  1. The car is basically done. I will make photo building instructions over the weekend (i hope).
  2. Very interesting. In multiple cylinder engines one does have to make a crankshaft journal between each cylinder/cylinder pair though, to prevent the crank from bending.
  3. You mean long? Surely there's no need for a 4 cylinder to be that wide?
  4. I'll do a 4 door sedan version. I think. But since it's lego, once i release the instructions for it, you can make your own variant of it :)
  5. In about 2 weeks. I'm ordering some parts for it on BL tomorrow, then i can complete all parts of it in black.
  6. I am following this development with great interest. My future plans do include a supercar with 6 or 8 of these. And the Sierra might be also suitable for a stack of 3 or 4 to make it drift.
  7. New poll is up btw... it's between the two finalists: https://www.strawpoll.me/21205649/r
  8. A truck might happen in the future.
  9. Sierra overtook the Audi Quattro by a big margin.
  10. Depends. We'll decide in the stream.
  11. Poll is up btw: https://www.strawpoll.me/21187523
  12. Yup. I think the small scale car will be something fwd, like a vw van or golf. Just to be different.
  13. What i am using is what i had on hand. 2958 might indeed be the better choice. I'll see if there are some in gray available.
  14. The wheels dictated the size, so 1:8.4 was what was calculated. And by the looks of it, my calculations of all the dimensions were pretty good.
  15. This thing would make the flex axle too long :P
  16. The flex axles can not go through axleholes, that's why that piece is not being used. The triangle mounting points on the firewall can not be changed, especially not in the positions you are suggesting. That would make it worse. The mount points are where the structure is strongest.
  17. Don't forget to submit your suggestions for the next project.
  18. With time and a bit of help it loosens up.
