not fully clear. Do you think a consumer that had problems getting a big TECHNIC set to function, because they made an error very early in the building proces, are likely to go out in half a years time and buy the next TECHNIC set ? I think you have the answer. -
I guess there might be a reason why 90615 and 90614 haven't been seen yet :-) I agree, there is quite a gap between 90616 with 1 Technic hole, and 90613 with 4.

The short version is that it's a toy for kids. .. Function in the outer rings could easily be destroyed if you tilted a light saber half way down.
-
Only the two last (inner) half-circles have function. The outer have bigger diameters. So a rod will only attach when it reaches those two inner half-circles.

Do only bigshots make the front page?

You should not be sorry in any way. I think that this thread is great, as it gives "admins" a chance to explain how they select front-page stuff. So in that way you have done a brave thing by starting the discussion. And you have a point I guess, because if this is how you felt about the selection of front-page stuff, there are probably a lot more users with the same feeling. I am sure that with your help here, "admins" will put even more effort in the selection of front-page stuff. cheers -
Yes, I'm a Part Designer, so I engineer (3D model) the parts that the designers want. Officially I only know about what's in the stores, though my knowledge stops at the 2011 January release. Front aka Erland
