  1. Well, half of the pictures on page 1 in this thread.
  2. A SUPERHERO came out of the Bionicle office, ehh, I mean Hero Factory office. Ammo belt piece is fantastic.
  3. LEGO Superheroes website
  4. Even though it was a very early image, you can see that the claw shells survived into the actual 2011 summer sets. Things just tend to become a little smaller and less impressive, when it has to be made for real.
  5. An excellent review, thank you. I built the set before going on holiday, and was quite positive surprised due to the build of the torso, but also the posing abilities of the set. The number of limbs requires a higher educational degree from the child trying to pose it. But it works at least.
  6. Hehe, you wish. I shall tell some of the designers how cool these spherical eyes could be as silver (315) attachments on dark silver (316) shells (armors), or visa versa. Maybe it could make sense in future sets, although you know we tend to like spiky things, not soft round That's the cool thing about the new shells, you can add inexpensive small teeth etc. in the two shaft holes. I think adding Barraki eyes in trans-red will look terrible, although that was my first thought right after I built the set.
  7. Thank you for a great review, with really clear images. I've boosted a Raw Jaw by adding viking horns in each of the exoforce arms, giving him long finger nails.
  8. There is a new beam piece in the set, in the form of two light grey B-type Beam with two Technic holes, part number 90615. Great review, maybe the best 2011 HF set, although very similar to Fire Lord.
  9. I'm afraid I can't attend in 2012, I may be in USA to at least the 10 of May.
  10. But the attracting stuff on Raw-Jaw is his arms, each with the two new shells in red. Add to that the head. He may be short, but if you spread out his arms, he span the width of two heroes. At least. And yes I've built him, and looked at him for god knows how long
  11. As by now every 20th kid in Germany has the set, I just picked up the phone and dialed some random numbers, until a kid with the instructions in his hands, was kind enough to pass on the information. Or maybe not :-)
  12. Nice to see pictures from the event in Windsor, looks like you had a great time.
  13. Set #2283: WD. Usefull parts: 7 Beam A 3M in Red 90612 39 Ball with cross hole in Red 53585 28 Ball cup with 3 cross holes in black (y-joint) 93571 and not to forget: 10 Beam C 5M in black 90622 Even something for Technic nerds: 9 New 2011 Technic connector block in light grey 92907 Enjoy !
  14. I hope you all have an awesome event this year, great days with great weather, really have fun. I would have loved to come again this year, especially with so many attending from the UK. GO EB event GO !
  15. It was Von Nebula with the Bionicle mask.
  16. I am pretty sure me and my brothers had that set back as kids. I like your new version, although I would have liked the use of the Atlantis divers helmet in white with gold visor, as used in the 2011 City Space sets. Helmet
  17. Raw-Jaw and Witch Doctor are the ones that are hottest in my head right now.
  18. Yes, some of the shapes I've made to the build is rather strange. The C-type bone really should be in pick a brick, I have to agree with you. The reason why it isn't is surely because no heroes use it. Hopefully it will change.
  19. I've now reach the fingertip of left hand. The arm might have turned out a bit short here, but please understand that I'm building this to learn how to handle the parts in LDD, and also learn how to build sturctures with these parts. I'm confident that I'll have another go at a big figure, where proportions and the appearance of the creature are the main priority . I've changed colours, the orange beams are all the single C-type beam that the system currently have. C-type beams with ball cups at each end is vital in builds like this, due to (1) beams having balls at the middle, and (2) torsos having balls and no ball cups.
  20. Well I've added armor (shells) already, which will be seen in the next update. But if you study the pictures carefully, you may realize that there is only few balls the are free to have armors added.
  21. I've made a hip section and is now working my way up the torso.
  22. Stability will be an issue that is very hard to predict without building the MOC. I might try to do it for real when the digital model is completed. I will try and shape some kind of head using the bone pieces. I might add some shells (armor) to help give some shape though.
  23. I'm going big, Bones A, B and C type all over the place, torsos in batches of a dozen. It's work in progress, here is the right leg: Stay tuned.
  24. I can't seem to type in angles in the three text boxes, the assembly just approximate what I type in. But I just managed to close a loop of 5 of these elements, by rotating them together, adjusting each joint one by one.
  25. The new Ball/ball cup beams are now in LDD, few in normal mode, most if not all in extended mode. I must say the team did a great job simulating the limited articulation of the varies ball cup-ball connections. but.... Is it possible to close a loop like this ?
